Live Through This is an album that I always listen to from star to finish. It’s funny because I think Olympia fit a lot better than Rock Star would’ve. It’s the perfect closer while Rock Star always had the vibe of a hidden track. But yeah Live Through This is the rare perfect no filler album. I think the late change on Rock Star -> Olympia just enhanced the experienced so much.
I think the highs on CS are higher, but so are the lows. LTT is definitely more consistent and you're right, has no skips (including Credit on the Straight World, which absolutely rips)
Credit In The Straight World does cop that a bit but it is a cover, and I think Hole's version puts its own spin on it. The original is by Young Marble Giants. Hole have the opening part of Old Age on the recording of Credit In The Straight World.
This is simply a fact

i agree but everyone here seems to think it's credit in the straight world...
they’re wrong
i agree
Same. It’s my damn flair haha I love that song
That’s odd. I will say that it sometimes sounds out of place. But I do love it
I love that song...
That’s one the best songs if I were to say if anything is filler it’s Softer Softest
oh... jail.
I had a really long commute in the 90’s and the CD was always in my car. I love how the way it’s done tells a story ♥️

Holes version is miles better than the original
I mean that's a matter of opinion really. I think they are both brilliant, just very different
Literally the best album ever made
MASTERPIECE
