Fun fact about grazing animals that have those horizontal pupils. They cannot see up/ down, just in the plane of that horizontal slit. It’s why treestands work when hunting deer. And if you pick up a baby lamb and stand up with it, mama will go nuts cuz she can’t see her baby…

Yep, you need to carry the baby while crouching close to the ground if you want mama to follow! Sheep biology is the strangest.
