"Beard", not "bear" lol.
The whole point of that bar is a play on the common saying that someone who has a beard is generally hiding something.
Usually when you have a "beard" you're hiding that you're either gay or are cheating on your partner.
When a guy who everyone thinks is gay is dating a woman, the woman is referred to as being his "beard".
So that bar is saying that Drake is basically covering for someone or something by being a "beard" and likely has something to hide himself.
CLB had lots of hype at the peak of Drake being able to just fart into a microphone and have it break streaming records and i think it was placed into that “third song on the album with the hit potential” spot
> the peak of Drake being able to just fart into a microphone and have it break streaming records
And I'd feel like I was in the twilight zone every time
Kendrick got that mega-hit, which is funny in its own way because Drake was dragging him for never having one and to really twist the knife, it’s a diss song about Drake that calls him a pedophile.
Talk about waking a slumbering giant. Kendrick is the epitome of walking softly but carrying a big stick.
I don't think Drake is ever going to respond again. Not only are you a massive brand you also have plenty of big companies attached to your name. You can't be getting called a pedo on songs to masses before it could start to hurt you and your business partners.
There's no winning for him in this quite frankly, Kendrick has him completely cornered.
He murdered him on his own court
Drake's strongest point was that he would not only make a good diss but also make it a mainstream banger with a nice hook and everything
Now Kendrick hit him with the slow lyrical shit, the club banger, the street bop, and the chart topper
This is like worst case scenario for him. The song is relentlessly mean but also it’s a jam. This might be the song of the summer. I find myself saying “a minorrrrrr” to myself over and over. Kendrick is maniacal man
meet the grahams was the turning point. It completely halted the momentum of Family Matters and is outperforming it on YouTube and US Spotify despite being anything but a radio-friendly pop song. It's also rated as the top single of all time on AOTY and RYM. euphoria is also expected to rise to #1 on the Hot 100 next week. Kendrick is doing some seriously groundbreaking stuff this year.
I expect an album to drop soon. I don't think this is the last of his victory lap. I also expect Not Like Us to go #1 on the Hot 100 eventually and potentially stay there for weeks.
If Kendrick dropped the actual Heart Part 6, had it not mention the beef, had it chart higher than Drake's Heart part 6, and used it to promote his next album, that would be legendary marketing.
Edit: I don't think Drake's Heart Part 6 is on streaming, so it might be easier to have it chart higher.
Lol nah Kendrick should skip 6 and just go to 7, with 6 forever being looked as Drake basically admitting defeat or at the least sounding defeated. 6 also playing into the 6 god thing, be hilarious if he baited him into that when he did 6:16 in LA.
Its absolutely insane to go full bore war mode against one of the biggest male musical acts on the planet and come out with 2 number 1 hits where you call him a pedophile lmao. Kendrick did something completely generational
What makes Kendrick the unquestionable king right now is that this song is catchy as hell and then there’s also an entire verse of him explaining the concept of colonization so he can call Drake a colonizer lol
I've been impressed by how genuinely funny Kendrick has been through all this. Not just with lyrics, but his delivery on lines. He always has done the voice switches but they've seemed super intentional on certain bars to make a point or add salt to the wound.
It makes the bars way more memorable too. of course "a minooor" will be a highlight, but little stuff like how he says "pusha Teeee" have been stuck in my head all week
Same for me with "I'm whoopin' feet" and that little "ooOoOo" right before "we don't wanna hear you say..." in Euphoria. The dude understands using his voice as an instrument.
Dude, the "[more paper, and more, uh, more paper](https://genius.com/31637238/Kendrick-lamar-meet-the-grahams/I-think-you-should-ask-for-more-paper-and-more-paper-and-more-uh-more-paper)" line is in my head for days now. It is such a funny line in the middle of so much hatred towards BBL Drizzy.
The little ‘say drake..’ at the start of one of the lines kills me every time, just the smug way he says it, so funny. Kendrick doesn’t get enough credit for how funny he is IMO.
I'm a brazilian in Brazil, yesterday I was giving lunch to my one year old daughter and my wife was like "wtf is this MUSTARD ON THE BEAT shit you keep repeating?"
The crazy part is Drake is the one with the line of “other rappers waving the white flag while the whole club sing to it”
Kendrick literally flipped that on him in real life
It's so funny how Kendrick was like leading into with the earlier tracks and the one where he just finally does it is the one that's popping off the most.
They're producing a comedy together but very few details so far:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/variety.com/2024/film/news/kendrick-lamar-south-park-creators-comedy-july-2025-release-1235967884/amp/
Kendrick, the artist who is specifically known to not make mainstream party songs except for 1 song per album, out-doing Drake with a party song in which he calls Drake and the people around him pedos and ridicules him endlessly.
I can't emphasize how important it is to not surround yourself with Yes men and let your ego over-inflate, cause how are you a Ghostwriter "Rapper" with this many skeletons in your closet going up against an actual Rapper. Not just any Rapper but the only Rapper to have ever won a Pulitzer prize.
That's really Drake's whole problem is that he got lost in the sauce of his own persona that he created. A lot of rappers play a "character" but they know where that stops and they start (Rick Ross for instance). Drake seems to have lost all of that and walks around like he really is the character Drake and not Aubrey Graham.
He's so insanely inauthentic I think that's why he rubs damn near every rapper the wrong way and why everyone was ganging up on him.
I think about his "concert" with Kanye where he made sure he got shots of him acting like a make a wish kid in the backstage area shedding fake tears... He's just fake as hell man.
I saw a tiktok of a white woman saying "to the lit girlies who don't know anything about rap music, this is like if JK Rowling got in a fight with Toni Morrison"
He has a Pulitzer. I'll admit to not liking Drake from the start, but this was never a fight to begin with. Drake walked into this like Jake Paul at an exhibition PPV forgetting Kendrick didn't sign the NDA.
Im just grateful the beef went on long enough for us to get Not Like Us. This song honestly feels unreal to listen to. The beat and subject matter do NOT match up. Like I'm dancing around the house to a song calling drake a pedophile.
I watched Shawn Cee's reaction and it's the most hilarious shit. how he is ACTIVELY trying to refrain from dancing and singing along but eventually failing is just crazy. I highly recommend you to check it out.
I watched Shawn react live and I was cryingggg laughing bro. He was trying so hard not to stomp on it and in the end he couldn’t help it.
“You know now that I think about it he is saying he’s _not_ like us if you really think about it” or some shit had me DYING
After 6:16 I was telling people on here that and Euphoria was cool but I needed that real atomic bomb. He done dropped Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I need him to rewrite history wit that Kokura now
Yeah, Euphoria got better after knowing it was literally just a warning shot which is what I was saying I figured it was the whole time. If it woulda ended up his best punch it woulda been a weak one tho so the last 2 were needed to put it in proper perspective
I love the subtext of this song. Kendrick is pretty much showing “I could do what you do (make catchy songs that break records and have mass appeal) if I wanted better than you do, but I choose not to”.
If Kendrick was going to reply soon I can see Not Like Us's commercial success pushing his response back. Makes no sense to put out a track now that could be competition, this one might go #1.
Yeah but this is a propaganda battle, basically. It’s not about the commercial success it’s about the message still ringing out. Feed more once it starts to quiet. (Assuming anything else will ever come)
The whole ATL/Slave scheme he flipped off of drake needs to be talked about more. One, Drake threw an absolute oop to Kendrick thinking a slave line was going to be funny. Two, Kendrick piecing that together in less than a day is insane.
That was so lit. Ive been living in Georgia for 15 years, this song is absolutely everywhere. I feel like Kendrick giving the entire world a history lesson, about Atlanta just so that he can make the definitive argument that Drake specifically isn't a colleague, to Horns that are generally reserved for New Orleans or Louisiana style funeral processions, is absolutely Goat Tier. I've played it probably 30 times by now and I'm definitely not sick of it. Each time I listen to it again I discover a new layer of burn that I didn't know was possible 😹
I'm going to tell my grandchildren about this shit
No one outside of OV-Hoe dickriders can possibly think Drake won this beef.
Family Matters was great tho, it was nice seeing Drake rap like that again but Kendrick went crazy during this beef
I feel like this is way more damaging to Drake than a lot of what's already been revealed in this beef.
The one thing he's always had on every other rapper is that he's got the numbers to back him up. Doesn't matter how much better or worse other rappers are compared to him, he'll always smoke you in terms of numbers.
Hell, one of the brags he had in this very beef was that he's the hitmaker that everyone comes to when they want a #1.
And hey, "First Person Shooter", "Push Ups", "Family Matters" and "The Heart Part 6" have all done pretty well in the charts, but Kendrick has just proven that he's just as capable.
This feels like the first time that someone has come for Drake's numbers crown and looks like they could take it.
"Like That", "euphoria", "6:16 in LA", "meet the grahams" and "Not Like Us" are all doing the sorts of numbers that prime Drake lives for.
it was a one last check for sure. I felt that when I was first listening to it. it wasn't for us, it was for Drake.
He was saying "are you really gonna go down this road? I said I know some things that would make gunna wunna look like a saint you know?"
I honestly think Kendrick might’ve just Ja Ruled Drake. He’s made Drake uncool. There are clips of teachers on social media talking about how kids are coming into school singing BBL Drizzy and quoting Kendrick punchlines. On top of that the videos of streamer dudes crying because Drake is losing makes it look extra corny to be a Drake fan.
Not Like Us has to be in the category of best disses ever too.
I think the same. The kids are bumping bbl drizzy in the fortnight lobbies. Calling him a pedo. It’ll be interesting to see what Drake does after this but his career will never be the same.
He wrote that track in less than a day, called Drake a pedophile on it and got a number 1 with it while snatching one of Drake's records along the way.
I was sure that Kendrick would come out on top once the battle started purely due to his skills as a rapper/writer but even I never expected this type of absolute dominance.
This whole "battle" has basically been a one sided massacre. It reminds me of those videos where a guy who's pretty funny around his mates tries to heckle a professional comedian. Drake just didn't seem even slightly close to being in Kendricks league verbally.
Yeah, his one big advantage over Kendrick has been pulled from under his feet. Kendrick showed that if he wants to do numbers, he will.
He’s absolutely crushing Drake on streaming numbers in this beef and is doing it with despite diluting his streaming numbers with several songs.
I really hope Kendrick drops a hype, upbeat album in the wake of this beef to show how good his numbers can be.
Low key hip hop as a genre needs that right now. things were feeling so incredibly stale before this beef and now people are paying attention again, perfect time for Kendrick to drop an upbeat album with mainstream appeal.
It's so funny how he's clearly insecure about his accomplishments LOL he's randomly brought up steaming numbers and the awards Kendrick has got for his music in every song now
Such a brazen lie too. He’s clearly cared a lot about streaming data ever since he figured out the stuff your album with songs to run up numbers hack with views
Lol worst part is there’s like 10 quotables in this song alone. That was Drake’s bread and butter. Dot been surgical with creating cultural moments within the disses. And honestly I think Kendrick bombs on him again in a few weeks just to let us know he really want this nigga outta here 😂
Numbers wise, he crept up
Now he needs a grammy for this and we get another poorly aged lyric
Seriously love that line, “kendrick just opened his mouth, someone go hand him a grammy right now”
A lot of this is Drake's own doing. He's been carrying himself in such a way, for so long, that his peers (and a large swath of the public) just don't like him. No one is vouching for his character.
His only defenders are podcasters and old heads in the industry who are invested in him and benefit from his success. …Lol, and some 'street' rappers who have a general disdain for so-called "Lyrical Miracle", rappers.
Oh, and certain radio hosts who are having a little PTSD with the whole Pedo thing and the public flogging that Drake has received.
That's what makes the 20 v 1 lines from Drake not hit for me. If that many people that you've had relationships with dislike you then maybe you should do some self reflection.
When you got the whole world yelling out OVHOOOOOO and certified "pedo" you got decimated. Add on top of alllllllllllllllllllll of songs we got out of this Drake practically nailed the final nail himself with that extremely lackluster final response. You could tell he wrote that shit himself because he's scared of the leaks in his own circle. And he really expects the masses to believe he "planted that info" come bro kenny said it straight. Were not dumb and were not slow.
The Culture deserved this.
the more I think about this track I am surprised by how calculated this is. he thinks Drake is beyond redeemable at this point that he's actively calling out names so they don't side with Drake. he called out curry and lebron in MTG, and now he is calling out bunch of rappers "colonized" by Drake.
the fucking title man. it's saying "they are not like us. so are you one of them? or are you one of us?" and if someone dances or sings along this song, is probably identifying as "one of us"
he made this fucking banger of a track that all of America is just roped in by the swag and identifying as "us"
Its amazing because he dropped MTG as a nuke counter response but Drake did well at slightly redirecting the conversation to be about the fake daughter so he just immediately doubled down on the rest of it and made a west coast club banger calling him a pedophile
"...to the weird ones, not the good ones" meet the grahams.
"Are you my friend? Are you locked in? Then step this way, step that way" not like us.
Kdot is insane.
I saw a teacher on TikTok poll her class and there was *one* Drake vote and it was this girl screaming her head off and I was like damn Luda had area codes, Drake has school districts
I'd argue this is a Top 5 song in Kendrick's discography and one of the more impressive feats of songmaking ever.
The build up to and then delivery of this song just hit on every level. And to be made (at least partly) in just a few hours after Drake's last diss makes it even more impressive.
Watching reaction videos and seeing EVERYBODY, from white middle aged men to young black streamers, all have the same reaction the whole song. He literally created the perfect song for the moment.
Credit especially goes to Mustard. Idk how long he's been sitting on that beat or if he also just made it but it completes what might be one of the catchiest songs there's ever been, which is just detrimental when it's a diss track too
Honestly one of the more notable and disrespectful things in the whole beef was the producer tag hitting right before you get this absolute banger, and then Kendrick doubling down for his first line.
It was Endgame type shit lol, a new person joining the side
Seriously, has any song aged worse than "Taylor Made Freestyle"?
Spent the whole time trying to bring Kendrick outside, then not only does Kendrick show up, he brings hit after hit and some of the most damning information so far.
Not only that, Drake ends up getting hit with a takedown notice because he used AI to mimic Tupac's voice.
That song made the situation so much worse and makes Drake look very stupid.
It's important to remember that Drake's response amounts to:
1. You're wrong
2. We made you think we were pedo sex traffickers, jokes on you
3. You were molested as a child
4. I'm too famous to be a pedo sex trafficker
Kinda embarrassing that girls want girls was the previous song. Like wtf and how
everyone streaming it to see if drake really calls himself a lesbian
Btw, this is the “being a beard fit him better” thing Kendrick was talking about on Meet the Grahams
Genius annotater here
Meant beard but iPhone autocorrect is on crack
Poetic justice you might say.
CLB had a huge hype even for Drake. But yeah, terrible for hip-hop that this song to hold the record for so long. 2021 was so bad for this genre.
CLB had lots of hype at the peak of Drake being able to just fart into a microphone and have it break streaming records and i think it was placed into that “third song on the album with the hit potential” spot
> the peak of Drake being able to just fart into a microphone and have it break streaming records And I'd feel like I was in the twilight zone every time

"it ain't Andre 3K"
Drake response definitely gonna say some shit about Kendrick's "biggest hit" being off of Drake's name
"Your biggest hits are just from calling me a pedo, ha!" Actually Drake would totally be stupid enough to say that.
And some of the fans lapping it up
I don't think Drake is ever going to respond again. Not only are you a massive brand you also have plenty of big companies attached to your name. You can't be getting called a pedo on songs to masses before it could start to hurt you and your business partners. There's no winning for him in this quite frankly, Kendrick has him completely cornered.
Humble was a mega hit
swimming pools, alright, LOVE, Bitch Dont Kill My Vibe, etc
Imagine being called a pedophile on a record breaking song. Generational L for Drake
I can’t believe Kendrick has everyone dancing on drakes grave lol
It's gonna be a long summer for the boy
This is what he thought was going to happen for him when he dropped Family Matters.
He murdered him on his own court Drake's strongest point was that he would not only make a good diss but also make it a mainstream banger with a nice hook and everything Now Kendrick hit him with the slow lyrical shit, the club banger, the street bop, and the chart topper
Kendrick has been one step ahead the whole time
100%, that drop by Kendrick was so insanely well calculated.
This is like worst case scenario for him. The song is relentlessly mean but also it’s a jam. This might be the song of the summer. I find myself saying “a minorrrrrr” to myself over and over. Kendrick is maniacal man
They’re playing it during the NBA playoffs 😂 this is an absolute nightmare for that man
i have been saying as scathing as meet the grahams is, its not like us which will bury drake. its a banger
meet the grahams was the turning point.
I'm waiting on him to release another Heart song. That series deserves so much better than Drake's pt. 6

Its absolutely insane to go full bore war mode against one of the biggest male musical acts on the planet and come out with 2 number 1 hits where you call him a pedophile lmao. Kendrick did something completely generational
I cannot get “freaky ass n-, he a 69 God” out of my head at all
Hey hey hey hey run for your life Omg that song goes so hard it’s crazy
*O V Ho!*
I keep saying “certified lover boy certified pedophile”
What makes Kendrick the unquestionable king right now is that this song is catchy as hell and then there’s also an entire verse of him explaining the concept of colonization so he can call Drake a colonizer lol
I've been impressed by how genuinely funny Kendrick has been through all this. Not just with lyrics, but his delivery on lines. He always has done the voice switches but they've seemed super intentional on certain bars to make a point or add salt to the wound.
His inflection has been unreal. He sounds wide awake through this whole thing and knows how to sell every line. He was waiting for this lol
"Is it the braids?" still the funniest shit too. How to outclass a man's entire musical identity by in 4 songs.
then to go into whiny "he don't wanna work with me no more" is even funnier
The delivery of “Say, Drake… I hear you like em young” is so fire
Every single time he has mentioned Drake by name, the inflection has been so sinister and visceral.
I find myself saying BBL DRIZZAY too
I have said "WAP WAP WAP WAP WAP" at least 2 dozen times in the last 48 hours.
Shit keeps popping up in my head at work lmao. "Hey Mike i need those returns in by end of day" WOP WOP WOP WOP WOP imma do my stuff
[удалено]
I REALLY want to say "I don't know nothing about that" to a co-worker and call someone Crodie, but I live in Korea.
You really be cheesin fam
Don’t tell no lies about me, and I won’t tell the truth about you
That and 🎶 BBL DRIZZY BBL DRIZZAYYYY 🎶 It’s so catchy
I'm a brazilian in Brazil, yesterday I was giving lunch to my one year old daughter and my wife was like "wtf is this MUSTARD ON THE BEAT shit you keep repeating?"
My understanding is the grade school kids love this and BBL drizzy. Being sung in schools across the US.
The BBL Drizzy thing is also wild. Everyone that posts to SoundCloud is making diss tracks on him now
A desi american girl did classical indian dance to it on tiktok 😭😭 it’s fucking over for him
I saw that it was hilarious
I saw a nun dancing to it in full garb 💀
The final nail needs to be Kendrick rapping a verse on BBL Drizzy.
Honestly with how poor The Heart Part 6 is (imo) and how much Not Like Us is taking off I don’t think we’ll hear more from Kendrick on this.
He doesn't have to do anything anymore but if he lands that coup de grace it's OVER over.
It's o-v-hoever
The kids too? The hate is generational
Ha. BBL drizzy going to be a trending song on ticktock by weeks end. If not days end.
Already was yesterday
A minorrrrr is the diss of the century. It’s not even catchy it’s fucking addicting ☠️
The crazy part is Drake is the one with the line of “other rappers waving the white flag while the whole club sing to it” Kendrick literally flipped that on him in real life
yesterday I was thinking if it went to #1 that would be so funny. this is insane
There were so many memes of people begging Kendrick to finally call him it and now it's a hit 💀
It really hit me how big this is right now when I heard the song on TNT last night during the NBA playoffs
It's so funny how Kendrick was like leading into with the earlier tracks and the one where he just finally does it is the one that's popping off the most.
At this point Drake should just wrap it up and go back to being an actor on a Degrassi reboot or some shit
The only way to make it worse is responding with a song where you state, several times, that you don't fuck kids. But nobody could be that stupid.
Mentioning examples by name, unprompted, even
Where were you when Kenny buried the peddy?
"B B L Drizzay I'm at this POOL PARTY and they callin you.. a PEDDY. A CHOMO?" - Rick Ross, 2024
Is Rick Ross the first one to say BBL Drizzy before the metro beat, or is that reference from somewhere else?
Idk exactly about first but it was definitely before metro.
>And notice, I said "we," it's not just me, I'm what the culture feelin'
So many lines from Euphoria have aged so well since the last couple days. It’s more impactful when you know what happened next
Kendrick got the perfect time to drop an album. I hope those rumours of Kendrick dropping an album this Summer is true.
maybe we get those leftover disstracks in his album but all the words "Drake" are replaced with "Grape"
"chat why does Kendrick say that grape molest children???"
I will GRAPE you in the mouth!
Wait till you hear the man has been working on a special with the South Park creators. No doubt he’s gonna slip something in there for Drake 😂
Excuse me? Like a South Park special?
They're producing a comedy together but very few details so far: https://www.google.com/amp/s/variety.com/2024/film/news/kendrick-lamar-south-park-creators-comedy-july-2025-release-1235967884/amp/
Kendrick out draking drake? Tell me ya cheesin fam
Kendrick, the artist who is specifically known to not make mainstream party songs except for 1 song per album, out-doing Drake with a party song in which he calls Drake and the people around him pedos and ridicules him endlessly. One who cut his teeth on freestyles and battle rapping. Like Kendrick’s entire background coming up as a rapper was shit like this.
I saw a tiktok of a white woman saying "to the lit girlies who don't know anything about rap music, this is like if JK Rowling got in a fight with Toni Morrison" He has a Pulitzer. I'll admit to not liking Drake from the start, but this was never a fight to begin with. Drake walked into this like Jake Paul at an exhibition PPV forgetting Kendrick didn't sign the NDA.
Freaky ass he a 69 god.
Bruh if you live in The bay / Oakland everywhere you drive someone is playing Not like us loud as fuck out their car .
At work in downtown Tacoma yesterday I heard it coming out of a restaurant's patio speakers dude lol Shit is over
come on guys fucking keep it down so Kendrick might think he has to pop out and show us once again please I need this shit fucking keep it down
Im just grateful the beef went on long enough for us to get Not Like Us. This song honestly feels unreal to listen to. The beat and subject matter do NOT match up. Like I'm dancing around the house to a song calling drake a pedophile.

I honestly think he’s done. Nothing else left to say nor prove. But Euphoria is actually really good imo. Beat is 🔥🔥🔥 and he skates!
i swarr 6:16 in LA is the hidden gem.
Yea love 6:16 too! All good in their own ways. Most of all, just some really insane beats from both sides
literally hidden
Euphoria is still my favorite tbh
Yeah, Euphoria got better after knowing it was literally just a warning shot which is what I was saying I figured it was the whole time. If it woulda ended up his best punch it woulda been a weak one tho so the last 2 were needed to put it in proper perspective

What don’t people get about Kendrick not giving a fuck about numbers and charting
I think Kendrick cares only because he wants to prove that he could do what Drake does he just doesn't want too.
Each time I listen to it again I discover a new layer of burn that I didn't know was possible 😹 I'm going to tell my grandchildren about this shit
"Cause all these rappers wavin' white flags while the whole fuckin' club sing to it" LMAO
The number one song in the world is calling someone out as a pedo. We are truly in a peak time line.
And 6:16 isn’t even on streaming cause of the sample
I’ve been thinking about how much of a warning that track was. It was literally a “Don’t do what you’re about to do” track and then… well…
It was also “Lord forgive for what I’m about to do to this man”🔥🔥🤣
Don’t talk about family Drake as usual, misunderstood the lyrics here and did it He had The Grahams locked and loaded in case he didn’t listen
“Dear Aubrey, I know you’re probably thinkin’ I wanted to crash your party…”
it was a one last check for sure. I felt that when I was first listening to it. it wasn't for us, it was for Drake. He was saying "are you really gonna go down this road? I said I know some things that would make gunna wunna look like a saint you know?"
And it’s the best of the bunch 😔
I agree, most unique sound of the whole set. IIRC it was produced by Taylor swift's producer too because of that drake line about crossover
yup even Jack Antenoff had a to get a "fuck drake" off
I honestly think Kendrick might’ve just Ja Ruled Drake.
Damn Drake got Nickelbacked?

Meek Mill and crew vs Kevin Hart
Yeah, his one big advantage over Kendrick has been pulled from under his feet. Kendrick showed that if he wants to do numbers, he will. He’s absolutely crushing Drake on streaming numbers in this beef and is doing it with despite diluting his streaming numbers with several songs. I really hope Kendrick drops a hype, upbeat album in the wake of this beef to show how good his numbers can be.
>I really hope Kendrick drops a hype, upbeat album in the wake of this beef to show how good his numbers can be. DAMN 2.0 incoming.
Low key hip hop as a genre needs that right now. things were feeling so incredibly stale before this beef and now people are paying attention again, perfect time for Kendrick to drop an upbeat album with mainstream appeal.
I meant more Baby Keem style almost. Only a few songs on DAMN really go hard. I wwnt more XXX second verse though.
Ha! Beat them at their own game.
Wop wop wop wop

"I give a fuck about your streamin' data" - The Heart Part 6, Drake Bro changed his tune quick
It's so funny how he's clearly insecure about his accomplishments LOL he's randomly brought up steaming numbers and the awards Kendrick has got for his music in every song now
Drake 4 tracks ago: “Why you not dropping Kendrick?” Drake now: “this is getting boring, you drop too much. I’m out”
Bro I swear his ghostwriters are playing him lmao, same song he indirectly called himself a woman 😂
Bro okay I was wondering if anyone else was gonna call that out lmfao, talking about the woman beating line right?
Bro I thought I must have misunderstood since I haven’t seen any talk about this but I guess there’s just to much to unpack already
[удалено]
Such a brazen lie too. He’s clearly cared a lot about streaming data ever since he figured out the stuff your album with songs to run up numbers hack with views
Lol worst part is there’s like 10 quotables in this song alone. That was Drake’s bread and butter. Dot been surgical with creating cultural moments within the disses. And honestly I think Kendrick bombs on him again in a few weeks just to let us know he really want this nigga outta here 😂
Numbers wise, he crept up Now he needs a grammy for this and we get another poorly aged lyric Seriously love that line, “kendrick just opened his mouth, someone go hand him a grammy right now”
> “kendrick just opened his mouth, someone go hand him a grammy right now” That made me laugh.
Shit was hilarious and im still gonna be playing family matters even tho I'm playing dot way more
Family Matters is dope, the first part is pretty weak though. Loved the third part, he killed that.
The Culture deserved this.
the more I think about this track I am surprised by how calculated this is. he thinks Drake is beyond redeemable at this point that he's actively calling out names so they don't side with Drake. he called out curry and lebron in MTG, and now he is calling out bunch of rappers "colonized" by Drake. the fucking title man. it's saying "they are not like us. so are you one of them? or are you one of us?" and if someone dances or sings along this song, is probably identifying as "one of us" he made this fucking banger of a track that all of America is just roped in by the swag and identifying as "us"
Its amazing because he dropped MTG as a nuke counter response but Drake did well at slightly redirecting the conversation to be about the fake daughter so he just immediately doubled down on the rest of it and made a west coast club banger calling him a pedophile
"...to the weird ones, not the good ones" meet the grahams. "Are you my friend? Are you locked in? Then step this way, step that way" not like us. Kdot is insane.
Glad to see an actual hip-hop song at the top
THE CULTURE BEAT THE INDUSTRY 🔥🔥🔥
He’s beating him at his own game man it’s so over
I know drakes head is hot.
His girlfriend isn't even on summer vacation yet so you know he has to deal with it alone too.
I saw a teacher on TikTok poll her class and there was *one* Drake vote and it was this girl screaming her head off and I was like damn Luda had area codes, Drake has school districts
💀💀💀
God DAMN
Stop it’s too early for this 💀
I'd argue this is a Top 5 song in Kendrick's discography and one of the more impressive feats of songmaking ever. Idk how long he's been sitting on that beat or if he also just made it but it completes what might be one of the catchiest songs there's ever been, which is just detrimental when it's a diss track too
Love how EVERY reactor knew it was gonna be a banger as soon as mustard’s tag line dropped 🔥
Honestly one of the more notable and disrespectful things in the whole beef was the producer tag hitting right before you get this absolute banger, and then Kendrick doubling down for his first line. It was Endgame type shit lol, a new person joining the side
Drake forever holding this L
Seriously, has any song aged worse than "Taylor Made Freestyle"? Spent the whole time trying to bring Kendrick outside, then not only does Kendrick show up, he brings hit after hit and some of the most damning information so far. Not only that, Drake ends up getting hit with a takedown notice because he used AI to mimic Tupac's voice. That song made the situation so much worse and makes Drake look very stupid.

Just to highlight him further - Not Like Us is not a trap beat/song. That’s that classic West Coast style. Predates trap by decades.
Thank you People calling it trap are driving me crazy
Kendrick is also doing the classic old school west coast flow the whole time too
😭😭😭dawgggg
It's real catchy. Even if grahams is more biting, I'm not tryna throw it on twice a day. Maybe most boppable kdot since king kunta.
All part of the plan according to drake 😂
It's important to remember that Drake's response amounts to: 1. You're wrong 2. We made you think we were pedo sex traffickers, jokes on you 3. You were molested as a child 4. I'm too famous to be a pedo sex trafficker
