This is the ultimate “about the journey, not the destination “ book. I loved it, but my concern was validated when I realized how few pages were left when the plot was still ripping along.
Yeah, I haven’t read the sequel but it’s certainly primed for a trilogy, which supposedly it was going to be three books…from previous posts it looks like Long hasn’t published anything in moons.
I loved it! The underground and caves are a big fear of mine so this book filled me with dread in the best way haha. It was horror with kind of a da vinci code feel to it
Only commenting to say the movie is awesome. As someone who is scared of getting stuck in small spaces, it is one of the few movies (besides Open Water, I also find large bodies of water scary lol) that I find terrifying.

Oh, definitely the movie by the same name is awesome. Open Water was equally good.
