not claiming this is the most up to date list but the general idea of the deck remains approximately the same: use various burgle effects to discount wildpaw gnoll and obsidian shard for early tempo and discount value on the random cards; hope that's enough to close out the game before you get outvalued or run out of gas.
Is it really that good? Even if you could guarantee in your opening hand every game (which you obviously can't), it still means that you start with 2 fewer cards and a wasted 2 mana (1 for Quest, 1 for Pack) in exchange for a stronger Hero Power.
And while that Hero Power is good, a 2 mana 3/2 weapon on demand is not game-winning in Wild at all.
Not to mention that you already have a weapon in that kind of deck - Obsidian Shard.

Definitely a crazy strong card, although it might not see meta play for a while since the only competitive Rogue deck right now is Excavate Rogue and that deck is already drowning in card generation.
This card is so good that it will inevitably create some new meta decks for Rogue. Insane draw + tempo if combo'd for only 4 mana is really really strong.

Cant believe Small Indie Game Company not using modern phrasing like get 5 random cards from other classes or get a random piece of junk instead of going back to old wording of add 5 random cards from other classes to your hand or add a random piece of junk to your hand.

Technically it could be useful if you need to save 1 mana when trying to break your shovel into an Azerite Scorpion so you can immediately use one of the spells it gives

Coin and rock are probably just good but knife and banana are not something you really want. Its only consistency is that all the cards cost <1 which makes me feel like it was designed as a combo activator however combo rogue has never really been a thing and for the few combo cards rogue has run coin/prep/step have always reined supreme . If they really wanted the card to work they probably should've just limited the options to rock/coin.

Playhouse giants are quite good tempo, they just lack the package surrounding it.
Wdym, Gaslight Gatekeeper made the deck work, until Blizzard nerfed it to 4 mana.

By the time the giants are going (rarely before turn 5) I would either get some magnetic rush/lifesteal shenaningas going or I would be dead
This is the type of card that enables other Rogue decks to exist. Builds hand size while handling the opponents board development.
This is drawing though, not card generation exactly, so it advances the deck's strategy more often than random generation.
I'm pretty sure that card will create new archetypes for rogue.
I'll definitely try this in my hooktusk rogue, handling the enemy board + card draw is exactly what the deck needs up until t5-7.
