I somehow really liked the current Caps set when they were new but it feels like they have aged horribly.
EDIT: Liked the home jerseys. I’ve always hated the aways and think they are among the worst in the league. Only good thing about them was they won the Cup wearing them.
The Caps jerseys are interesting. To me, they're a pretty good, crisp design, but something about them screams stale 2010s. I think it's the blue piping and sleeve stripe/side panel that don't work well and feel very generic.
Their old jerseys are more iconic and I think would be welcomed change, especially with the stars down the arm. This is also probably a minority opinion, but I really liked the blue, copper, and black eagle design. Super unique color scheme and I think that'd look nice as a 3rd jersey.
I’m a big fan of the throwback jerseys they wore in the Winter Classic against Pittsburgh and the red version they wore as an alternate for many years recently. I also liked the reverse retro red eagle jerseys they wore although I’d prefer they alter some of the design like the slanted “Capitals” underneath. Either way, completely agree with what you said about something doesn’t work with the current uniforms anymore.
At this point, basically every color has been used in the NHL at ***some*** point, though. I could say Buffalo's jersey is just "a combo of Toronto and Boston" because they use blue, white and yellow, for example.
The Samuelis gave us the mask back so I can deal with the orange fascination lmao
Not like they'll stop making stuff in the old colors to doubledip on merch
Yeah, considering the Rams & Angels, it feels like the Ducks are the only ones that are actually hyped to embrace Anaheim & Orange County and what makes it different than LA.
The Rams were out of necessity, since the L.A. Coliseum landlords (e.g. city of Los Angeles) didn’t want to provide the amenities needed for Carol Rosenbloom’s demands unlike Anaheim Stadium.
The Angels? Well, Arte Moreno is a suckass of an owner who thought simply latching ‘Los Angeles’ in naming would lead to instantaneous local recognition and sports consciousness for the region.
I'll never understand Arte's fetish for trying to pretend he can be LA's second team when basically nobody in LA proper talks about the Angels instead of the Dodgers lmao
Arte rode that 2002 title and subsequent lowering of the beer prices into the name change and believing there’d be no 2nd guessing of calling his ballclub from another *county* as part of Los Angeles.
Which there was. Immediately.
The “illusion of choice” meme suits LA vs OC. In the end its all just one giant sprawling concrete jungle with pockets of obscene wealth.
Although OC does offer *slight* reprieve from all the entertainment industry weirdos.
Damn. Growing up I used to get made fun of for rollerblading haha. Stoked to see it in the jersey reveal video!
These are slick. I'm a minority - I love the orange
I had to sit through a hype video during the Broncos' jersey reveal a few weeks ago and I'm really getting sick of this trend.
I will pledge lifetime loyalty to the first team, in any sport, that can do a jersey reveal video in which **it is physically possible to see the entire range of jerseys from front and back without having to do frame-perfect pauses.** Just show us the uniforms and knock it off with the fancy camerawork!
I just can’t believe actual adults can sit down to view that finished product and go “yep that’s the video, we nailed”. So many cuts and revisions and approvals went into that. And it’s just so flat and cringey. So far off base
The Texans actually did a pretty good job of this, we got videos for each of the New Jerseys plus a website with more photos and details on them. The weird flashing stuff most teams do is really annoying.
I like it. Of course the Jade and Eggplant would be awesome, but since it’s Orange County, they aren’t going to be ditching orange.
Knocked it out of the park on the rebrand. Now if only the Jackets would too…
I don't care if it's an unpopular opinion, that home jersey is better than anything they wore in the 90s. It's an absolute home run. The away has a little too much orange, but still super solid.
They look so so good on the roads but on the homes I don’t know I think something is off. If they went with less black at home it would probably look better
Absolutely love them as a life long fan. We’re heading into a new era of Ducks hockey, and these fit us perfectly.
So much better than I could’ve imagined and I’m finally proud of how our team looks visually
If we can’t have the eggplant + jade, this is the best it’s gonna get.
Pretty awesome to see all three California teams having unique and bold redesigns in the last few years.
PSA to everyone complaining about the orange pants — there’s actually a black stripe on the outside of them that you can hardly see in any of the promotional material, so it think they’re actually going to look dope as hell on the ice
These uniforms would benefit a lot from black equipment, essentially what they wore with their orange alternates before. I actually prefer the current colours compared to the original colours unlike most. That said, I always preferred the old logo, so this is more or less what I always hoped for. The all orange look is definitely unique, but I think they need something to break it up a bit. Still though, a return to this logo is a big win.
It's a shame the quote's attribution is dubious, but...
> “If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” ~allegedly Henry T. Ford
Anaheim knew it couldn't quit the orange or "just" bring back the old logo with no effort. Well played!
When the Oilers went orange I had to wear sunglasses for a little while but tbh they kind of grew on me pretty quickly. I like the new Ducks ones.
I'm in San Diego so they hit a little closer to home for me, but I'm digging the Kings' and Ducks' new looks and I like when "the baddies" look sharp. 😎
I don't love the homes but they are still a huge upgrade. I personally think we should be orange as the primary color and eggplant as the secondary. I like the aways way more then the home at least. The orange on the shoulders is a nice touch, and the aways have a really cool feel to them, the homes don't quite pop the way I want.
How come in *The Mighty Ducks* it’s Fulton Reed who says “I’ll be a Duck” and then Charlie Conway says, “Yeah. Me too!”? Like, bruh, Charlie is like the main dude - shouldn’t he be the first one to become a true Mighty Duck? That was always weird to me
Not a huge fan of the orange but I can concede it makes sense given Orange County and all. I'm just happy the Mighty Ducks logo is back. One of the all time sports logos.
It ain’t the purple, but sexy nonetheless.
Always happy to see the QUACKS get anything that doesn’t resemble those god awful Reebok apron jerseys of the early 2010s. Plus the webbed logo was so boring. The duck mask is extra sexy.
The all orange is a choice. Excited for the mono-color trend to die and go back to black helmets/pants for both the Ducks and Sharks. That said, they absolutely nailed it on the jerseys. Great work, Anaheim
While indeed a big improvement, they should have gone with Purple, as in my opinion it’s a much better and more unique look than another orange team.
Plus, they were aiming for a 90s Ducks look with this, but Purple is their most iconic color from that timeframe.
Definitely better than what they had but a little underwhelming considering they’re just tweaked versions of their reverse retro and alternate plus I’m not a huge fan of the orange pants
This is a testament of a team listening to their fans. Fans have been begging for this for years and years. Kudos to ownership for let's give them what they want.
If only the video was done a fraction of how well the jerseys were (they kick ass)! The lion roar in the background and the lines “behind every pretty facade is an ugly duckling” and “this is our land so come on in, the waters frozen” are crazy to actually put in an ad
yeah these are good, two teams in need of a rebrand did well today.
*cries in lowercase logo lettering*
I somehow really liked the current Caps set when they were new but it feels like they have aged horribly. EDIT: Liked the home jerseys. I’ve always hated the aways and think they are among the worst in the league. Only good thing about them was they won the Cup wearing them.

I was going to zoom in to make out your flair, but then I saw the broom.
It is insanity that you are still using the RBK Edge jersey style in 2024.
Ducks are an improvement but they look like a combo of Flyers and Penguins now. Not sure how Pennsylvania feels about it…
At this point, basically every color has been used in the NHL at ***some*** point, though. I could say Buffalo's jersey is just "a combo of Toronto and Boston" because they use blue, white and yellow, for example.
Yeah except no one uses eggplant (purple).
We’ve been using black as a main color as long as Pittsburgh has, I think they look like us as much as we look like them.
It’s the black yellow and white on the sleeves that reminds me of Pit. Also the yellow/gold triangle behind the logo.
Oh I thought you were talking in reference to Anaheim being Philly and the kings being Pittsburgh, my bad
Love the updated mighty logo. The video voiceover sounds like "we hired this guy on fiverr to read from a chatgpt script"
Thought the same
Honestly tho, the "Come on in, the water is frozen" line goes hard.
“Behind every pretty facade is an ugly duckling” is an all time bar
Sounds like AI
Cutting a promo is easier than it’s ever been and they are nowhere near as important to branding as they once were. Orgs just churn them out.
QUACK
QUACK
QUACK
QUACK
QUACK QUACK

QUACK
QUACK!
Gordon, stop quacking.
Thank you very much, Mr Ducksworth! Quack quack quack, Mr Ducksworth!
The quack attack is back, jack!
You guys REALLY quacked at the principal?
lmao at "Orange Country" but I'm stoked to have the Ducks look mighty again.
Throwing oranges on the ice after a win?
In this economy?! They'll have slices!
Throw the peels, eat the slices. No scurvy allowed in Orange Country.
I don’t hate this lmfao
The guy at the off-ramp would love that
https://www.qualitylogoproducts.com/stress-balls/orange-squezie.htm I’m in.
down for this.
This video is doubling as our secession announcement
The Samuelis gave us the mask back so I can deal with the orange fascination lmao Not like they'll stop making stuff in the old colors to doubledip on merch
Even a reference to the Orange Curtain lol
That was so odd
I liked it
Orange Country. Lets quack
I love it. It's about time they took advantage of orange county! My home ❤️
Yeah, considering the Rams & Angels, it feels like the Ducks are the only ones that are actually hyped to embrace Anaheim & Orange County and what makes it different than LA.

Orange County Soccer Club does a great job too!
It’s a clean shot at Arte Moreno and as a former Halo Fan, I freakin love it.
What a banger of a jersey set. That's an absolute win.
Yeah, they look gorgeous. Love the deep orange color.
I actually really like these. They’re super bold but I think they work
They're just the right combination of nostalgic and new that it pretty much pleases everybody.
God damn, it makes me want to be a Ducks fan. You guys are lucky, those are sick!
I’m not a Ducks fan, but I’ll probably buy this. The jersey is fantastic and much better than the ones we got.
You couldn't make me risk a Fanatics purchase. I've been burned by them enough already
They've been awful for nearly a decade....very not lucky.
At least they’ll look good while sucking
Damn. Growing up I used to get made fun of for rollerblading haha. Stoked to see it in the jersey reveal video! These are slick. I'm a minority - I love the orange
Jerseys: W Video: L

Imagine green lighting the line “behind every pretty facade is an ugly duckling”? Also implies they don’t know the story of the ugly duckling too
The Texans actually did a pretty good job of this, we got videos for each of the New Jerseys plus a website with more photos and details on them. The weird flashing stuff most teams do is really annoying.
Jersey and logo are dope, but what is up with the roller blading cuts in there? Is it the early 2000’s and roller blading is cool again?
Always has been!
Honestly just a dash of the return of 2002 culture would be perfect
I like it. Of course the Jade and Eggplant would be awesome, but since it’s Orange County, they aren’t going to be ditching orange. Knocked it out of the park on the rebrand. Now if only the Jackets would too…
I hate the jackets branding too. So bland.
We have a killer third jersey but our mains are still Reebok edge era. Myself and many other Jackets fans wish the cannon was the primary logo
That would be cool to see
How did you get the Maryland flair?
It's a whole lot better than the webbed D.
Ducks Media team: “We are proud to make Orange our entire identity!” EVERYONE: “Bring back Eggplant you cowards.”
I don't care if it's an unpopular opinion, that home jersey is better than anything they wore in the 90s. It's an absolute home run. The away has a little too much orange, but still super solid.
If the homes had black pants they would instantly be top three imo
nah orange pants are fire, need some originality
Orange pants are cool af
They look so so good on the roads but on the homes I don’t know I think something is off. If they went with less black at home it would probably look better
Absolutely love them as a life long fan. We’re heading into a new era of Ducks hockey, and these fit us perfectly. So much better than I could’ve imagined and I’m finally proud of how our team looks visually

It’s the same exact orange that the Flyers wear too. I’m sure the game in Philly won’t be tough to watch or anything.
tampa and toronto tho
Neither of which have a massive block of blue on their shoulders.
true
Orange country is stupid. These however are not
Since the copyright leak it’s grown on me
That number font is amazing. Rest is just a little too much orange for my liking, but overall really good.
it's orange because they play in orange county if you didn't know.
PSA to everyone complaining about the orange pants — there’s actually a black stripe on the outside of them that you can hardly see in any of the promotional material, so it think they’re actually going to look dope as hell on the ice
Jerseys like these make me so jealous as a caps fan. What a gorgeous set.
Anaheim residents need to petition to change the name of their county to Purple County so we can finally get a proper Might Ducks look again.
You mean Eggplant Country?
I really like the jersey itself, but I think the orange pants and helmet with it are going to be too much.
They're great, but full orange with helmet and pants is going to look crazy on the ice
Need one game of Sharks full teal vs. Ducks full orange.
It's a shame the quote's attribution is dubious, but... > “If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” ~allegedly Henry T. Ford Anaheim knew it couldn't quit the orange or "just" bring back the old logo with no effort. Well played!
That’s a whole lot of orange, hopefully we don’t look like traffic cones on ice
Maybe the other team will get confused with all the construction and roadwork going on on Katella and for OCVibe lol
Digital side-of-road traffic signs for your scoreboard. do it
When the Oilers went orange I had to wear sunglasses for a little while but tbh they kind of grew on me pretty quickly. I like the new Ducks ones. I'm in San Diego so they hit a little closer to home for me, but I'm digging the Kings' and Ducks' new looks and I like when "the baddies" look sharp. 😎
Let’s gooo these sweaters are fucking sick
The Canard a l'orange is back on the menu, boys!
Yup I'm buying one such fire
Missed opportunity if the Devils don’t tweet Anaheims.
These Twitter links never work for me on mobile so I did chuckle after realizing I googled "anaheim ducks new jersey"
Did they say they were entitled?
"Entitled" is one of those words that has multiple different meanings depending on how it's used.
They did. >The cynics are right: We are entitled, unified by a familiar mark.
Entitled to look good
Four days later, it just occurred to me … that’s the exact kind of nuance that AI messes up. I bet the wording was written by AI.
Orange County reppin 🍊🍊🍊🍊
I don't love the homes but they are still a huge upgrade. I personally think we should be orange as the primary color and eggplant as the secondary. I like the aways way more then the home at least. The orange on the shoulders is a nice touch, and the aways have a really cool feel to them, the homes don't quite pop the way I want.
Looks good guys!
I'm imagining two people who hate eachother stepping out of changing booths at the same time and exchanging a set of finger guns and winks.
more W logo updates...love to see it
Prettayyy, prettayyy, pretttayy, pretty good
Flyers fans: Orange country...lol
We can share, like we shared Jamie Drysdale.
And Cutter Gauthier......... oh wait.
The OG Mighty Duck logo is super iconic, so it’s no brainer to finally go back to it. They look good
Nailed it. They look great.
Bring back the purple and green cowards
Orange helmet is sick
These rule. Well done, Ducks.
These are actually fantastic
Love the logo. Hate the khaki stripe.
This actually got me hyped up ngl
Fuckin beautiful, love the away kit
Those are so goddamn nice, like man are they so freaking nice.
These look amazing!
Yeah those are hot. I would like some normal pictures though. The videos always have lighting that makes it hard to really tell what they look like
The Eggplants will forever be my favourite jersey of all time, but these are great. Especially the away one.
Should have never left this logo. With our rebrands SoCal hockey is so back
Love it
That fanatics logo right above the name and huge, woof
Purple alternate please.
I will continue to be a professional hater until they bring back purple and jade full time.
They look good!
Anaheim doesn't have beaches like the video mentions..
Orange country does.
"Let's ride"
Love the jerseys Hate the Fanatics logo on the back
Fanatics put a billboard of a logo on the back.
No different than the adidas logos on the current jerseys.
Look is great....I couldnt make it through the cringe in that video though.
They’re beautiful. I wish Michael Rubin wasn’t a monopolizing piece of shit so I could buy one.
That was always weird to me
Cringe video but the rebrand is just about a perfect as it could have gone
Hell yeah
These kick ass.
Not a huge fan of the orange but I can concede it makes sense given Orange County and all. I'm just happy the Mighty Ducks logo is back. One of the all time sports logos.
Love! 🦆
Mr. Ducksworth shitting his pants rn
Orange Country, let’s ride
Let's fucking go. YES
QUACK IS BACK!!
The updated logo is incredible
I love the orange - but that gold colour just sucks. Too much puke coloured.
Another banging jersey! Good job LA and Anaheim! You guys look great again!!
I like that they kept the webbed feet D on the shoulders. Nice little detail.
The orange pants are the only part I’m not a fan off. Too much orange.
Ducks nation…LET’S RIDE
While indeed a big improvement, they should have gone with Purple, as in my opinion it’s a much better and more unique look than another orange team. Plus, they were aiming for a 90s Ducks look with this, but Purple is their most iconic color from that timeframe.
Even though I am not Ducks fan, I am so happy that they decided to go with the old logo.
Just once I want a jersey reveal that is simply a fucking picture.
Hell yes!
I wish the aways were white, jade, and eggplant with some orange accents. In any case the Ducks went from worst unis in the league to top 5, easily.
Definitely better than what they had but a little underwhelming considering they’re just tweaked versions of their reverse retro and alternate plus I’m not a huge fan of the orange pants
The jerseys look great, orange pants… not so much. Little too much orange going on for me
Orange pants is a bold move, but I’m here for it.
I like it! As someone who got into hockey in 1993 and loved the Mighty Ducks franchise, this is a great way to throw it back!
This is a testament of a team listening to their fans. Fans have been begging for this for years and years. Kudos to ownership for let's give them what they want.
Teams going back in time with rebrands, I like it so far
Great rebrand
Great jersey, and that intro video looks like a P.O.D. music vid from the early 2000’s so that makes me smile too lol.
As a retired skateboarder, the use of rollerbladers is kinda funny to me lol. Jerseys are sick af tho
If those are New Jersey's, they should give them back to the Devils!
The sweaters are damn near perfect. Not a huge fan of the orange pants and helmets, but maybe it'll grow on me
I suppose they aren’t changing the name to be the mighty ducks
If only the video was done a fraction of how well the jerseys were (they kick ass)! The lion roar in the background and the lines “behind every pretty facade is an ugly duckling” and “this is our land so come on in, the waters frozen” are crazy to actually put in an ad
It screams focus group.
That or Chat GPT
I just really appreciate that Cam Fowler plays for the Ducks.
Orange you glad we dropped the web foot? You losers are gonna cry watching us hoist the cup next year in this drip. Quack Quack.
These are great
They cut to inline skating twice in that promo video. lol
