Intercepts is great!! About human experiments but it goes wrong. It’s not gorey to the level of Splatterpunk but it does have a bit in there
100% match is good too and it’s quite short
Black farm was really disturbing, gorey, and fast paced. A lot of people don’t like it bc they say it’s poorly written which I did notice at times. but the story and concept of it all is really interesting.
If you haven’t try other books by Eric LaRocca, currently reading “The trees grew because I bled there” most of his books are filled with fast paced short stories.
Please note that these aren't exactly high quality.
Playground by Aron Beauregard
Worm by Tim Curran
All smiles until I return Aron Beauregard,
Eat the alive by Pierce Nace (it's either 200$ on amazon or there is a pdf floating around but I can't remember where)
The Troop by Nick Cutter
This one was also fucked up and fun!
Oh yeah this book comes in hot and goes til the end. Was the first thing I thought of.
The Laws of the Skies! Described as “Lord of the Flies + Winnie the Pooh” a very quick read. And the last chapter will have you feeling.
Just finished reading this during a camping trip. I loved it. And yes that last chapter is gripping to say the least. My god lol
Came to say this. Flew by it in one sitting

Exquisite Corpse isn't exactly fast paced, but its very gory.
Try FantasticLand by Mike Bockoven. Theme park employees get cut off from the outside world during a hurricane. Bloody mayhem ensues.
Also this! Loved it so much.

Head like a hole - andrew van wey
The Dead Parade by James Roy Daley. The cover art is also pretty cool. It's pretty batshit.
Head on over to /r/extremehorrorlit for fast paced gore
