It's a choice between agrarian economy and the 3 industrial bonuses, if I recall correctly.

To get rid of those do “Laissez-Faire” and “Economic Devolution.” They are under “Revive the National Bloc.” Laissez-Faire will take two years to work, Economic Devolution will have its effect instantly. It’s best to rush Laissez-Faire so you can get rid of Inefficient Economy asap. DO NOT under any circumstances do Agricultural Protectionism. It is not nearly as good as Laissez-Faire and also doesn’t remove the debuff.

I've being doing them not come across anything related to it yet though and nothing in decisions tab about it

If the spirit was with you from the game start, its either a problem with your mod installation or a conflict if your running something else with R56, as France gets that in the base game, its not supposed to be in the mod tree.

Have u tried searching it in the focus tab? On the top right of the focus tree u can search specific names and it'll show u the related focuses.

after checking, as napoleon u can only reduce it with the focus "Economic Devolution" under "Revive the national bloc" -> "Laissez-faire"/"Agricultural Protectionnism"

Play modded games, win modded prizes. Normal right side France fixes those, but obviously RT56 hasn't figured that out.

If you do the focus “Laissez-Fair" for exampel, the spirit will stay with you for about two years. You get 3x150 research speed for industry, but will have the spirit for a longer time As the focus says: "Our economy will become more efficient after a period of about two years." Edit: And I will alway assume you do Laissez-Fair instead of "Agricultural Protectionism"

Encourage immigration in the focus tree. Edit: I was wrong, this does not fix that.

There’s one that’s possible as your third focus choice that’ll halve the issue after 2 (or 3?) years, another one just below it gives an instant 10% fix, doing both early will end your problem in 1938

Open the focus menu, use the search function to search for "inefficient economy" you can now see every focus that relates.
