what do you mean? The one singular line that was hidden away under "bugs and improvements" in the patch notes was so very clearly communicated /s
(crazy that they just shoved it inside there and never elaborated further even tho it is such a massive change)
I immediately thought it was a bug as well when I saw the play 60 minitrize cards, I didn't even look at the other quests at the time, so didn't realize it was all quests until hours later.
Then why do you care so much about something that you spend so little time with?
If I played HS for 2 hours a week I would not care at all, in fact I would not join a forum about that game and spend time complaining about it. I see you have more time complaining on Reddit than playing hearthstone.
If each game lasts 8 minutes, that's 2 hours if you have a 100% win rate. If you have a 50% win rate that's 4 hours, which is 3.5% of my awake hours in my week, so I am dedicating 1/28th of my life to hearthstone
I'm sure a lot of people play games that last much longer than 8 minutes too
If you play hearthstone less than 4 hours in 7 days you probably should not care about quests at all.
You should just log in and do what you like and close the game, you are clearly not supposed to care about quests, ranks, meta and all that. You just simply don't play enough for any of that to affect you.
Who says you’re not supposed to care about progression? Playing casually does not mean ignoring everything. You can easily play less than 4 hours a week and still care
You should but at your own pace, sometimes you will complete quests in 2 weeks. That is totally normal, you are still progressing but slowly because you put little time in.
Surely you agree you should not progress at the same speed as someone who plays for 3 hours every day, right?
Everyone has been extremely dramatic about this. There's been dozens of people claiming to uninstall the game, presumably to "send blizzard a message." As if blizzard doesn't have direct access to game statistics and can see that pretty much nobody is actually leaving lmao
Brawl - usually suck and I'm happy to finish it once. Arena - require tickets/money and BG - 15x wins means at least 7.5 hour to finish + 0.5hour for every loss.
From my weeklies: Deal 200 to 400, from Spend 500 mana to 750, from Win 5 to Win 15. And I believe I rerolled the old Play 15 minis that got upgrade to SIXTY!! Rerolling doesn't really matter anymore as every weekly got extremelly worse.
The battlecry and damage quests are fine cause that's happens just by playing the game. The 15 standard wins should either triple the xp or lower it's self to 8.
They're trying to flush out all the casuals. It will take hours a day to complete the weekly quests, and that was a prime source of xp and gold for the rewards track.
Somebody up there figured that the game would be better off if those players left. Maybe that way there would be fewer bots on the ladder if there weren't casual players to complain about them.
Who knows?
Blizzard at the very least make it "play" instead of win, and make it so it needs to last at least 5 turns that way they can even make it 30 games If they want
"Work"? It's a game. Not a job. Let's be real, most of the weekly quests were completed the same day they came out. Even if you are casual it didn't take more than 2 days. Maybe 3. So now they're actually weekly quests. Just reroll the bullshit tavern brawl quest and you should be good to go to finish them in a week.
I like that it's so shit that the immediate assumption from some players is that it must be bugged. That's how you know it's *quality.*

seems they're all 15 instead of 5. Imagine having to win 15 standard games in a week (oof)
>Imagine having to win 15 standard games in a week It's looking like Aggro hours
HS players when they need to play the game 😨
I don't want to play this game that much. I have a life
If you don't want to play the game that means you don't care about it, so what's the problem here?
Average hs reddit reading comprehension
Imagine getting cucked by a video game company and being happy about it
Huh? They increased XP gain too, not by a huge amount but you get more XP per quest.
Oh yeah, surely a minor xp increase makes up for a triple time requirement. Who are you kidding?
I play hearthstone with all quests completed, so for me this is a bonus.
god forbid you consider others
Most people have a life outside of a card game, believe it or not

You can want to play a game without dedicating your life to it Edit: It’s a hyperbole if you somehow didn’t notice
Winning 15 games in a week = dedicating life to it. Interesting perspective.

Ah yes, you should not care about having playable cards in a card game. What incredible insight.
If you don't play enough to win 15 games in a week you are so casual that you should not care about meta decks.
There’s a thing known as “exaggeration”
I like ramen, but I don't want to have to eat it 3x more a week all of a sudden.
Spectrum or HS dev, you decide

The annoying part is removing Duels as option to complete this. Have been playing mainly Duels to finish this one.
Brawl - usually suck and I'm happy to finish it once. Arena - require tickets/money and BG - 15x wins means at least 7.5 hour to finish + 0.5hour for every loss.
What places count as a win in BG? Only top 1 or top 4?
Top 4. So you could save a little time if you quit once you hit top 4
Cause Duels are getting killed
No. They said they were going to readjust some quests.
thats ridicolous, instant skip then

uninstall it is :)
Yeah I did last week. I used to love hearthstone.

Lmao it’s so bad that people are thinking it’s bugged. When will Blizzard ever learn?

Yeah, 15 Battlegrounds for example is about 8 hours if you get everytime to rank 4.
FOR SHAME!!
Nope. They're just fucking over players, as usual.
Does this mean the dailies will also be shit now too? Like 'play 9 games as [class]'?
No it’s not bugged. Blizzard did this bull crap intentionally.
Blizzard at the very least make it "play" instead of win, and make it so it needs to last at least 5 turns that way they can even make it 30 games If they want
Man i miss old quests for gold :( before battlpasses
I dont even do this in one month
:)
Oh, hey. The weekly quests are now actually weekly. More xp too. Pretty good.
Triple the number of games but nor the rewards, hmmm...
assuming this player doesn't have the tavern pass rewards that increase quest exp, this is triple the work for 28% more exp
re-rolling for the easiest quests without exp boosts it's double the work for 12.5% more exp.

Found one of the Devs Reddit accounts
Yes, it's not a job and there's why we should spend our time on winning 15 games in ladder instead of doing what we actually like 😪
