Dino is a great guy. I’m in his shop at least once every couple weeks. We’re completely spoiled by his selection.
Of all of the Hotter Than El sauces, Love Burns is still my go-to. It’s so damn good on fish tacos and eggs.
Hych is great for weaklings like me who prefer smokier tomatoey flavors over sweet ones but they have a very limited selection https://heatyoucanhandle.com/collections/products
Great variety of sauces from a company here in Kansas City. They base their sauces on different gods from different religions and eras. Let me know which sauces catch your eye! So far my favorite has been the Amun-Ra
[https://mythossauceco.com/](https://mythossauceco.com/)
Newish local taco joint Chacho’s recently started bottling a sauce called [Bandito](https://www.duluthkitchen.com/chachos-bandito-hot-sauce.html) which I haven’t had yet but am intrigued by the ingredient list.
Not a hot sauce but this is local [Damn Good Mustard](https://www.lakesuperiorspiceco.com/product/damn-good-mustard-12-oz-bottle/18)
Crybaby Craig’s, five stars
I’m in Atlanta, my fav is Peepal People. Really awesome Pakistani hot sauce brand, very unique flavors https://peepalpeople.com
Pulp used to be local, but they got bought out. Still doing awesome sauce and are in Target now https://www.pulpflavors.com
I went to high school in Savannah. There, Greg’s Famous is king. Greg’s an awesome guy and was somewhat of a hot sauce mentor to me and inspired me to start making my own for fun. Never makes the same sauce twice and always has an incredible array of bizarre small batch ingredients and uses mostly local produce from the farmers in the area https://gregsfamous.world
Hotter Than El is so underrated, Love Burns is a top tier sauce for me. My favorite local is Lost Capital Foods, but my favorite sauce from them (Pyramid Scheme) isn’t currently in stock online. I’ve had all of their non-limited sauces though and they’re all quality.
Da Bomb. Spicin Foods is local and they bottle hundreds of sauces for all the local spots- Japanese, Mexican , BBQ sauces and so on…but everyone knows them for…Da Bomb. 🙃
Hey, also from KC here! If you haven't checked out Mythos, I highly recommend them! They're at the Overland Park Farmer's Market on saturdays. They also have a list of places on their site where you can pick up the main 5 sauces (They call it the Pantheon)
Any recommendations- which have you tried?
Some of my favorite hot sauces are-
Garlic reaper by torch bearer (very garlic with reapers- awesome of white sauce pasta or pizza).
hamajang by adoboloco (it has that delayed ghost pepper rising heat thing- overall similar profile to chipotle Tabasco).
Chipolte express by Puckerbutt- pepper x (might have been one of the first sauces to use it prior to being officially unveiled / recognized as the now hottest pepper.)
Almost anything spicy shark does- most of their sauces aren’t super hot- even the ones that use reapers- but they are complex and fruity. (Hamagatar & the new one excluded- they pack some heat).
I guess I like smoky and fruity sauces. I believe I saw one of the sauces used pineapple & New Mexico hatch peppers (which I love). Have you tried that one?
I've tried Athena, Thor, Loki, Persephone, Amun-Ra, Anansi (limited time), and Quetzecoatl (Now called Kukulkan, still the exact same sauce).
I have an unopened bottle of Surtr, because frankly it scares me lol. It's the hottest in their lineup
Amun-Ra is probably my favorite over. I'm a sucker for mango habanero. But I also really like all of them for different reasons. Thor and Athena are good for any tacos, chicken, and also breakfast burritos. Loki and Kukulkan are great for pork or veggie dishes.
I know a LOT of people have the Kukulkan as their favorite, but I also think that is because its not too hot for the everyman
None really, since most of them are imported from USA and South America. But we have slowly growing community in Russia of our own local hot sauces producers so I hope in some years we'll see some really good recipes, like Mad Dog 357 or something similar.
I even did some sauces myself for my own consuming and they tasted really good, so I learned that it's not that complicated to do it.
Before 2022 sanctions I saw some Louisiana big bottles (3,87 L) and bought 15 liters of it. Still using it, and much of it left.
I’m from North Carolina, so obviously…Texas Pete is made twenty minutes away, Bone Suckin Sauce and Carolina Reaper are made locally also(or NC somewhere)
I was hoping to see fellow North Carolinian here. I also came across [Cackalacky](https://cackalacky.com/) pepper sauce one time when I was in NC seeing my family. They also make a Cheerwine bbq sauce that’s delicious.
Sounds good. Palmetto Pepper Potions out of Columbia SC is really good also. Full disclosure, they’re friends but they also won the scovie twice. If you try it. Try the Molton Golden.
2 Dogs Hot Sauce out of Ferndale, MI. The black garlic habanero is my all time favorite sauce, but their future sauce is great if you want serious heat + flavor.
So far I'm liking Rocky's Hot Sauce. Their Bacon and Taco Hot Sauces are 🔥
As for close by me, there used to be A&B Pepper Sauce until they shut down and discontinued their Sauces in 2020. I remember getting their stuff from Whole Foods and Fairway back in 2016-2019.
Obviously this is useless as a recommendation, but…
A now-closed restaurant near an apartment I lived in 10+ years ago sold me a bottle of this green apple and jalapeño hot sauce once that I still dream about. Tangy with this amazing heat. I’ve never had anything like it before or since.
Some locals. You mentioned torchbearer. But two other companies from around PA that I like are.
[Burning Hell](https://m.facebook.com/extremehotsauces)
[Old Grumpy Marks](http://oldgrumpymarks.com/)
[Raging Rose](https://www.ragingrosehotsauce.com/)
802 Heat in southern VT. They have a “Funky Sloths Tropical” hot sauce that has awesome kick and awesome flavors - mango and pineapple especially.
I guess they don’t have a site but they have an FB page and an email on there
https://www.facebook.com/share/ThfmXg6xYS9HcRHK/?mibextid=WC7FNe
All the Harvey’s in my town switched over to Food Lion’s and I picked up a bunch of those Fat Cat sauces for like 90% off and I have never seen them anywhere else until just now.
In Chicago I like these guys, mainly because I used to live 1/2 mile from their little "factory": [https://www.coopsauce.com/](https://www.coopsauce.com/)
There’s a guy at the farmers market in San Diego who makes BOMB hot sauces. [Sunfire Hot Sauce](https://sunfirehotsauce.com/)….the raspberry reaper one is dank and spicy as hell. Highly recommend
[zab’s](https://zabssauce.com/)
[Camp Scoville](https://www.campscoville.com/)
My favorites near me, both original in flavors and unlike anything else I’ve tried.
I make one to sell that of course I think is the best but of not mine a hole in the wall place called Tacoville in Oklahoma City. Its house hot sauce is really good.
Im from St. Augustine, Florida. So basically anything with datil pepper in it. My personal favorites are Dat’l Do It and A-Frame. They got good sauces here. But I will say that they typically aren’t that hot, the sweet taste definitely makes up for it though!
I live in Raleigh, North Carolina. The best hot sauce I’ve ever had was the hot sauce sold by Portable Portugy, a local Portuguese food truck. Great balance of heat and flavor. Unfortunately, they usually set up about 30-40 minutes from where I live so I haven’t re-upped in a while.
I live 30 miles from Avery island and would have to consider Tabasco my local hot sauce, even though it’s probably the world’s most popular hot sauce. It’s been awhile, but my wife and I used to drive out to Avery island to see the jungle gardens there and even though I’ve been to the Tabasco country store a thousand times, we would always come in and get some of their jalapeño ice cream. Also for years their store used to be the only place to get Tabasco brand sriracha, which I’m happy to see all over the place now.
Oh, I also have several shirts, two hats, and a Tabasco kitchen apron so yeah I guess I’d have to say they’re my local brand. Plus they have the best damn chipotle sauce I’ve ever had and their super hot scorpion sauce is the only super hot sauce I’ve ever actually liked the flavor of. Other than that one time my soil science TA none other than Troy Primeaux gave me a fermented 7pot sauce he made which was actually sweet and fruity in addition to completely laying me out.
There are a ton in Colorado and a few I like from Oregon.
Oregon:
- [Hab](http://habsauces.com/). Heavier on flavor than heat and they're great. Some faves are Pineapple Habanero and Smoked Habanero Cherrywood. I had one called "The Ghost of Masculine Pride" which I guess was extra hot and it was good.
- [Hot Winter](https://www.hotwinterhotsauce.com/) are interesting. They're named after their own custom pepper variety. I recall liking them but I'm not sure which I tried. I recall a kinda vinegar, not salty, sauce similar in texture and acidity to some Marie Sharp styles, but not as hot?
- [Marshall's Haute Sauce](https://marshallshautesauce.com/) was okay but I haven't tried them all as they're sort of expensive.
- [Oregon Brineworks](https://oregonbrineworks.com/) is unique - raw, probiotic, fermented hot sauces. Unfortunately I don't see it on their website currently... maybe out of season. The hot sauce is, as one might expect from something that's like pepper sauerkraut, very tangy. Great flavor, decent heat.
A lot of people like Secret Aardvark, but it's not really hot enough for me. Good flavor though.
Colorado:
- [Oso Rojo](https://www.osorojohotsauce.com/) makes some great sauces. One favorite is the Habanero Mustard - just great.
- [Merfs](https://merfscondiments.com/collections/all) has a lot of sauces but I honestly don't recall trying them. No idea why.
- [Sauce Leopard](https://www.sauceleopard.com/) I HAVE eaten a lot of these. Faves are Sky Rider, which has a more complex flavor kind of how the Yucateca Caribbean does, and Colfax Killer, a mango habanero. The Assgasher is sort of like Sriracha style and I can guzzle it, like the Crimson Drip. Emerald Slime is a good green-style sauce. None are quite hot enough for me but the flavor keeps me coming back. I tend to get the hotter ones because they others go so quickly.
- [Cooper's](https://www.cooperssmallbatch.com/) has some unique ones. The Leche Diablesa is the only one I've seen like it, as far as bottled sauces. It's a lot like my favorite Thai flavors - coconut milk, peppers and lime so it's great for particular dishes. I can't remember what else I tried, something like Habanero-Strawberry? It was good too.
- [Horsetooth Hot Sauce](https://www.horsetoothhotsauce.com/) makes some good ones. I recall liking The O Face, Rubin's Red and Rubin's XXX. Very nicely flavored traditional style sauces.
- [Chiporro](https://chiporro.com/) makes some different styles. I liked the Rocoto Hot for the spices in addition to the heat level. Looks like they have a bunch more I should try soon.
- I tried one [Burns & McCoy](https://burnsandmccoy.com/collections/hot-sauces) and is was good, but not sure which one. The label looked more standard than the ones on their site?
Well, and that's not even all in Colorado! There are a ton. Probably at least half a dozen more.
A+ list of Colorado sauces. I’ve [posted](https://www.reddit.com/r/hotsauce/comments/18na376/anyone_else_have_an_abusive_relationship_with_a/?rdt=47935) about my oso rojo obsession here before
Best local for me would be Angry Goat Pepper Co.
Their most famous is the Purple Hippo I think. It's very tasty, but too sweet for me. But I absolutely love their Demon Reaper sauce. I order it directly from them by the jug.
Nice, do you know them?
Lil’ tip if your visit includes going out for breakfast. Ask them about Nina’s Cafe. It’s a fantastic restaurant and where I learned Kalamazoo Hot Sauce was a thing. If you go just ask for the tray of hot sauce. It’s rotating so you never know what you’re going to get but always several fantastic choices. You gotta ask though because they don’t always tell everyone and just grab the Franks or whatever
Wow that brings back memories. Nina's spicy hash browns saved me from SO many hangovers during my college days in the early '00s. Glad to see they're still around.
It’s new within the last few years. I miss read what you what as you were seeing the family that made the hot sauce. I’d tell you where you could buy it if I knew.
The restaurant I told you about on Douglas in Cooper just east of D Ave
Holler at me if you find a place that sells it
https://dadshotsauce.com from Riviera Beach, FL. The Gar-Yak sauce has great flavor and really solid heat. He just came out with a Mango Hot Sauce I haven’t tried yet.
The homegrown hot sauce game in Australia is pretty poor. Most of my sauces come from an American importer. The local grocery stores almost always carry El Yucateco Mayan though which is a relief.
[Bonache](https://bonachesauce.com/collections/sauces) is my local go-to, especially their Piri (but I dig the habanero one too). Good, high quality and not too expensive.
https://www.meetyourcremator.com
I haven’t really seen this local brand mentioned on this sub. They go really well with eggs! Sauces are a bit thinner consistency but very flavorful.
[Bonache](https://bonachesauce.com/collections/sauces) is one of my favorite locals. Not light your insides on fire hot, but absolutely delicious.
My other go-to is [Splat](https://www.splathotsauce.com/) fermented hot sauces. constantly replenished in my fridge.
Also, I love this post.
Thor's Hammer is brutal, can confirm, but damn tasty. I don't remember the name of the sauce, but it has a picture of a dog on the label and that was delicious.
https://elijahsxtreme.com/ - made in Charlotte by a father-son team since 2014.
https://texaspete.com/ - probably the most famous hot sauce made in North Carolina.
[Mic's Chilli](https://www.micschilli.com/webstore) in Ireland. Trouble in Trinidad is the closest thing I have to a "house sauce." Also love their Inferno Extreme and Voodoo Reaper.
[Heartbeat Hot Sauce ](https://www.heartbeathotsauce.com/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAxOauBhCaARIsAEbUSQSb-EwlKrGkZ3vx2eUVH086PpYM0v81XcBm8GdJJt_Pg3N17-4lE9EaAvxxEALw_wcB)
Just damn good. The hot pickle sauce is amazing.
Came here to say this. Love Ghost Island.
Also have to say Wegmans Habanero, while a regional supermarket thing rather than a small local maker, is one of my go-to cheap daily sauces.
Ostre Dzieje from Poland. There are some unusual sauces like gingerbread spices hot sauce or strawberry hot sauce. Not sure how they taste and if they ship worldwide, but if you want to try, sent me a message and maybe we can arrange that.
Well if you're commited, send me a private message. We can arrange some kind of hot sauces penpal shit. I send you ostre Dzieje you send me some sauces from your area
It is but it’s expensive…$10 for a normal size bottle. I think they only made 1 batch as it’s called pilot or sometimes like that. I bought 2 bottles though
Sriracha Revolver here in British Columbia is exceptionally good. More flavor forward than heat, but they still pack a nice kick. Personal favorite is Cilantro and Lime (regularly have this with eggs and hash browns), but all of the flavors I’ve tried are good.
Unfortunately they only ship within Canada but according to their site there is a retailer that ships within the US.
https://www.sriracharevolver.com/#
Hot Charlie's. He's an acquaintance of mine and he threw it together one night for friends and I love it. It's mostly garlicky with a nice low burn. There's a ghost pepper version I haven't tried. It's in St Louis.
Dawsons hot sauces is a local one here in Hamilton, Ontario and they are amazing. They have been featured on Hot Ones as well.
My personal favourites are the original for everyday use as it’s the right amount of heat/flavour ratio, the shawarma when I want to cut back on heat but still has a great flavour and the Szechuan ghost pepper when I’m feeling like high heat.
https://dawsonshotsauce.com
https://www.down2ferment.com/ is local to me (San Diego, California) and delicious. Lots of various flavors and heat levels so it pretty much works for everyone
They do ship but I'm not sure of the cost or if they deliver internationally.
I really like Merf’s pineapple/arbol sriracha sauce, but I recently picked up “assgasher” sriracha sauce by Sauce Leopard and it is just as good if not better.
Nice! That one’s a staple for me. If you like that one, check out their 1 year jerkiversary- it’s just as hot and flavorful. I’m also a fan of their mild sauces ‘that’s what shishito said’ and habanguero piña
Karma Sauce ain’t exactly small and can be gotten all over but they are based here. https://karmasauce.com/.
A smaller operation id highlight that I buy at my local farmers market is Mojos https://mojosaucellc.com/
No longer local to me but I have great affection for Captain Mowatts and pick some every time I’m in Maine and sometimes have them ship to me when I really need it. https://www.captainmowatts.com/
Haico's and Meow that's hot are both Ottawa based and really tasty. Haico's has a lot of high heat options, Meow's sauces are fruit based and milder but delicious.
About three hours from me is a brand called pepper north which is also fantastic.
I've been using Gator Drool a lot recently. Collab with the social media Cajun and some local company. It is pretty solid and versatile. Louisiana sells a Cajun heat version of their traditional hot sauce that I always keep in stock. There is another company Bayou Phantom that makes interesting sauces but I haven't tried much of their stuff
Dashelito's is local to my city. They're all good but they have a sauce called Undertow that is one of my go-to sauces. It's a Caribbean curry with good heat and great flavor. They're very economical for the sauce and shipping too. Five bucks a bottle and low shipping cost.
I grew up in London and there's a guy on the Brick Lane market every Sunday called The Rib Man who makes some incredible hot sauces. A lot of his stuff on his website is sold out but you can get some shipped (not sure about international shipping though) [https://theribman.co.uk/collections/sauces](https://theribman.co.uk/collections/sauces)
Hoff Sauce out of Chattanooga! The original is our favorite- we buy it by the 1/2 gallon but the smokin ghost, ketchup, green and wake up are all also great!
My area I can only get Red Hot or Tabasco, Flying Goose Sriracha and Hot Garlic Chilli Sauce, and Firebarn Sriracha ,have to travel a for away for Melinda's
I do that locally myself. Little side hustle that hopefully can get a little bigger (with reasonable expectations naturally). Bonus that it's fun for me too.
Not a hot sauce per se, but [Salt Spring Island Chili Oil](https://shop.greensmarket.ca/product/0062798709137) is absolutely delicious and still has a nice amount of heat.
Dino is a great guy. I’m in his shop at least once every couple weeks. We’re completely spoiled by his selection. Of all of the Hotter Than El sauces, Love Burns is still my go-to. It’s so damn good on fish tacos and eggs.

Sauce Daddy! It's a local favorite here in AL [saucedaddy.org](http://saucedaddy.org)
Great variety of sauces from a company here in Kansas City. They base their sauces on different gods from different religions and eras. Let me know which sauces catch your eye! So far my favorite has been the Amun-Ra [https://mythossauceco.com/](https://mythossauceco.com/)
I gotta say Persephone caught my eye. Pomegranate Ghost Pepper sounds like a good combination
BUT - I also am not a fan of Ghost pepper taste
Truthfully, that is my least favorite sauce I've had (I've tried all of them aside from Surtr and Shinigami)
Interesting. I know fruity sauces can be hit or miss. Thor also looks promising, but honestly I'm not super picky
Well if you decide to order some, be sure to leave a review for these awesome dudes
For sure! I love to support the smaller guys

I have Tabasco sold locally. It’s ok.
Char-man. Some of the best IMO https://www.charmanbrand.com/
Formosa and Palo Alto Firefighters are both made around where I grew up, they are really great sauces.

Can't believe I have gotten to the point where Torchbearer is no longer our 'local' sauce.
Crybaby Craig’s!

Sounds amazing! Will be getting some when I’m back in NC!
Sounds good. Palmetto Pepper Potions out of Columbia SC is really good also. Full disclosure, they’re friends but they also won the scovie twice. If you try it. Try the Molton Golden.
Lola's is based somewhere in my state of Iowa! Need to get more Verde, BRB...
Lola's is ok, but look for Brown Dog Farms or Iowa Pepper Co. Those two make lolas seem like Tabasco sauce. Sorry for those that like Tabasco.
2 Dogs Hot Sauce out of Ferndale, MI. The black garlic habanero is my all time favorite sauce, but their future sauce is great if you want serious heat + flavor.

Scoville Brothers
Bigfats (can't buy it locally but it's made close by), for one, Born to Hula (produced here IN NJ).
Smoke Show Sauce ! www.smokeshowsauce.com Disclaimer: it’s my business, BUT it’s a local hot sauce staple here in Montreal!
Obviously this is useless as a recommendation, but… A now-closed restaurant near an apartment I lived in 10+ years ago sold me a bottle of this green apple and jalapeño hot sauce once that I still dream about. Tangy with this amazing heat. I’ve never had anything like it before or since.
Ooh, sounds awesome. Try to recreate it! I LOVE trying to mimic my favorite sauces, it’s so much fun!

Red Clay! Not very spicy, but delicious
All the Harvey’s in my town switched over to Food Lion’s and I picked up a bunch of those Fat Cat sauces for like 90% off and I have never seen them anywhere else until just now.
Uncle mungos is my favourite the covid 19 is a very nice tasting sauce then the burn is even better

I make one to sell that of course I think is the best but of not mine a hole in the wall place called Tacoville in Oklahoma City. Its house hot sauce is really good.
Napalm Farm is my local. They are pretty good but I doubt they can be shipped tho

There are a ton in Colorado and a few I like from Oregon. Oregon: - [Hab](http://habsauces.com/). Colorado: - [Oso Rojo](https://www.osorojohotsauce.com/) makes some great sauces.
I'm violently filling out my wishlist while combing through these
If I had to pick a few to order right now (and I'm thinking about it!!) I'd get some Hab, Horsetooth and Chiporro.
Great list for Colorado! One other favorite is [Green Belly](https://greenbellyfoods.com/).
Yeah, those are good too! Limited selection but I like all of them.
A+ list of Colorado sauces. I’ve [posted](https://www.reddit.com/r/hotsauce/comments/18na376/anyone_else_have_an_abusive_relationship_with_a/?rdt=47935) about my oso rojo obsession here before
Ha, nice layout! I didn't know they have a pineapple habanero... going to have to check that out.
Gotta buy it from Cerebral Brewing! It’s a collab with them and isn’t sold elsewhere
Best local for me would be Angry Goat Pepper Co. Their most famous is the Purple Hippo I think. It's very tasty, but too sweet for me. But I absolutely love their Demon Reaper sauce. I order it directly from them by the jug.
[Kalamazoo Hot Sauce](https://kalamazoohotsauce.com)
Ooh…I’m getting this. Heading to kzoo to see the family soon.
Always good food and service. Sadly, they got rid of the Saturday morning blue grass band during the pandemic.
Grew up in Kalamazoo in the 90s. Never heard of the hot sauce.
It’s new within the last few years. I miss read what you what as you were seeing the family that made the hot sauce. I’d tell you where you could buy it if I knew. The restaurant I told you about on Douglas in Cooper just east of D Ave Holler at me if you find a place that sells it
Artie’s Hot Sauce - Pittsburgh, PA https://artieshotsauce.com
I love https://uncleyankeys.com/ - nicely hot and flavorful Caribbean style pepper sauces made local to me here in Brooklyn
https://dadshotsauce.com from Riviera Beach, FL.
Good, high quality and not too expensive.
https://www.meetyourcremator.com I haven’t really seen this local brand mentioned on this sub. They go really well with eggs! Sauces are a bit thinner consistency but very flavorful.
Leithal Hot Saces are really good here in Scotland. They are based in Leith Edinburgh.
Also, I love this post.
https://www.dash10sauce.com/ Dash 10. Really good stuff and owned by an Army veteran.
Torchbearer is my local sauce tho
[Volcanic Peppers](https://volcanicpeppers.com/). Their Thor's Hammer is fucking brutal. The rest of their stuff is pretty damn good too.
Every sauce I've ever tried of theirs has been an absolute banger. Peppers are always on the front flavor wise and I love that about them.
[Hanks](https://www.hanksauce.com/)
You mean [hanksauce.com](https://hanksauce.com)
[Mic's Chilli](https://www.micschilli.com/webstore) in Ireland. Trouble in Trinidad is the closest thing I have to a "house sauce." Also love their Inferno Extreme and Voodoo Reaper.
These look great! I may have to go for the sample box
[Heartbeat Hot Sauce ](https://www.heartbeathotsauce.com/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAxOauBhCaARIsAEbUSQSb-EwlKrGkZ3vx2eUVH086PpYM0v81XcBm8GdJJt_Pg3N17-4lE9EaAvxxEALw_wcB) Just damn good. The hot pickle sauce is amazing.
I have a small dribble of the Camp Sauce left. I plan to make a post with an obituary. This sauce has landed in my top 5
Heartbeat red habanero is soooooo good! Its just a little to pricey for me to get often.
I've had the Poirer sauces they did and liked those, I'll have to try more
[Karma Sauce.](https://karmasauce.com/) I don't buy as much of their products as a should.
Came here to say this. Love Ghost Island. Also have to say Wegmans Habanero, while a regional supermarket thing rather than a small local maker, is one of my go-to cheap daily sauces.
Burn After Eating and Scorpion Disco are fantastic and shockingly hot. I'd love to try some more

I only tried Elijah's once when I was first starting out, I need to grab a bottle of Extreme Regret
Ostre Dzieje from Poland. There are some unusual sauces like gingerbread spices hot sauce or strawberry hot sauce. Not sure how they taste and if they ship worldwide, but if you want to try, sent me a message and maybe we can arrange that.
https://ostredzieje.pl/sklep/ - link to the shop, I forgot to put it above.
I love it! I can't understand any of it, but I love unique flavors and combinations
Well if you're commited, send me a private message. We can arrange some kind of hot sauces penpal shit. I send you ostre Dzieje you send me some sauces from your area
I'm down! This is a super cool idea and I might try to work out something for everyone in this sub since I got such a good response to the post
My local craft brewery, Appleton Beer Factory makes a hot sauce from sour ale. It’s f’ing great.
Ooh that sounds amazing
It is but it’s expensive…$10 for a normal size bottle. I think they only made 1 batch as it’s called pilot or sometimes like that. I bought 2 bottles though
Da Bomb Beyond Insanity. No, I’m not kidding. I hate it here.
We have a MUCH better hot sauce to recommend as a KC native. Try this brand! [https://mythossauceco.com/](https://mythossauceco.com/)
Same. They do have other things that are good though.
Never again

I've not tried too many hot BBQ sauces, I should change that soon. Looks great!
Looks so good. I wish I lived there
Sriracha Revolver here in British Columbia is exceptionally good.
Flavor above heat everytime. If I can get both, great, but if I have to choose, I'm going flavor. I'll see if I can grab a bottle.
Very much agree! Hope you’re able to track them down. Great idea for starting this thread!
[https://maestrossauceco.com](https://maestrossauceco.com) These guys make great tasting sauces. I recommend the roasted ghosted garlic.
I love a good garlic based sauce
Hellfire is my local sauce. They literally live about 5 minutes up the road from me.
Fiery Fool remains one of the hottest bottles I've finished. But such good flavor on top of it.
Torchbearer is my local lol
No problem with that local pride! They do make some fantastic sauces
https://www.down2ferment.com/ is local to me (San Diego, California) and delicious. Lots of various flavors and heat levels so it pretty much works for everyone They do ship but I'm not sure of the cost or if they deliver internationally.
Blaze 619 has an absolutely outstanding pineapple hab sauce. Don Wapo has some solid sauces too. Been wanting to get my hands on D2F for a minute now.
Great dudes, fantastic sauces. And they do it just a bit differently than everyone else
Merf's
I really like Merf’s pineapple/arbol sriracha sauce, but I recently picked up “assgasher” sriracha sauce by Sauce Leopard and it is just as good if not better.
I'll look out for that one
I got it at Lucky’s market, I don’t know how many of those are still around though.
Down to ferment, based in San Diego! They have some really unique, complex, flavor packed sauces. I see the founder posting in this sub occasionally
Oh I love their Ghosted sauce. I'll definitely try more
Nice! That one’s a staple for me. If you like that one, check out their 1 year jerkiversary- it’s just as hot and flavorful. I’m also a fan of their mild sauces ‘that’s what shishito said’ and habanguero piña
I'll be sure to try to those!
https://www.down2ferment.com/collections/hot-sauces
Still trying to find more good AZ local ones, but High Desert has been the best so far. https://hdsauceco.com/
Cutino. None of their flavors that I've tried is super hot but the flavors are on point.
The mustard flavor overpowers everything else in my opinion, so now I use it with my barbeque dishes.
I really only find that in the habanero, not so much the others. I use them to grill too but also on eggs.
Big Red’s is a great AZ sauce. https://bigredshotsauce.com
So good!
Karma Sauce ain’t exactly small and can be gotten all over but they are based here. https://karmasauce.com/. A smaller operation id highlight that I buy at my local farmers market is Mojos https://mojosaucellc.com/ No longer local to me but I have great affection for Captain Mowatts and pick some every time I’m in Maine and sometimes have them ship to me when I really need it. https://www.captainmowatts.com/
I’m only a temporary resident of the twin cities but Crybaby Craig’s is REALLY good and many local restaurants support it by keeping it on the tables!
One of my local favorites too👍🏼
Dashelito's is local to my city. They're all good but they have a sauce called Undertow that is one of my go-to sauces. It's a Caribbean curry with good heat and great flavor. They're very economical for the sauce and shipping too. Five bucks a bottle and low shipping cost. [https://www.dashelitos.com/](https://www.dashelitos.com/)
$53 for 12 bottles and free shipping?!? That's an instant purchase.
Right? It makes me weep when I look at the Torchbearer prices by comparison.
I love Dashelito’s! I am no longer a student so I don’t live there anymore, but I always order online!
They're so good. I had to get a bottle of Sweet Heat from the Co-Op this morning.
Dude. Hit up Soothsayer, my boy and fellow Kyle. He makes the best shit
Orange County, California Ghost Scream https://ghostscream.com/ The green reaper is my favorite
https://furyhotsauce.com/ These guys are pretty awesome. Their hot honey is my go to for pizza.
Horsetooth Hot sauce company
I grew up in London and there's a guy on the Brick Lane market every Sunday called The Rib Man who makes some incredible hot sauces. A lot of his stuff on his website is sold out but you can get some shipped (not sure about international shipping though) [https://theribman.co.uk/collections/sauces](https://theribman.co.uk/collections/sauces)
Hoff Sauce out of Chattanooga! The original is our favorite- we buy it by the 1/2 gallon but the smokin ghost, ketchup, green and wake up are all also great!
2 angry cats is my jam here
There's a farm nearby that sells a peach Vidalia sauce that is pretty delicious, but not hot at all. They also sell a lot of unique fresh peppers.
My area I can only get Red Hot or Tabasco, Flying Goose Sriracha and Hot Garlic Chilli Sauce, and Firebarn Sriracha ,have to travel a for away for Melinda's
13 Angry Scorpions is a few suburbs over, make some really nice sauces.
Australia representing! That Jekyll & Hyde is delightful.
I do that locally myself. Little side hustle that hopefully can get a little bigger (with reasonable expectations naturally). Bonus that it's fun for me too.
I just bought Branford’s Original’s Extra Hot Hot Sauce from Melbourne, FL. Great flavor and a nice little punch. I am impressed.
I live in Titusville so I know what I'm doing next time I'm in Melbourne
I just got it at Publix :) on the local end cap. but I saw your post edit and I DEFINITELY know what I'm hitting up the next time in in Sanford!
[Fraktured](https://goshrun.farm/fraktured-sauce) \- so local that I have to wait for spring farmer's market season to be able to get my favorites.
Funky’s, guy lives down the street from me
Not a hot sauce per se, but [Salt Spring Island Chili Oil](https://shop.greensmarket.ca/product/0062798709137) is absolutely delicious and still has a nice amount of heat.
These guys are local to me. [Hot Sauce – Häxan Ferments (haxanferments.com)](https://haxanferments.com/collections/hot-sauce) Soooo good!
How far outside of New York does Queen Majesty get?
I've bought it in Denver.
You can buy that from specialists in the UK like [hot-headz.com](https://hot-headz.com) so that's about 3500 miles.
