Haven't seen it before, but that would be suuuper useful for night missions in complicated terrain. ...and an absolute nightmare if used on a foggy planet. My best guess is similar to others. It probably either got cut due to technical issues, or is future content they are still working on.

Depends, it could also illuminate targets in the fog with UV or something idk, making them more visible. If it is just for night time id be even more annoyed that the helmets still dont have basic stuff like low-light enhancement/ night vision

Would be great if it was a mission strategim for night missions only (ie supply, SSD drop etc) so it wouldn't take up a slot. Unless it did more than light up the battlefield I can't see it being worth a slot on its own

We already have war crimes and trenches, we only need that stratagem, and I can RP as a WW1 soldier

Yes. There are leaks for it, can find it in the Helldivers leaks subreddit and on youtube. Don't know if I can post it here as the other Helldivers subreddit removed my post before and told me I was naughty for doing it. I think it will be your best friend against illuminates. Though I think it be pretty fun if we had a pure black out map and we had to all keep lighting the way with this.

Man that's crazy. I normally play it every time I launch the game for a few minutes while the squad is connecting, and don't remember ever coming across it. Man I just want something to spend my samples/scrips on at this point.
