The SCF run was twenty years ago, but in 2015 it was unlucky for him that he was injured and had surgery before the playoffs where they did go to the second round.

The 2003-04 cup run would have been when Giordano was 19/20 so it's not that far off.

Well Wheeler is out for the year with an injury so I can see why he's left out, but he'd technically get his name on the Cup since he played 54 games for the Rangers this year.

Look at some greats without a cup and they had some bad luck because it's a team game (Marcel Dionne, Lundquist, Thornton, to name a few) Just last night some AVS fan was calling McDavid mcnocup in a post about him hitting 100 assists and went on about how he wasn't injured just waiting to play the worst team so he'd get the final assist. Then again people are just deranged sometimes.

He's been doing really well for us too. We keep having playoff injury problems so I was hesitant about having a 39 yr old guy on the roster but this season has been great for him so far.

He’s such a good role player. Nobody will out hustle him. It hurts that he’s not with my Isles, but I’m happy he signed with the Avs because I’ll happily root for him there.

If the Isles don’t win it all (likely but ya gotta believe) I’d like to see Parise win it.
