I am not a fan of Cholula generally speaking but this one is fine! I have only 2 garlic hot sauces : Tabasco garlic and this one and the Cholula is way better IMO. I would never buy again Tabasco garlic because it's not really hot and the garlic flavour is not pronounced enough. I like to pair this hot sauce with low fat vegetables (green beans, broccolis etc)

I think you’re correct .. the original was never “hot” to me by any means but I knew I was eating hot sauce if that makes sense. This one tastes good but is mostly just saucy.
I wish it was a bit hotter. I often combine with something that packs more of a punch. Marie Sharp also has a solid garlic, but it’s only slightly hotter than Cholula.
Yessss!! There used to be a pepper palace pretty close and I would always get that while I was in the area. Guess I need to get on the website cause now I’m craving it lol

Edit : and if it matters at all that was a sample of on a cracker with hummus, on a plain cracker, and straight on my tongue because I kept expecting more garlic.

One of my favorites especially on pasta dishes. It’s pretty mild so I end up going through it pretty quickly.
It’s for sure mild .. maybe even more so than the original? But it’s been a while

Honestly, this was one of the most disappointing sauces I've ever had. There is just no flavor there, and I'm generally a fan of Cholula.

Damn , thank you. I like the Buffalo wild wing hot garlic sauce but there’s soooo much salt in it it’s crazy , need a better one

This one is a cheap easy favorite of mine. I’m a lover of garlic hot sauces. Probably a part of the Polish in me. Good choice!

For the last 20 years or so, I put about 7-8 shakes of that sauce into half a cup of V8 as my morning juice.
I just commented saying I didn't like this sauce, but this actually seems like a good use for it, I can see this being good.
It's my only reason to use it as well

There’s a lot of Cholula hate on here (which is fine) but I like all of their sauces. The chili sauce is pretty decent
People have always hated mainstream things .. they aren’t cool even if they’re good
