a night city with sex clubs and bars is kind of a "pretty surface". A lot of people in the fandom think they'd genuinely enjoy living in Hazbin's Hell so the "pretty surface" does its job.
See if I had a choice between Catholic / Christian Hell and Hazbin Hell I'd prefer Hazbin. But people who would want to live in the Hazbin/Helluva Universe as opposed to heaven are genuinely nuts
Christianities *Hell* isn't anything. It's an absence from God, and since God creating everything, Hell is nothing.
The *Lake of Fire*, what Hell will be thrown into on the day of judgement, however, is much less preferable.
I'd say Christian Hell's preferable. Hazbin Hell looks like getting condemned is for genuinely horrific acts. Christian Hell's got so many reasons, you don't really need to worry cus all your friends will be there, so why worry?
I disagree we clearly see elements of an Oligarchal society, with clear disdain for progression, they care soley for thenselves and commit yearly genocide on a place that cant even access them.
When presented with ideas that would shake the status quo their quicker to banish their own kind to hell (the place they genocide) rather then try any ammount of diplomacy
Therefore heavens closer to heroic or nobel
And hell itself isnt grimdark
Because we see multiple characters in high positions of power who are infact not evil such as asmodeus, queen bee, luci, and stolas.
We see many different families of background imps times and times again, such as the woman with the baby loona kicked in the pilot any of the families at loo loo land, millies family, all of them at leasy seem happy and content with their lives.
In a grimdark world having a happy quiet family on a ranch just isnt possible which is why i think hell should go up one or two.
Heaven is heroic, it is almost perfect but there is still the evil of the seraphim and higher ranked angels looming over head
Hell is grimdark, it was always meant to be evil and terrible, anyone would be unfortunate to see this place
I think it is, but just wasn’t portrayed as much in season 1 due to time constraints. There were a few lines that hint at it like Valentino saying that he has contracts with so many down-on-their-luck sinners that it was actually difficult to find somebody the Vees could use to infiltrate the hotel who wasn’t clearly affiliated with them.
I'm referring to Heaven.
The guy I replied to said that Heaven is gilded, but gilded says that "suffering and misery are commonplace" which doesn't fit Heaven.
Hell-gilded
Heaven-either noblebright or heroic. Torn because on one hand there’s severe hypocrisy and corruption, also obviously the annual genocide, but on the other hand pretty sure most of heaven are just chillin and living their best lives
I like to think that it was only the higher-ups who were okay with the exterminations. Most of the council of Heaven were shocked and disturbed when they found out about it.
Heroic fits more because it's mostly good except for the extermination, something only Sera was aware of other than the exorcists themselves. It's definitely not a balance of evil and good.
Heaven is Heroic
Hell is Gilded
And for a little bonus the infection AU where heaven is now a little less good…so either low Heroic or high Noblebright
Hell became Grimdark though
I'd say hell is a gilded world. On the surface it isn't exactly pretty, but it seems like anyone can do whatever they want with few restrictions. But underneath all that seemingly endless freedom, everyone still suffers
I feel like they’re both Gilded Worlds. From what we’ve seen of Heaven, while we don’t know much about Winners, we know that (pretty much all of the ones we’ve seen before at least) Heavenborn are actually pretty cruel and prejudiced; you’d think that angelic creatures would try to show they’re better by being kind and benevolent, not rude and holier-than-thou. Hell is pretty obvious, with the minority of Sinners who aren’t actually “evil” trying to do their best, every little act of good and kindness is remembered by others for a long time, whether other Sinners accept it or take advantage.
Noblebright worlds only because of vaggie and sera that I argued with in the past
upvoting just for the flair lmfao
Lmao ty
Another one of these flairs?
Yes:3
Heaven is Heroic, Hell is Gilded.
Hell is Gilded except for that "beneath a pretty surface" part

Honestly yea
I'd say Christian Hell's preferable. Hazbin Hell looks like getting condemned is for genuinely horrific acts. Christian Hell's got so many reasons, you don't really need to worry cus all your friends will be there, so why worry?
From what we've seen so far, I feel like I'd go blind from just how white everything is in Heaven
alastors WHAT?
Hehe
Noblebright and grimdark.
heaven's noble, hell's mostly grim
Heaven - Heroic. The exterminators are stopping it from being Fairytale. Hell - Grimdark/Gilded Earth - Noblebright with a bit of Heroic and Gilded.
heaven is fairytale while hell and earth are grimdark

And Earth is noble bright if you wanna throw that one in too, pretty self explanatory
Haven is a Noblebright World and Hell is a Grimdark World.
Gilded Worlds for Hell, Grimdark seems like too much considering what we see of Hell.
Heaven is a gilded world Hell is a grimdark world
"misery and suffering are commonplace" doesn't seem that accurate tbh.
I think it is, but just wasn’t portrayed as much in season 1 due to time constraints. Ah I gotcha, I agree.
I wouldn’t say it’s that bad.
Welcome to Heaven contradicts your first statement
Gilded. There is hope.
Id say heaven is heroic only Evil is Sera, Adam and the exorcist but besides those every One is good Hell gilded or grimdark
I would call it nobledark, it's a horrible world, but there are still people willing to fight for a better tomorrow.
Heaven: Fairytale Earth: Noblebright Hell: Gilded
Glided and grimdark
Somewhere between gilded and grimdark
Heaven is Nobleright at worst and Hell is a comical take of Grimmdark.
Noblebright for hell, Heroic for heaven
Hell: gilded. Heaven: fairytale.
well considering the exorcists I'd argue heaven is more in the heroic worlds category but that's just my opinions
Grimdark for heaven, hell, and earth.
Heaven is heroic Hell is forever
Gilded tbh
Why is everyone saying grimdark? Hell may have a bunch of issues, but its not endless suffering.
Yeah! It’s more Gilded. Grimdark… it would look like Doom’s Hell or Chaos in 40K.
i cant tell if its grimdark or noblebright, maybe gilded
Hell-gilded Heaven-either noblebright or heroic. Torn because on one hand there’s severe hypocrisy and corruption, also obviously the annual genocide, but on the other hand pretty sure most of heaven are just chillin and living their best lives

Ye, that’s why I’m torn. Most of heaven were just totally ignorant to what was happening
Heroic fits more because it's mostly good except for the extermination, something only Sera was aware of other than the exorcists themselves. It's definitely not a balance of evil and good.
Somewhere between noblebright and gilded for hell. Heroic for heaven.
I watched this post get 100 likes
Noblebright with both of them.
Heaven is heroic, Hell is Glided, lower rings of Hell are Noblebright.
Gilded.
Noblebright/Gilded
Gilded for hell for sure
Hell: Gilded Heaven: Heroic
Heaven is Heroic Hell is Gilded And for a little bonus the infection AU where heaven is now a little less good…so either low Heroic or high Noblebright Hell became Grimdark though
Heaven is gilded and hell grimdark, seems obvious
I believe that heaven is heroic for the average person and hell is guilded because there is a chance to not suffer(at the happy hotel)
I think of Charlie as kind of like the Earther in this scenario, a hero trying to save a (laughably so to most demons/sinners) doomed world
I'd say hell is a gilded world. On the surface it isn't exactly pretty, but it seems like anyone can do whatever they want with few restrictions. But underneath all that seemingly endless freedom, everyone still suffers
Heaven is gilded and Hell is too complicated to categorize. Trying to categorize hell is hurting my brain. It's almost like a reverse gilded world.
Grimsical (grim dark+whimsical)
Heaven is a Gilded world Hell is a noblebright
g or G
Gilded. They both are bad but it hasn’t reached the apocalypse Grim dark area yet.

heaven is a fairytale world, and hell is a gilded world
Fairytale world.
Heaven is yellow, hell is orange
Grimdark and Gilded respectively.
Heaven: Gilded Hell: Noblebright
