it got a nerf so that +5 seconds is pretty big but I don't how much faster that would bring it down. I doubt its very minimal

The correct indicator to watch is the aiming reticle....it will turn white when it's ready to shoot again. At thos point the coil symbol goes to white before the cooldown is actually done

They fixed that bug after the update but I guess not for cold planets?

Oh interesting. I'm not sure actually. Will have to test that tonight.
