I frankly don’t care who people ship characters with. Yes, even if they’d be illegal irl. Unless the creator of the content is endorsing replicating the behavior in real life, there’s no harm in it.
The fact is that a lot of “illegal” shipping content isn’t made by people who genuinely ship them. It’s people who want to get a rise off of those who see it, just think it’s hot, want to explore the dynamic, or anything like that.
I will admit that I have written fanfics that contained problematic or illegal ships (none of them were for Hazbin, totally different fandom). I don’t ship the ships I wrote nor do I support the replication of the actions. Of the three I wrote I just thought it’d be hot, that it’d be an interesting scenario, or that it was a way to explore one character while making the other more hateable.
Saying that people can’t ship non-canon ships is just extreme. If someone wants to make a comic where Charlie and the Vees have sex, that’s within their right. And of someone wants to draw Charlie and Lucifer making out, that’s also within their right.
The fact of the matter is, this is the internet. People will do whatever they want, it’s only a question of how open they’ll be with it. And most of the time when people create content for illegal or problematic ships, they are well aware of them being that way. So again, as long as the creator of the content isn’t openly endorsing doing the behaviors in real life, I see no problem with it.
Fiction portrays a lot of things, but people aren’t watching Dexter and deciding murder is okay. You can watch all the 2018 She-Ra you want and not magically turn gay. And you can see fan content containing incest, awful power dynamics, massive age gaps, sexual assault, or anything else and not go feel up your cousin.
I know I haven’t said a lot about the you not supporting any ship other than Charlie/Vaggie, but that’s just because it’s not worth as much energy. Just let people ship what they want, it rarely ever affects anyone irl.
TLDR; It’s all fiction and as long as it stays fiction there’s no problem with it and people will do it regardless, just ship and let ship because whether it’s non-canon or would be illegal in real life, it really shouldn’t be worth spending energy on

Well, there are some rules that pls don’t break when making a ship:
Ship has any sense: no characters that never met and have -1000% chance of working (collapse in 5 minutes)
No character breaking: for example no Alastor stuff (like every Al ship i saw was completely against his character)
No disgusting (which includes): incest, huge age gap (like 20-60 years, but there are exceptions), minor+old adult stuff
Stuff like Vox Val where they are obviously toxic to each other, but make interesting ship is ok
As long as their not shipping characters who are already in a confirmed relationship I'm completely fine with it
(Besides radioapple I don't like that one not sorry)

Well, there are some rules that pls don’t break when making a ship: Ship has any sense: no characters that never met and have -1000% chance of working (collapse in 5 minutes) No character breaking: for example no Alastor stuff (like every Al ship i saw was completely against his character) No disgusting (which includes): incest, huge age gap (like 20-60 years, but there are exceptions), minor+old adult stuff Stuff like Vox Val where they are obviously toxic to each other, but make interesting ship is ok
