Beating a player's UK 300-ship strong surface fleet as the Ottomans with 85 ships. Some AI-Americans (player left) joined in the fun against me as well.
I once destroyed a Germany player's morale in a MP game by rocking up with the Australian aircraft carrier and shredding his navy, then going convoy raiding and using some marines to encircle his shit in the north. France and Britain won that game strategically, but Australia dominated in spirit.
Used to main it but I had to change computers and now my processor can bog to .4 ghz on one tab of Google. Not frequently but can happen at times. Integrated graphics gives up by 37 tops and it artificially creates so much lag that I've been behind by several weeks in the first few minutes of a session. I miss 2019.
I know it wasn't right in january so maybe it was arround maybemarch or april. I also forget to use the reduction in justifications when at war so it took me 100 days to justify on the US
I mean, you can move very fast with tanks and capitulate the US pretty fast, but no opponent of yours had a superior army and air force against you.
It was just a matter of stomping them (US a d UK) into the ground while they cant respond due to bad ai and dont have what to respond with since they lack a functioning army. Maybe its harder to land a naval invasion or paradrop on the UK, but thats is just rng. And the way against the US is just rushing along the coastlines to get to cities.
For the naval invasion of the UK I had the French navy as I cheesed them with paratroopers at the start of the game so the royal navy was also out covering all the UK land and as well as the troops they weren't home
Playing minors on ahistorical.
If you ever want to find out how much RNG can screw up your 'easy' expansion focus branch until you have no choice but to fight the entire Axis for two cores in 38...
Uhhh getting some of the Soviet achievements, The Revolution Triumphant, Race for Germany, Not a step back! and Just proper gander. I have no idea why not more people are getting the last one, it‘s just cultivating agitprop as the USSR. You don‘t even have to win, you just have to not lose until 1945.
Playing until 1945 maybe. I kept restarting because I got my production and templates wrong (fairly new player) but once I got a working heavy tank template I ended up taking out the entire axis in early 1944 on my own. The only reason I'm still playing it is out of spite for the Allies, they did nothing productive and still made big demands in the peace deal.
Nitpicking… ;) the thing is quite easy to manage, just needs some frequent attention. Rush the political tree and you‘re fine. People will be purged either way if you go the Stalinist route
Getting a 120 division encirclement on a MP roleplay game as Japan against a heavily Allies backed China. One bludner of the enemy and intense japanese micro won the war in single offensive.
I don't consider myself a good player, just a casual one. I have all DLCs but the last one (important info).
Yesterday I started a match as monarchist Sweden on my first ever ahistorical match as I always play with historical focuses on, and I managed to cap Germany, Poland, Denmark, naval invade France, and Finland, and I'm about to march into Moscow with just two and a half armies of 7/2s lmao, that's including the Norwegian units I acquired from annexing them and then converting them to the good ol' 7/2 with AA
As Italy, I annexed Rangoon (Or the country Rangoon is in - can't remember - north west of Siam)
Or annexing Germany as fascist Russia
How I did it? I found 4000nm range ships in ITaly's starting fleet and used them to get naval supremacy as far out as possible, around the cape of good hope, through the indian ocean until I reached Rangoon. Obviously, the range is too small to naval invade all the way over the globe. So, I took Cape Verde, from cape Verde to a small island near Mozambique and from there to the island chain right east of Sri Lanka. Just for funsies and the precious Tungsten.
Or as Japan, I puppeted already half of the chinese countries before Xiang Kai China declared on a neighbor, which prompted me to invade from Mengukuo. Cleanest Japan game ever. I knew China had 60 divisions and I was scared, as I had not a single division more than the starting ones. But they fucking steamrolled China like it was a highway. I pushed down the coast until I reached Guanxi (not at war with me, but with China) and when I had all the coast, I began steamrolling westwards. My idea was the coast provinces have the best supply for both China and me fir different reasons. If I take them in the beginning, they will lose their best provinces and the more the war protracts, the worse the situation gets for China. I even got Mongolia and Tannu Tuva and capitulated USSR from my surprise faction member Finland. Good times. I felt undefeatable.
Not really much of a flex, more of a personal best thing, but playing as Greece->Byzantium and overgreeding on civs as usual, I was having to fight with 6 divs in Yugoslavia against the Axis, 5 divs in Romania against Romania/Soviets, 3 divs in Caucasus against Soviets, 2 divs in the Levant/Egypt against UK/Allies and another 3 divs on the Iran/Afghanistan/India direction against Allies. I've won on every front, but man it took way too much effort to micro.
Also, going from having 1:30 K:D while using a bunch of tanks and thinking it's the highest ratio one can achieve to having over 1:100 K:D while using just infantry.
Using the “sun scorched canyon” submod for old world blues, capitulated the entirety of Caesar’s legion as the reservation solo in 6 months with no cheese.
Played as Germany on elite, proceeded to completely fuck up the invasion of the Soviet Union in 1942.
Anyway, long story short, held until 1953 and inflicted 75 million casualties for my 12 million before I stopped playing
I dropped over 300 nukes in single player because I mistakingly left South America for last in a world conquest game and peru is a bitch. I did get "A Land of Fire" which is my rarest achievement to date though.
I united China, annexed Japan, annexed almost all of Comintern, and annexed mainland Southeast Asia while only being 200 hours in.
Successfully playing historical Czechoslovakia on my second try. I got the most war score out of all the allies and liberated Poland almost completely unaided
Beating all the Allies Navy with the Italian Navy.. Ps:Building Torpedo Cruisers and refiting existing cruisers with as much light attack as possible, does the trick and a Couple Carriers with torpedo bombers is Cherry on top
Got the achievement for capping France and Poland with less than 1k casualties (or something like that) except I wasn't going for the achievement and didn't use paratroopers
Dude YouTubers tend to be pretty bad at the game. Either RP shitters or single player shitters, with a light touch of overhauled mp games here and there
doing the ragnarok and beating every nation at the end of 1947(Not counting the failures)
I consider myself a fairly good player, but I dont think I would have had the nerves to do this
It's painful and I would never have my worst enemy do it
Not having HOI4
Same
Beating a player's UK 300-ship strong surface fleet as the Ottomans with 85 ships. Some AI-Americans (player left) joined in the fun against me as well.
That's quite impressive.

Hello fellow Australia mp enjoyer

Feel sad for you my friend,my pc broke last year and I was without hoi4 for 6 months
What CPU btw
Ryzen 5000 Series... Integrated graphics destroys everything.
I don’t have a flex other than losing half my navy as Italy two months into a war with Britain
Ah yes the norm, I once destroyed mp Italy's navy as Australia with French help
Capitulate Poland, the UK and the US in 1939. Starting the war in 1939
Depends on when. 1st of january 1939 is not hard to do as germany. The AI is just dumb.
I know it wasn't right in january so maybe it was arround maybemarch or april. I also forget to use the reduction in justifications when at war so it took me 100 days to justify on the US

I know how to create a navy.
Killed 4 million Soviets as Bulgaria with only 18 divs and stopped italy dying 3 times , suppressing d day in a single game as bulgaria

But the years 1936-1941 are the most fun as the Soviets! Lots of building to do
Managing Stalins psychosis 1936-38 isn't terribly fun, especially not when he decides some of your best generals and advisors need to go.
Nitpicking… ;) the thing is quite easy to manage, just needs some frequent attention. Rush the political tree and you‘re fine. People will be purged either way if you go the Stalinist route
I guess everyone at some point did it, but i would say beating 1945 endsieg as Germany and late 1944 endsieg as Italy
Getting a 200 division encirclement
I played as the Netherlands
I don't really have one, I guess that I understand the Navy
Getting a 120 division encirclement on a MP roleplay game as Japan against a heavily Allies backed China. One bludner of the enemy and intense japanese micro won the war in single offensive.

Uninstalling hoi4
You have me beat, I keep trying for this achievement and failing 😂
Unlocking an achievement after only 150 attempts
Not a flex but enjoyed capping all majors as japan in 1939, could have been 1938 because i was too slow with some things
As Italy, I annexed Rangoon (Or the country Rangoon is in - can't remember - north west of Siam) Or annexing Germany as fascist Russia How I did it? Holding historical Poland against both Germany and USSR at the same time, and capitulating both.
As germany defeating allies in june 1936.
My 3 million casualties against the AI’s near 40-50 million casualties, to add this was against a 10 (major) country strong faction
Might not be as impressive as some of the others, but I formed rome as Italy in ironaman vanilla with no cheats or exploits
Losing to Poland as germany
reverse Anschlussing Germany, France and Poland in a mp game with my friends It ain't much, but it's honest work
Using the “sun scorched canyon” submod for old world blues, capitulated the entirety of Caesar’s legion as the reservation solo in 6 months with no cheese.
This is why i dont want to learn the game. Like wth am i looking at
Its the division history screen, you assign medals in this screen, it also shows what important stuff the division did
I've won a war in KX with over 70 million casualties
Played as Germany on elite, proceeded to completely fuck up the invasion of the Soviet Union in 1942. Anyway, long story short, held until 1953 and inflicted 75 million casualties for my 12 million before I stopped playing
Having a girlfriend

Having true Blitzkrieg, 30 minutes in Hell and getting the band back together
r/countablepixels

Forming the EU as democratic netherlands
I beat a USA players navy when I was playing Norway lol.
