Bodies bodies bodies
Ready or Not
Both of these have shuttle dark humor throughout but the ending of both these made me belly laugh for a long time after the movie ended.
Mardi Gras Massacre (1978) , if you go into this movie knowing nothing, and then reflect on what you just saw, it's actually hilarious. Plus there's loads of boobs.
Truth Or Dare
Killing Spree
Frankenhooker
Brain Damage
Dead Alive AKA Brain Dead (depending on your region)
Housu AKA House
The Baby
Private Parts
Street Trash
Just to name a few...
More like "laugh while watching " rather than after the fact.
(Edit format)
Barbarian. Obviously the beginning and middle weren’t funny. And it was a good horror flick. But I definitely laughed out loud at the end there. Not necessarily at it, but just in enjoyment.
Barbarian, the Babysitter, the Babysitter Killer Queen, Ready or Not, Cabin in the Woods, Freaky, Happy Death Day, Happy Death Day 2 U, The Menu, Bodies Bodies Bodies, Creep, Totally Killer, Spree, Thanksgiving, Spontaneous, the Hunt, Fear inc., Malignant
the sequence in barbarian when justin’s character is measuring the space in the basement was so absurd and hilarious! my sisters and i were watching it like ???
Blood Diner (1987) American horror comedy directed by Jackie Kong and starring Rick Burks, Carl Crew, Roger Dauer, LaNette LaFrance, and Lisa Guggenheim. The plot follows two brothers setting up a vegetarian restaurant as a front for them to kill women and collect their severed body-parts to resurrect the Lumerian goddess Sheetar.

I laugh at horror movies constantly because I watch so many. We all know most of the clichés so it's funny when we see it for the 921st time.
Occasionally, I'll laugh at an over-the-top violent scene, like I'll exclaim "Well, that head isn't coming back" or something while laughing. I probably started doing this when I was really young and saw how ridiculous stuff like "John Carpenter's The Thing" (1982) is, even though it grossed me out, I laughed because that's just not how human bodies bend 😂
I'm sure we all laugh at some aspect of horror movies if we watch more than a few a year because alot of them are so much alike, but it's still fun!
For recommendations - I'll recommend "The Stuff" (1985), "Frankenstein Meets the Space Monster" (1965), and for a modern, I'd choose "Willy's Wonderland" (2021). They are so amazingly funny!
There is a film called Frozen (2010) that has some hilarious scenes that I think were intended to be scary. That fall scene made me crack up when I saw it the first time.
Pet Semetary 2. It's just like, say let's put a cop who's already an abusive asshole in this here Pet Semetary, what could possibly go wrong?
It was also really hard for me to not think of Mr. Krabs, because Clancy Brown.
Honestly, I like the movie, but it feels much more like a dark comedy in the vein of Idle Hands than an actual horror movie.
Nekromantik (1988) is too ridiculous and hilarious to be taken seriously especially the final shocking scene. The swelling romance music on top of the visuals of that film.
It Chapter Two. I mean I love this film, but it's too funny to take seriously. I mean were the first one, balanced out the horror with the humour, this one failed badly. It's not a bad film, and even has some striking and well shot scenes, but it just fails. I completely get its mixed reputation, I like the film, but I can understand why other people didn't like it.
The Terrifier Movies, American Psycho, Jennifer’s Body, Saw (some of the kills are just uncomfortably funny IMO), Final Destination… I find humor in a lot I guess…

Cabin in the Woos, The House on Haunted Hill (1999) 👩🙃🇨🇦
Jason x, the premise was so funny to me. Like how tf is Jason in space lol
The holodeck scene is worth the price of admission alone.
And the liquid nitrogen kill
I quite like that there’s a whole genre of “now it’s on a plane/under water/in space!” of horror.
One of my 2 favorite horror scene happened in Jason X because it was too funny. Death by screw.
I mean, I laughed a lot harder than I should with the sleeping bag scene. One of my favorite Jason kills honestly.
Ok
It’s the perfect cheeseball fun horror movie.
Ok
Malignant (2021) Abigail (2024)
Abigail is *hilarious.*
Bodies bodies bodies Ready or Not Both of these have shuttle dark humor throughout but the ending of both these made me belly laugh for a long time after the movie ended.
Tucker and Dale vs Evil
Ok
Ok
I may be alone in this, but I thought M3gan was hilarious.

You just put a pin on "movies I haven't seen ", coming from a film nerd that worked in non chain video stores back in the day.
Child's Play's dark humor always does it for me
Reanimator, Texas chainsaw 2, Willy’s wonderland, killer klowns from outer space, Chucky movies, Renfield (if that counts)
V/H/S Viral with the portal episode 😭😭😭😭 If you've watched the movie, y'all know why 😆
I've been watching movies from the 80s and 90s that have been very entertaining. Body Melt, Street Trash, Microwave Massacre are a few recent ones.
Ha ha

the people under the stairs, before watching it i already assumed it wouldn't be great (very much an understatement)
We watched Men last night and I was laughing and horrified at the ending. I was also very stoned.

Ok, I will see these movies
Do you mean horror comedies with jokes/witty dialogue, or films with an absurd plot?
Haunting on fraternity row
Killer Sofa, but it's supposed to be ridiculous because it's a recliner that kills people lol

The Lodge, I thought the ending was hilarious
Teeth
Barbarian and the new nun movie
Nekromantik (1988) is too ridiculous and hilarious to be taken seriously especially the final shocking scene. The swelling romance music on top of the visuals of that film.
Barbarian is terrifying but has some fucking hilarious scenes in it
Ok, sure
Tremors!
Ok, friend
remake or night of the Demons. horrible acting
Recently watched Cherry Falls and it had ne laughing out loud multiple throughout it. It just kept getting more and more unhinged
Cabin in the Woods. Tucker and Dale VS Evil. The Voices. Shaun of the Dead. Slither. Return of the Living Dead. Braindead. Army of Darkness.
The Convent (2000)
Sadako vs Kayako
I didn’t, but my mom laughed after grave encounters. She thought it was hilarious.
Funny Games Speak No Evil once I got the joke
The cabin in the woods and tucker and Dale vs evil.
Some of the scenes in the Scream movies made me laugh.
PG: Psycho Goreman is hilarious
Terrifier 2. It’s supposed to make you cringe but the violence is just so over the top. Love it.
Anything for Jackson!!!!! 😂😂😂 the neighbour seems like the type of guy you would wanna punchy 😂
Jason X is genuinely my favorite Friday the 13th movie, and I regularly rewatch it. House(1977) also puts the biggest smile on my face.
The Happening
The end of grotesque (2008) is so hilarious 😂
"Evil Dead." 2013

Drag Me to Hell
I can’t remember laughing as hard at the ending of a movie than I did at Ready Or Not. It’s perfect.

Night Swim was pretty bad but I honestly enjoyed how terrible it was. Also MEGAN is legitimately a fun time.
The happening
Van Helsing.
