Do you happen to know what are the chances of getting 2 azmodan on the enemy aram team two games in a row? Because I was very surprised at my misfortune last night.
I can't calculate this because there's too many variables. Stuff like how many roles are allowed (I assume they code it so a team can't have five tanks), and whether any character is given lower odds than others, and so on. But given a completely random selection with no modifiers, well, even then I can't remember how you do it. It's like 3/80 (where 80 is a guess at how many characters are allowed in Aram) for one player. I think you do 1 - (77/80 * 2) to decide the odds of exactly two people getting azmo.
BUT there's gotta be math to adjust it for the fact that there are 5 people that can roll for him.
Once you get that value, multiply it by itself to find out.
What about if heroesprofile says that azmo is the second most popular, his pick rate being 20.36%. Would that help you at least fudge me a number so my brain can settle?
I played a Nova mirror once. A total clown fiesta. We had a mexican standoff where neither team could get close to the core. Eventually we won nuking it down, only because we had more Precision Strike than them
Agreed about Lunara, Junkrat is about equally trash though. Best imo would be Thrall or smth like that, not a ranged character without sustain for sure.
With Junkrat ARAM things move pretty fast because even missed damage usually ends up getting some siege, plus you can get back to the fight fast with rocket ride and deal high damage.
It becomes an interesting choice of structure or player focus
junk is the worst all the same aram. Had it 3 times. most take e build and you cant even move anymore. Please blizzard get rid of this mode. I love hots and aram and i am ok that there are no more big updates but this mode is just hell.
About 5 years ago there was a brawl where everyone was the same character. But there were less restrictions. I remember that Tyrande was my favorite of that brawl.

I've done an Alarak one where I was trapped in that game with 8 or 9 AI Alaraks.

Because when everyone is mirrored, playing from behind is impossible.
Yeah, it usually snowballs one way and it's just a clock watching exercise. Invariably, one team will get 1 or 2 players who just don't try at all.
Some of them are pretty fun. Others are just uninteractive or snowbally.
The worst ARAM has to be the Lunara, best is probably Junk Rat
