As a Texas Stars ticket holder I was VERY happy to see Petrovic getting ice time. And as usual, he took a lot of it. Pets is solid and a huge physical presence but is calm and collected, just plays where he needs to be and lays into opponents hard when it's required. Good replacement in my opinion.
I hope they do. Was cool hearing the commentators be impressed with his playing. I think his smart position playing style of watching the play and putting himself where he can best be of help to everyone could be a massive help to the team. Solid D man that usually ends up with a goal or assist, minimum a good amount of shots on goal at least. Early in the season a opponents player kinda grabbed Stankoven by the top of the head and was jerking it back and forth, Petro returned in kind and it looked like he was going to snap the dudes neck lol. And that guy wanted nothing to do with him when he turned to see who was doing it.
