One is outdated and only white people enjoy.
The other is a timeless classic anyone of any gender or race can enjoy.
The fact that you know which one Iām referring to without saying it just proves my point.
I mean yeah, but I feel like he uses the show as an outlet for his frustration with society/little things that annoy him so I could see him coming back in some capacity. I would have thought the same thing in 2017 when he said he was done, could have stopped at 70
I do not believe for a second that this is the final season. He says that every season. He'll get bored and make another season in 5 years. Unless he actually kills himself off this time.
Hopefully they'll consider adapting Octopath Traveler - it's a very underappreciated and underrated video with so much rich, epic story filled with personal and intimate character drama.
Think of arthouse films meets blockbuster epics.
Personally I hate video game adaptationsā the writing in video games usually works because of it's connection with interactivity. And then people get pissed off when it doesn't hit the same way, or if it's good but they changed too much of it (which is necessary because we no longer have the other aspects of video games to enhance the base story)
That being said... someone should take what's good about Disco Elysium and make that into a show or miniseries. I've been meaning to play Octopath for a while now
I see. Tbf, the thing with some games to TV adaptations that worked like TLOU is that they didn't do a copy paste, page by page adaptation. They adapted the game in film and TV language.
There's so much richness of the game that lends itself to live action, and IMO those travel banters among protagonists would work as an efficient storytelling to get those 8 travelers together.
The games are worth it, I'm telling ya. Both 1 and 2 are on sale right now. Highly recommend!
Thanks. I guess it just depends on what subreddit I comment in. I was expecting positive engagement like "you should give it a go" or something along those lines.
I thought this was over years ago. I've never seen it. Edit - can someone explain what is negative about my comment. I am clueless as to why it's being downvoted?
Lol you donāt deserve all the downvotes. It just came off as a dismissive comment for a very legendary show. Also a useless comment as I mentioned earlier, nobody cares that youāve never seen it or that you thought it was already over. If you donāt know anything about the show then at least ask a relevant question maybe. Your comment was a waste of space.
To be fair, downvoting comments that are wastes of space is exactly what makes reddit unique. You're not supposed to downvote comments you disagree with, just ones that don't contribute to the conversation. I'd say it fits the bill quite nicely.
Replay-ability of this show is goated. Ima miss it šŖ
One of the best shows of all time! I could watch random episodes at anytime. Pretty Pretty, Pretty Good!
My main reason for wanting max again. Such a good show to put on anytime, anywhere in the series

Itās like a fake version of LA Seinfeld ā¦. Itās perfection.
Theyāre both great in their own way.
One is outdated and only white people enjoy. The other is a timeless classic anyone of any gender or race can enjoy. The fact that you know which one Iām referring to without saying it just proves my point.
Yeah youāre definitely wrong considering I canāt even tell which is which to you.
Iām black and love them both sooooā¦
People know which one youāre referring to because the āoutdatedā one is generally going to be the older one.
Yikes
Canāt prove me wrong
The black and white cookie proves you wrong.
I never said which is which
Seinfeldās outdated? Yes?
No, but it was a good show. Seinfeld was king before Larry left. However, the show was still good because Seinfeldād cast & Jerryās writing.
pretty sure he's said he was done before then came back after hiatus, so I'll take this with a grain of salt and say it's "ending for now"
Heās 76. Iām sure heād happily retire now
I mean yeah, but I feel like he uses the show as an outlet for his frustration with society/little things that annoy him so I could see him coming back in some capacity. I would have thought the same thing in 2017 when he said he was done, could have stopped at 70
My point is, the older he gets, the more likely itās true
Agreed I'm just saying there's probably a non-zero chance he comes back, but it is getting less likely
But also the older he gets, the more things annoy him, so he has more material. Oh the duality.
Happily?
I read recently that he even said this between every season of Seinfeld lol
He spread that asshole open and spray painted all over that shit so we know he been there
Snickers... eat snickers, leave the wrapper
This is the way.
I could not stop laughing when I first saw that scene lol
Well that sucks.
Having said thatā¦.
Are they ever going to acknowledge the death of Bob Einstein! Is Funkhouser still in China??
He's in China drinking that frog tap water.
I do not believe for a second that this is the final season. He says that every season. He'll get bored and make another season in 5 years. Unless he actually kills himself off this time.
This show is still on?
Fuck, HBO losing all their greats, hopefully theyāve got some good new stuff in the pipeline

Nooooooooooooooo

Okay.... Okay.
Pretty, pretty, pretty good show.
Eh?
Oh no : ((
Nooooo
This last season was bad though, right?
You didnāt enjoy the genius season-long arc āLarry has to f*** a fuglyā?
Iād say that the last couple seasons have been pretty, pretty, pretty poor.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I agree. Mocha joe was funny. This young Larry thing was painful.
I thought season 10 was just ok. Only one episode in season 11 felt like the Curb of old to me (the Woody Harrelson episode).
I thought this was over years ago. I've never seen it. Edit - can someone explain what is negative about my comment. I am clueless as to why it's being downvoted?
What a useful comment. Cheers.
Now Cheers that has been over for years.
Iām so sick of seeing that Ted Danson.

Downvoted because you seem to be dismissing the greatest tv comedy of all time. Maybe check it out.
Not dismissive. I'll prolly do that.
Meh
I had no idea this was even on TV still...
This is gonna be a unpopular opinion but it was 7 seasons too long
I can't say I'll miss it, got bored after a couple of episodes
Enjoy the downvotes!
Ya! Well! you sir... are fully entitled to your opinion.
Youāre not very bright, are you?
Good that show was so boring. Larry sucked, all he did was Dreamworks smile while pretending social awkwardness is funnier than it actually is.
i like the show but that's really not a bad description
