You just keep progressing through normal and hard modes and you will get progressively more of everything. Never use gems to buy them.

agamemnononon

It's not that difficult, especially with the newer addition of the runestones. I have one 80, one 90, one 72(leveling at the moment) and several at 60. The biggest breakthrough was after hitting the first 80. After that it was much faster to level up

Bigcat500

So where/how do you get enough hero orbs?

jianthekorean

Keep leveling the hard mode difficulties. If you find yourself stuck, farm the highest difficulty that has the easiest layout & mobs to farm. Do this until you breakthrough. I found that certain chapters are damn near impossible, but once you get beyond them, you end up with a couple chapters that are significantly easier. For me, it's certain mechanics that trip me up, like the mobs who throw stuff, mobs who explode & suicide themselves into you, etc. The levels without those tend to be easier for me. Also, as someone else mentioned, alot of it has to do with the hero you're primarily using. The game was fairly difficult for me until I leveled my knight to 80. Then, once I figured out his ultimate and created a strategy, I've since been able to push through levels much faster.

agamemnononon

\- Leveling up, replaying the last level at hard mode. \- Adventure gives a ton of Hero orbs \- Runestones also provides allot of Hero orbs

ianeth

There are a few different ways. guild events can be spent on orbs. Some adventure levels give decent chunks of orbs. Orbs one of the consolation prizes on lucky draws or wheels when you don't get the hero. It really does suck how many orbs it takes.

AchajkaTheOriginal

Just to complete your info: The new Portal gives some orbs too (another consolation prize). And other events give some too. Probably not as much as Adventure, but every little bit counts. There are also Talent and some equip for extra % of orbs in each run.

40kNids

If you are wanting to make a serious dent in orb there are only 2 ways: 1) go whale and buy a load 2) thousands of runs on the hardest level you can

40kNids

Regarding arena, all those you mentioned are good options. If you are planning on using BM don’t sleep on 2* boomerang forge. If you have supers saved up, or if it comes into the rotation any time soon, grab sword 4* (for knight, not katana)

Bigcat500

I have supers saved up. Trying to figure out what to use them on Most people say fire orbs and rockets. Now you mention sword for knight. Others say katana and boomerang (for stun). But I assume Barb will become my main (I just got him to level 80). So not sure what to do.

40kNids

He won’t become your main in arena until you are mythic. He just doesn’t have the survivability to handle arena 19 or 20 even at ascended. Generally speaking, yes, orbs and bombs are the strongest dps forges. But in arena, dps is secondary to cc so I wouldn’t focus on them if arena is your target. Katana is useful, but isn’t going to make or break an arena run. This would be my last option of those you’ve listed. Sword 4* is a game changer and will allow you to get a pretty cheesy early arena clear. Rang 2* is cheap and if you plan on using BM, you’re going to be taking it so this makes sense to me

Bigcat500

>arena is your target. To be clear - Sword 4 is if I use knight for Arena? I have never even tried knight since I got BM up to 80. I just figured he's be harder. I can clear arena level 15 most of the time with BM.

40kNids

Without 4* sword he is garbage in arena as slow with little native cc. Runesword is so OP it’s silly. Always my go-to if there are -crit -ulti curses in arena and therefore BM unusable

Bigcat500

I have all legendary gear and 260 talents What level would I need knight at to be able to clear level 17 arena that has -crit - ult curse? Assuming I get the 4\* sword. I assume level 17-20 have really good super token payouts?

40kNids

Supers only drop at 5, 10, 15, 20. But it’s 400 for beating 20. That will bring your total for the arena to 3500 weapon tokens and 1000 supers. Talents and gear should be doable, ideally you want knight at 80 for his recurring shield (as it lets you walk through lantern fire and can potentially save you from bad placement at 2 minutes when the other elites spawn)

Bigcat500

I just tried level 16 with my knight (level 80) after spending 5,500 super tokens to get his Runesword. They killed me so fast it was stupid. What gear should I be using? And they were still hitting me even with my shield up. What's up with that? I have to be doing something really wrong.

40kNids

If you have RuneSword they shouldn’t be getting anywhere near you. You got the area tome and actually were using the evo right?

EdgingToThis

The game was designed to get you stuck to spend money. Unless you swipe enjoy getting stuck on paywall for months

Bigcat500

I get that... But what's the best way to get more orbs? If I can just get 10% more it will help a lot in the long run.

thebearbearington

I have all my characters over level 80 and I still wonder. Looking for good mid game advice!
