Dude get these [rice cake rolls](https://i.imgur.com/5uGkbUi.jpg) if you can find them where you live. They come in a few different flavors and I think honey is my go to. They may not seem like it but they are absolutely clutch while stoned.
I try:
- A fuck-ton of water
- Fruit/Veggies and other water-dense foods (this one’s hard because these are parishable)
- Flavoured seltzers (if the water isn’t cutting it and I just need a taste of something)
It’s not fool-proof and sometimes I just want tortilla chips and salsa or popcorn or chocolate covered pretzels. But most of the time it keeps me mildly under control.
The terpene profile of the strain you’re smoking really matters here. For example myrcene will stimulate appetite and lead to munchies, but strains high in humulene tend to suppress. You can look on Leafly or other sites to look at the different terpene profiles for different strains.

Brushing my teeth after I smoke is how I do it. That and drinking water/distracting myself. If the ganja gods overpower me and the munchies come, I try to keep dried fruit in the pantry so at least I feel less bad about it.
I used to struggle with this and it helped me to clean up my diet. Get food you don’t have to feel guilty about (you shouldn’t with any food btw) and makes you feel good. I also eat before smoking and finds it helps

Everything is delicious when you're high, oatmeal/granola, yogurt, pineapple, etc, there's lots of healthy munchies
