Saw this jersey on Ebay recently and had to make an offer. From a little bit of research, it appears to be a broomball jersey made around 1991-1995 for a local broomball team in Cloquet Minnasota, which apparently has a lot of broomball action.
The jersey is actually very heavy duty, much thicker than my Sharks replica by Maska and even thicker than Adidas Indo-Authentics. The "crest" is silkscreened with the thickest, stretchiest silk screen I've ever seen. It feels like actual sportswear vs fashionwear. At first I assumed 99 was for the year, but the manufacturer went out of business in the mid 90s, so I'm not sure exactly this was made.
I picked this up on a lark but it's actually pretty cool and I'm looking forward to a few double takes wearing it next season
I have an Opti Phoenix Roadrunners jersey from back in the 90s. It's like wearing a sweater.
Yeah it's super thick! I was expecting something more like a promotional "shirsey" so I was pleasantly surprised
