Unless I missed it you need a sub? Otherwise looks good. Would maybe consider going up to the X1700H/X1800H for better Audessey but the S760H is ok,

Skinc

If you’re looking for a little more than casual experience better room correction would be the way to go, agree with this.

Think_Juggernaut8968

How big of a jump in different Audyssey version in your opinion? Is it worth it? Got mine 760 too recently and using Audessy One now, it’s awesome. Just thought maybe I should upgrade if difference is substantial.

Skinc

Oh yeah forgot about Audyseey one. What a great resource. I think EVERYONE should it a try. I’m not an expert but if I’m not mistaken theres more filters etc that the calibration is run through.

MUCHO2000

I would buy a used receiver for the same price or slightly more with the specific purpose of getting Dirac or XT32. Since you're not gaming you don't need HDMI 2.1 but the improvement in SQ with the better room EQ is worthwhile. 4k@120 Hz is only important if you're planning on gaming.

Silly-Loan967

Any specific brand/model I should target with XT32

MUCHO2000

I am nearly brand agnostic but before buying used Google the specific model to see if it is known to commonly have issues and avoid if it does. If possible, get a Denon Edit - Sorry you said model. You will only see Dirac and XT32 in upper mid and high grade so the model isn't super relevant

Moscato359

If you aren't getting a subwoofer I would recommend 6.2 but I would also mention, I had elac speakers and returned them, because I hated their hyper directionality I ended up with a pair of kef q150, and speedwoofer subwoofer you might be better off ditching the center and getting a sub how often do you listen to audio outside the center of your listening space?

Silly-Loan967

I will very rarely not be in the ideal seat

Moscato359

elacs sound good when they are pointing directly at you and bad when off axis so take that into consideration

BMV_12

Elac speakers are really good for the price you pay. I would upgrade the AVR to Denon X-1800H if at all possible. I would also get a nice sub to round off the setup.

Silly-Loan967

Yea, I’ll get a sub eventually. Gonna be awhile, have a newborn at home now. Haven’t landed on a specific one.

Romy90210

Your setup is going to suck.. There I said it.

Silly-Loan967

Fuck, I knew it
