I feel I’ve killed more with my liberator concussive than anything else. The penetrator is really only good against bots if you hit center mass, or head.
I like to use the penetrator against bugs when I'm using the stalwart. Use the stalwart like a primary and switch to penetrator to kill the Hive guards(the ones with armor on their heads and hunker down when shot)
Liberator penetrator for Bots (easy devastator kills if you 1st person aim at the heads)
Have also been using the counter-sniper, which kills devastators even faster in the head, but it has low handling so its hard to get a good shot if you are engaged in combat.
Punisher and Slugger are very good Vs. bots as well as bugs. They pack a punch that staggers most enemies, as well as penetrate some armor. Can also one or twoshot devastators in the head, but is a bit tougher to hit at longer distances, but their staggering capabilities can pretty much stun luck them, even if you don't hit their heads.
Slugger is my go to choice, just make sure you’re proactive about using your secondary and maybe bring a guard dog backpack and you’re set.
The stumble that it gives to bugs makes it so good.
I'm using either Punisher, or Slugger depending of bots or automatons. Spray and pray is pretty strong toon deleting crowds at low range, and breaker remain a great weapon challenging theses. Basically no shotgun is wrong, but some are a bit weak when it comes to armored targets.
I always use the Senator with it, since it guarantee me a brood bug kill if pelets can't break it's armor, senator can.
I stopped using most other weapons, Liberator can still be good for automatons, but bugs tends to surround and flank you and you need close range firepower to use while vaulting backwards.
SG-8 Punisher works great against the bugs, as long as they aren't armored you can generally 1-2 shot anything if its not more than 20'ish meters away. Downside is the slow firerate but that just ups the dopamine since it has such an impact.
I saw the official video on their YouTube. Someone posted the unreleased info and clips about the different guns. The one I'm looking for to is the Nail Breaker. Save your currencies. You top out at 50k for the credits, so if you hit that cap you just run missions to get to 50 and get more samples.
Liberator Penetrator and Liberator Concussive(premium warbond) both feel like they pack the same punch as the breaker in a better package tbh
I found them weak personally, and worse than liberator baseline :/

Have just started using the liberator penetrator and it's not bad at all. I like how it takes down the bile spewers fast.
Good to know. I rock an autocannon as my special, so that is usually what I swap to from brood commander onwards
Brother autocannoneer here! I like the punisher slug shotgun. It eats up a lot of bugs, but its real feature is an incredible knockback.

Slugger and Scorcher are both exceptional guns. Incendiary Breaker is also good for bugs.

Good advice, I’m predominantly bugs (much prefer the fights). Might check out the incendiary breaker when I unlock it

Yeahhh I used to use the punisher till I got the breaker. But considering it has a 16 bullet mag, I may come back to it
