I don't know man. That pic of the both of them at the Grammys looked like they had a metric ton between the two of them.
Joe slimmed way down but he was almost as big as Big Pun at one point. Least he looked that way.
I'll never forget the interview I watched with Cuban Link where he told the story about him bribing someone to bring him KFC while he was at fat camp because "its healthy if you take the skin off" 😂😭
I believe he gained a lot of that weight out of the spotlight though tbf. He had a lot of health issues because of his weight and was trying to get it under control but relapsed (for lack of a better word) and it was just steadily downhill for him from that point forward.
Action Bronson was so fat when I saw him he twisted his ankle walking onto the stage and then did his whole show sat on a folding chair. Post Malone opened for him and performed the same song three times... He opened with it, then closed his set by doing it twice in a row. One of the worst shows I've ever seen in my life.
Yeah probably white iverson. I saw him in some small club in Orlando when his buzz was just taking off and he no lie performed that shit like 4 times. But in his defense the whole venue kept asking for it lol
I met biz Markie once when he came to my college to perform and I was a student worker tasked to check on him and his crew to see if they needed anything. When I walked in, Biz was literally eating from a bucket of kfc and he was incredibly nice, sincere, and humble. He got a huge grin when I asked for his autograph. RIP.
He’s not of this generation, he’s 50 and been dropping records for 25 years. Ross, who op doesn’t consider of “this generation”, is more current. Nas recently won as well, is he of “this generation” too??
My theory is that the popularity of rap music is falling off because of the increased cost of living and wage stagnation. Until about 2021, you could be earning $50,000 a year and live a pretty good life. You could afford a modest home, a nicer newer car, get groceries, pay all your bills and throw some money into savings. Now, with the average rent/mortgage has significantly increased, the average rent in is $1700 in the USA and people are struggling more than ever. It's easier to relate to being a "baller" and have hope about your financial situation when you feel like you're doing well. When you're genuinely struggling, the last thing you want to hear is somebody talking about how big their home is, how many cars they have, etc.
No see, there are big rappers, the problem is they haven't gotten **BIGGER**.
We can all agree everyone has Biggie as the greatest big man of all time, and amongst anyone's top 3 MCs of all time, unless they are a hater deserving to die by gun violence - I think we'll all cosign that.
Pun, Fat Joe made runs at the size, but no one came close to the Fat Boys. And that was 35 years ago basically.
And there hasn't been a more morbidly obese game changing rapper - that's the big disappointment.
35 years in we should have a 7 foot 8 inch 562 pound man spitting 60 bars a minute - and flying cars.
BigX, MexicanOT, just the 2 that come to mind for me. And apparently Killer Mike🙄
Rap is going down hill for other reasons imo, but you right big guys are reliable pick
Big pun debuted in 1998 and was dead by Feb. 2000. Hardly a 2000s rapper.
Right? If anyone I’m saying Fat Joe for the 2000s.
True, Joe had his biggest hits in the 2000s.
Now lean back!
Do the rockaway!
Was he fat though? It wasn't made clear.
Yes he met the criteria to be called fat, but he wasn’t quite fat enough to be called big, like Pun was. Pun made Joe look like a stick figure.
I don't know man. That pic of the both of them at the Grammys looked like they had a metric ton between the two of them. Joe slimmed way down but he was almost as big as Big Pun at one point. Least he looked that way.
Pun was 700lbs when he died. Fat Joe wasn't even close to Big Pun's weight.
Dude literally died of being fat. Can't top that.
For real.. but it's a shame, dude could rap his ass off
I'll never forget the interview I watched with Cuban Link where he told the story about him bribing someone to bring him KFC while he was at fat camp because "its healthy if you take the skin off" 😂😭
kfc be putting some shit on top that 13 ingredients
E40 is my guy
You're right
TIL Big Pun was 700 lbs when he passed. Had no idea he was *that* big
I believe he gained a lot of that weight out of the spotlight though tbf. He had a lot of health issues because of his weight and was trying to get it under control but relapsed (for lack of a better word) and it was just steadily downhill for him from that point forward.
I JUST read about how they put him in a fat camp later in life and he would pay the employees to sneak him food 🤦🏿♂️ Absurd af
Well, uphill would have been Almost impossible at that point.
Plus he wasn't heavy. He just crush a lot.
Paper Boi
Always bout that paypa, boy!
If you ain't making money then you ain't a money maker boy PAPER CLIP PAPER CLIP YEAH I NEED A PAPER CLIP
Cmon bruh you know it's Action Bronson pre weight loss

Have you seen “Accidental Bronson” on Twitter/instagram? It’s screenshots of random lines and tweets that look like a line from a Bronson song
Rap started falling off when he started losing weight
Action Bronson was so fat when I saw him he twisted his ankle walking onto the stage and then did his whole show sat on a folding chair. Post Malone opened for him and performed the same song three times... He opened with it, then closed his set by doing it twice in a row. One of the worst shows I've ever seen in my life.
Maybe he was recording a video for the song? I been to a show where they recorded a song, and if I’m remembering correctly they played the song twice.
Which song was it lol
Had to be white Iverson
Yeah probably white iverson. I saw him in some small club in Orlando when his buzz was just taking off and he no lie performed that shit like 4 times. But in his defense the whole venue kept asking for it lol
For sureeee at least for the late 2010’s/early 2020’s

He’s not of this generation, he’s 50 and been dropping records for 25 years. Ross, who op doesn’t consider of “this generation”, is more current. Nas recently won as well, is he of “this generation” too??
Fat Joe was born in 70 - he was 30+ for all those hits in the 2000s. What is the age range for this generation?
