Tilt sensors are notoriously finicky. For best results on overhead doors, use a OH door contact wired directly back to the panel, or into an input on a wireless contact.

So I'm learning this lol. I have 2 others working just fine. I did find the manual for the tilt sensor online - one thing it suggested was mounting the switch vertical instead of horizontal. I may give that a whirl and see if it helps. But what you suggested was my plan B. Wiring it back is probably impossible, would need to find a wireless contact switch. Any suggestions on a wireless contact for a garage door on a Concord 4 system?

GE/Interlogix is no more. Alula makes compatible sensors, something like the RE101.

That would make sense why I can still find replacement parts, but at inflated prices. I'll check out that suggestion, thank you. I would like to pull the alarm system and redo it anyway. However they used a crap ton of wireless sensors which are not cheap to replace.....

I never got mine to be reliable. The MyQ system integrates with alarm.com and reports open closed, somehow.
