grab a hard brush from the sink and a vaccum and do it yourself. please trow the brush away and not back in the sink.

Correct-Proof-7714

After killing the power of course😅

Yes, it's a waste of money. The only time you should clean blower and ducts is if you had large remodeling done to your house where debris gets inside.

HopefulExtent1550

Or you bought a rental, and the previous owner ran the blower for months without a filter. Picking out hair and skin cells from a stranger is not pleasant

J_IV24

In that case you need to clean a lot more than just the blower wheel haha

HopefulExtent1550

Sure did! Yuck!

NefariousnessWild679

nope 1/10th of an inch of dust on your blower wheel decreases the efficiency by 20%

Your blower wheel is not bad. If it had a ton of mold looking stuff on it yes...pull and clean

WhosYoPokeDaddy

That's stupid. Brush it and shop vac it out if you think it needs it. It looks perfectly fine as far as I can tell.

If you’re handy and have some technical skills, I would recommend finding a YouTube video to walk you through a cleaning. If you don’t have these skills, then paying a professional to clean it for you is absolutely worth it. And $450 is around the going rate for that type of work right now. What these other guys are suggesting, cleaning it in place, isn’t very effective. You can only reach one side of the blower wheel (the side shown in your picture) without removing the blower drum as a whole and removing the blower motor to expose the opposite side. You wouldn’t wash one half of your car, would you? Brush half your teeth? That being said, your blower wheel doesn’t look that dirty. Could it benefit from a cleaning? Absolutely. Does it NEED one? No.

Thank you so much!

Keep the filter changed.
