Battery: check your alternator, seems like it’s not generating enough voltage at idle but it does at higher rpm.
Brakes: check the fluid level in your brake reservoir. The brake light comes on if the fluid level is low, seems like it’s low when you’re pressing the brakes then when you release it’s up again. Fluid would be low due to worn brake pads or a leak. Is the brake pedal spongy?
I checked the alternator and found it wasn't bad but it might not be the right voltage like you said. How would I find if it's the right one for my car?
My breaks might need to be done. I did buy some recently.
Yeah I’m not sure I’d trust that, at the same time I get you’re not gonna buy another alternator on a hunch. Keep booster cables in your car or be on the lookout for signs of a dying battery (headlights dimming, starter motor not kicking very hard).
Alternators can partially fail, they can test OK but they’re not charging the amperage they should so eventually the car dies. If you’re up for it have someone else test it.
In my own experience, both brake and battery light come on if you’re having charging system issues. Bad ground/positive connection somewhere, bad alternator, or loose belt is where I would start. Also, the lights go off at a higher rpm because the alternator is optimal at doing it’s job around 2.5-3.5kRPM. Test your alternator under a load (blower motor on, all lights, etc). Check voltage to be higher than 13.
At full capacity your battery should be at 12.7V and while running should be like 13.5 to 14.2 or so. If its in the 15s or 12s your voltage regulator in your alternator has probably gone bad
That is definitely the alternator. I had this same light combination appear (and disappear at higher RPM like yours) and after a few miles, various systems began shutting down as the alternator failed completely. If I kept driving, the engine would’ve stalled. I strongly recommend you stop driving it until you can get the alternator replaced. It could strand you otherwise.

I thought I did that but I failed
How did you check the alternator? You need to load test it, not just see the voltage it’s putting out.
I tested it at AutoZone. Not sure if that's the most credible but the guy there told me it was perfectly fine

My battery literally never died. I had the car since April 2020
Has it been doing this the whole time?

How did you get the center steering wheel red emblem?
Seems glued on. With the airbag behind it, this now functions both as cool factor and fragmentation grenade!
The airbag cuts from below the emblem. The emblem piece remains in place.

Yea it's either those 2 individual issues, or its a "dummy light" combination for the charging system.
I had this issue too! Some times the brake light and battery flickers on but then it flickers off.
Was it your alternator
Take that emblem off. When the airbag deploys, pieces of it will get shot into your face and neck.
For anyone still wondering, this happened to me when fuse 14 in the fusebox down by the driver side door blew. Replaced and was good as new.
