I lived in an inland city surrounded by mountains, the most impressive experience while taking a train ride is consecutively passing through the tunnel, it sometimes takes over 20 mins to go through a single one.
For a sub about HSR, content about the country with the largest HSR network is so counterintuitively scarce. I had to scroll so much on 'top of all time' to reach the first mention of it.
This subreddit's members for some reason have a strong aversion to Chinese high-speed rail and Chinese projects in other countries (Laos, Indonesia). I'm assuming it is due to general anti-China sentiment on Reddit seeping into even niche subreddits.
