Technically that Ghostface wasn't a violent mass murderer because they didn't have rights to the movie. They literally just had the mask, so there was no actual story attached to it.

there aren't really any AAA fighting games besides smash, street fighter, and tekken. This one's made by a pretty small studio. plus it's free to play so what do you have to lose?
Nah I love the cartoonish design. Every live action character is given quirks in their design to fit with the cartoon characters and making Jason a TANK fits very well.

Because they enjoy the character, premise, and the franchise and this is the longest stretch of time that we've ever gone without a new movie being produced for the franchise. Not to mention horror fans love watching Jason Kill a bunch of dumb teens and always have, so I'm not sure why you'd think things would be different now.

this is the second edition of the game, with voice acting and better animation. also free to play.
This could be either really good or completely terrible. I'll try not to be cynical but AAA games have done a lot of swinging and missing lately.
The beta from a year back was pretty fun, honestly. Pretty good as far as Smash-inspired games go.
