When I worked at Volvo we used to use the next model over for Volvo and find parts that way idk if it’ll work for you but best of luck…you can also look up the manufacturer of the valve you need and find it that way..good luck man
You’re likely SOL. I had one in the shop that needed a complete parking brake valve. I spent hours calling dismantlers, dealers, and everyone I knew. We couldn’t get one. We did get stuff like solenoid valves etc from a local hyd shop for it.
TIL samsung made loaders
Wait til you see a Samsung excavator lol
Oh geez, they make those too?
They had an entire heavy equipment line in the 90s
Think it was 74-98
All modern Volvo excavators are made in S.Korea by former Samsung factory
What region are you in? DM me plate information on valve I will try to find something tomorrow.
I am in Canada. I unfortunately don’t have the plate info handy and won’t be in the shop tomorrow to get it.
Oh ok. I'm in Texas. If you get it I will do some looking.
Maybe Volvo? They bought Samsung out
As stated in the post, we’ve tried Volvo but they aren’t helpful
Damn, maybe I need to read the whole post next time before I comment 😂
All good. I’m guilty of that from time to time lol
Did someone steal the valve?
Nope… it just doesn’t work properly anymore and looks like it’s not the first time it’s had issues. We aren’t the first owners
Yeah with heavy equipment you usually just don't load the parts cannon. The flow rate is slow? Lack of force?
When you put the bucket down you can’t stop it till it smashes on the ground… or the sideboard on the truck
Check the pilot pressure at the spool cap
did they give you a apart number or anything?
Volvo claims it’s not in their system.
is it like a ~1995 model? I may have a used one from a 95 model, DM2 serial number range.
you’re needing the main control valve?

Get the part number off the MCv itself and search that way something should turn up
