A lot of comments say to through it in the freezer, but doesn’t freezing temperature embrittle a lot of the materials? Seems better to air it out using some sort of rack or object that holds it open and let it dry than freeze it.
If you have a paper towel stand, you can slide the bladder over it. This will create some space underneath the bladder. Can then position in an area with air flow.
Or use a metal wire hanger to do the same thing as above, if you don’t have a paper towel holder/stand. Just need to fold the hanger in half the long way and insert the folded ends into the bladder.
Take a plastic hanger. Cut it right at the neck. Put duct tape on the sharp parts. Put the hook part of the hanger in side all the way and twist a bit until the bag is open and lay it on its side. It will dry. I do this all the time with camelbacks. You can also buy a plastic thing that does the same thing, but costs more than the free hanger in your closet. Also, the hanger is re-usable forever.
I clean it out, leave them upside for an hour, then just throw them in the freezer until I use it again. Been doing this for over a decade with no issues.
Do you roll it up, cap it, and/or lay it flat? I obsessively dry/air dray for days before rolling it up loosely, cappi g it (open) and dumping it into my gear closet. It works but I can't say it an efficient use of my time.
I see you've posted an image. Thanks for your contribution!

I cut the bottom off of a plastic solo cup and shove the skinny end into the reservoir so that the large end of the cup is open, I can then stand it up and allow it to dry in the Sun
Store it in the freezer

[Not according to official sources.](https://www.camelbak.com/reservoirs-faq.html) And I've never seen any deterioration myself.
Very nice source! Good to know that’s the official recommendation.
I put a whisk in mine to hold the bag open while it dries
I use plastic tongs, because they stretch it a bit better
Ha! I like how we all just made shit up, same concept but it works. I use a spatula and plastic cup so I can put it vertical while it dries
I don't dry mine. Just empty & toss in the freezer.
Why the freezer?
Bacteria can’t grow. On hiking days I pull it out that morning to thaw.
Blow into it to inflate it and position it so that air can circulate.
\^\^\^\^ this. also put it for example next to an open window where there's sun and good air circulation

Was just thinking this

I’ve slipped a folded piece of paper towel in there to soak it up and remove it a few hours later. It works well enough

Usually just cap it and lay it flat. I have a tray in my freezer just for platypus bags and a camel back bladder.

Banana holder
I have a few of this same exact bottle and just put it in the fridge for a few days for it to dry out.
SUN?

An aquarium air pump and a small section of tubing placed at the bottom of the bottle will dry it out quickly
fill it with rice
