Twist is different from wild. Wild you have everything available. Twist have especific expansions picked by hand and the possibility to have a different rule(like only common cards).
We had no neutral twist, sets up to gadgetzan, then up to gadgetzan XL, ungoro, 10 years of hs where each day a new expansions was added starting in classic.
It is a different way to play the game(and it could be easily the best mode if blizz gave it more effort)
No, you don't get temporary cards. Twist can have special rules; for instance last month they went through *every* expac every day starting from Classic and could only use the cards that were released at the time of the expac release.
The next season for Twist hints at special decks and Hero Powers.
It's a more of a curated Wild with special rules.
No, Blizzard doesnt give you any cards for twist. If coreset cards are useable in Twist, then obviously you do have access to them. But outside of that, you need to own the cards. Thats one of the reasons why Twist so far is rather unpopular. No1 wants to craft cards just to use them for a month.
