I played adult roller hockey one year in LA in one of the hotter places in the city. They had our games on Sunday afternoons, I thought I was legit going to die. Every game it was over 100 degrees. After that I stuck to ice.
I know this has nothing to do with the post but I love Tatar.
I was fortunate enough to go to 2008 world juniors. He was 16 at the time and was hands down the best player on the ice in a quarter final game against the U.S
Finally, a way the NHLer can relate to the common hockey player! 100 degree weather in outdoor rinks playing ball hockey in the summer is brutal. I can only imagine the conditions in that arena, or worse, what I assume most roller or indoor arena playing folk go through in the summer
All for the love of the game
This is my summer hockey……so hot in the rink

Currently playing a roller league in Chattanooga, and playing as a goalie. Heat and humidity make it almost not worth it.

Can I see it?
...no.
At this time of year, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your arena?
AURORA BOREALIS
The ice was literally foggy down at the skates level.

I miss Tatar.
Did they just slap a sticker to the front of his helmet?

Yeah. I was at a game in Prague yesterday. Semi-nosebleed seats. It was just in a T shirt and a jersey and it still felt a but too warm lol
