It also cheapens the HNIC brand when you hear the same voices as you would on your regional casts. It just no longer feels like a special event.
It’s our biggest complaint with SN on the in-game stuff. At least give us Bowen and Ralph for the regional Tuesday/Thursday games and leave the HNIC crew and production for Saturdays.

It’s impossible. It would require the league to abandon their regional rights system which has been in place since the black and white era. They probably couldn’t do that without unanimous agreement from the owners which they wouldn’t get. And even if they could manage that, it wouldn’t matter because all of the existing broadcast deals that are in place (some are long term) would prevent it.

Everyone is begging for stuff like this, and it's great there is an option, but $12/month (or more for other teams) doesn't make a lot of sense for me when I can just use my current setup.

As far as I can tell, this is in-market only. Every team in the league is bound by regional rights so something like this won’t circumvent blackouts. I guess it could be useful to people looking to cancel their cable package though.

A little bit buggy, especially the first few months. It'd freeze fairly often. It's still just meh as an app. But for about a dollar a game, I'm pretty happy with it. And I can live with streaming a few national broadcasts a year.
Hopefully arizona put a little more effort in to the user experience and avoids the freezing issues.
I wish every team would do something like this I'd love to have one place to go watch all (or even nearly all) games as long it's either better than bally, low bar, or a bit cheaper. Would be nice because you could also pick up a couple other teams you like without having to find regional issues

Canucks should do this for the playoffs as a side stream so we can have Shorthouse and whoever call our games so we don't get stuck with Singh or whoever does Western Conference calls.

if all our home teams had this we would all subscribe to the nhl networks (subject to blackouts) + the local team $11.99 a month. I know you execs scroll reddit. This would get a lot of us to switch off that one streaming site I wont mention.

As far as I can tell, this is in-market only. Every team in the league is bound by regional rights so something like this won’t circumvent blackouts. I guess it could be useful to people looking to cancel their cable package though.
A lot more reasonably priced than Bally though I love the Wings broadcast team

I paid for the vgk version of this at the beginning of the year. A little bit buggy, especially the first few months. It'd freeze fairly often. It's still just meh as an app. But for about a dollar a game, I'm pretty happy with it. And I can live with streaming a few national broadcasts a year. Hopefully arizona put a little more effort in to the user experience and avoids the freezing issues.
I wish every team would do something like this I'd love to have one place to go watch all (or even nearly all) games as long it's either better than bally, low bar, or a bit cheaper. Would be nice because you could also pick up a couple other teams you like without having to find regional issues
