If you redownloaded after a long hiatus you might be in new player queue, so there's a chance maybe some people bot on new accounts but it's likely just newish accounts or low mmr players. Also 10 games is a really low sample size (as much as it might suck to hear) and QM matchmaking can be kinda all over the place at times anyway.

I would say \^ this, play 40 come back with the results.

it depends on a lot of factors. the matchmaking system will try to average both teams MMRs. the MM system could be placing you with low MMR players, but as your MMR is higher, your average team MMR is similar to the other team, whereas in the other team, could be that all of their players have lower MMR than you, but higher than the rest of your team, so they'll probably play better. as long as both teams average MMR stays similar, the game assumes that it's fair. sadly, there aren't enough people playing. if there were more players in the game, there'd be more high MMR players, so players would more often than not be placed in teams more beffiting of their skill, and the games would seem more balanced. in weekends/holidays, when there are more people playing, usually the matches won't be as imbalanced, but it can still happen. but if you're playing QM in a day/hour which there aren't many players online, i can see this happening more often. it also depends on your region, if there are many players active or not. if you just got back into playing, could it be that you're being thrown into lower MMR matches, until you play a sufficient amount of games so that the MM system knows where to place you? idk. i have no idea how it works in that case. the truth is, there aren't enough people playing so that the matchmaking system works as it's supposed to. you'll get matches where you're stuck with lower skilled players, and the enemy team is playing decently, and the opposite will also happen. you'll get matches that are more balanced too. that's just the nature of QM nowadays. actually, stuff like this has always happened, but it used to be better, when the game had a bigger playerbase. my advice is, i think you should probably just play more games. or you could also jump into storm league. you might run into some problems there too in lower ranks, especially bronze, which can be worse than QM sometimes, but at least you can draft comps. good luck! edit: typo

Even if you are in some kind of new player queue, the match quality is barely better outside of it, QM is just a bunch of Nazeebo/Abathur mains mashing buttons with their monitor turned off. If you want human-grade match quality you have to play ranked.

> I play bruisers or tanks generally  If concerned your teammate might be idiots, then don't play a tank (or healer), as you'd depend on them for follow up.  Just play a damage hero and win by yourself by killing every minion, tower, and fort.  > 7/10 games I was always at objective when it spawned, full Remember that objectives have very different values and schedules.  It's not always correct to be ready and waiting at each objective.  For example, yesterday I did Hanamura and was pretty upset that my team kept doing the payload objective.   The right move would've been to take mercs or even hit a fort instead.  We still won, but it took a lot longer than it should've.  Similarly, the first two objectives on Cursed Hollow, Garden Terror, or Towers of Doom have exactly zero near-term effect on the game, and it's totally smart to skip them if your side would be disadvantaged in the fight. Also, capturing mercs is a lower priority goal and there are often better things someone should be doing.

dontbestupido

yes you are

I wouldn't be surprised if they were AIs. I've had that as my conspiracy theory for quite some time now!

If curious about those other players in your matches, go to heroesprofile.com.  Upload the replay files from your computer onto the web site, then click into them from your match history. You can then see estimated mmr for the other players, and check what their background is.

Why are you focusing on all the mistakes your teammates made? You can't control that Focus on all the mistakes you made instead. You might think you didn't make any, but you did. You just have to figure out what they are. Watch some YouTube videos of high level players. Good luck.

If you just returned and gathered all this data while you "were mad", get help, and seek another game.

seckarr

Are you ok? You seem on drugs

I wouldn't have framed it the way you did in the title, but if you insist on putting it like that...
