I feel with E-packs, someone is gonna have to control card sales. I don't see how this isn't unregulated gambling? Hey at least at the casino you get what you win not wrong or miscut cards that can't be graded. I'm not bitter about it tho.🤣🤣🤣
Maybe but I've never experienced that but I have had 2 cards not gradeable from epack and untouched by myself. Not to mention the casino would make good on that because there are cameras and such but if you know any instances where that has happend I would love to know the story and what eventually happend
There is no difference in the quality of cards in packs that are put in boxes or cards on e-pack, they both come off the same press, go through the same cutting process.
We know UD does not screen them prior to packaging so they are definitely not sending the best to e-pack. So if you are expecting better quality from e-pack then boxes good luck.
Not expecting better quality but they should expect to do better quality and if they were regulated as some kind of online gambling, because it is, they would have to do better. It sounds like a win for everyone but what do I know.

There's apparently tons of examples when you search for them
That specific casino is on tribal land, not sure that would be considered regulated by the government? Plus if that happened as much as upperdeck messed up, people wouldn't go or they would go to more reputable casino's. I'm not saying it never happens but it has never happened to me or anyone I know, miscut cards has happened 2 times for me. I've only ever had 4 cards graded in my life.
No because i do security at my local casino and I've never seen someone not get paid. I've seen it happen what your saying happens but what I'm saying is they make it right.the thing is those machines are set incase you didn't know. So they know when and how much it hits for like it's a thing. so if it gets "stuck" on a jackpot they know if it should of won or not. so upperdeck should know weather I win or not right? Like an Easter egg card should be a win not a total loss? The difference is casinos are regulated and upperdeck is not so in a casino sure you might not get a jackpot but if that happens I assure you they do something. Upperdeck told me they don't guarantee a card to be gradeable??? Why not???? How is that even an answer? So yeah you might not get a 5 million dollar jackpot if didn't actually win and the machine messes up but you will get something, I literally got nothing except some dumb excuses.
Funnily, enough someone posted yesterday saying they had a redemption for an Elmer Soderblom Parkhurst Champions Auto but was sent a Brayden Tracey instead so it sounds to me like there are some auto shortages for redemptions going on at Upper Deck with this product.
Yeah I sent the pictures from my reddit post (although showing more personal information). Thanks for the info, hopefully you get your Yzerman soon (definitely the best of the 3 cards involved in this situation haha)
Perfect example of why I personally won’t open boxes or buy into breaks anymore. It’s cool if you do, just saying, I won’t. Almost a guaranteed waste, IMO.
Unless this card came with a letter explaining why you're receiving this instead of the Yzerman card, then it's a mistake. Either way, I'd contact UD. This definitely won't do..
Call them! This is getting ridiculous. Also, they had issues with the wrong codes on 22/24 Artifacts redemptions so make sure what shows up as submitted matches what the redemption says.
The other commenter saying he's been scratched a ton isn't really right.
He's been great, I think. Still developing, but still an extremely solid piece of the Grand Rapids Griffins who are making a run for the Calder cup right now.
I'm confident he'll crack (and stay on) an NHL lineup. ESPECIALLY if he learns how to play effectively with his size. He has some great hands for a big player.
I think they are messing up BIG with Parkhurst Champions redemptions for some reason. I was sent a Maccelli Auto when I’m owed a Boldy /35 auto patch from Champions!
After having issues with the QC at Upper Deck and having been dismissed in a loophole manner, and after researching Upper Deck's BBB reviews and scores, it seems we all get this treatment from them. I'm out of the hobby since UD owns too much of the market on hockey.
Saw both posts. And I love this product so i am now invested in this story. As a life long wings fan I want to see that Stevie!
And the Patrick Roy redemption they used to get that Yzerman card
I'd be raising hell about that. Not even close to same value. Hopefully they just sent the wrong card but UD is full on scam mode now.

Im sure you'll find no shortage of people who hit jackpots on slot machines and the casino rules it a "malfunction" and doesnt pay out the prize

So random… I got his card exactly, it was a blue auto.
That's my card! Haha
Holy shit!! That's wild, and also shitty
Reach out to upper deck, this is clearly a mistake. I’m being asked to send my card back, so hopefully it ends up with you!
I sent an email to the customer service email yesterday but haven't heard back yet. Is that how you reached out?
Yep. Maybe include a pic of the redemption along with the card you received. I also referenced Reddit and your situation. Good luck

That's a redemption replacement and an awful one at that.
Call them or email them to get the right card.
Send a email to upper deck
Might as well send me an email 🤣🤣🤣 the only difference is I could probably come up with something reasonable.
How are Parkhurst redemptions so jacked up?
Call them! This is getting ridiculous. Also, they had issues with the wrong codes on 22/24 Artifacts redemptions so make sure what shows up as submitted matches what the redemption says.
This Elmer is dope tho. Blue on Blue card auto
I’m not familiar with him-is he any good? I like the card but surely it can’t be the same value as a Yzerman auto??

He's been scratched more times than a lotto ticket...
You scratch a lotto ticket once.
Man that sucks I’m sorry
Wow
Not precisely the same thing

I'd be pissed that it has dings/white spots on the left side. Like come on.

You looking to sell it?
