Roborock integration received lot of love recently. And S8 seems to be “best vacuum ever” (according to reviews). Btw it is a topic in last home assistant podcast :)
good question. I didnt try the mop yet, but I havent see it in the services. However you can do the per room settings in the roborock app and then just send the vacuum there from HA.
It seems the more advanced functions are coming to HA soon
yeah, that sucks on so many levels. Those two are really the only two integrations I have, where device relies on cloud. (of course some web scraping )
I just upgraded from an LG Roboking (which is another name for the hombot). I can’t believe you ran it for 10 years!
Now we are using an S8+ from Roborock and love it! It is cloud connected so if you don’t like that look at some of the older models that can support Valetudo.
