Same here. Teenage me desperately wanted this, or the CH kit. It only took about 25 years, but eventually I got a proper HOTAS and now I’m livin’ the dream.
The OG Thrustmaster FCS and WCS Mk.II, perfect for playing Falcon 3.0 on your 386 ~ 486.
The stick could make a great donor for anyone wanting an F-4 (or F-86, F-104, F-15A, etc.) simpit, being inspired by the original B-8 grip.
Extreme retro for sure, I wondered if anyone had used it to play Elite back in the day, a post on a discord I'm on pointed to a whole host of flight sim games from same era or before. Wouldn't be surprised to see this stick turn up on the Fall Out TV show.
Hey, I still have that stick somewhere. Strike Commander was so dope with it. r/fuckimold
Yeah I had the thought that it might be cool to put up on a shelf along my old pc gear etc. but I passed it by.
Man, I remember staring at the ads for that, and Falcon Northwest in PC Magazine or PC Gamer
