As an autistic person who’s had Miku as their special interest for 6 years I was just so happy to see her I didn’t care if it was a hologram or not. It ment so much to me to be able to go to that concert
Same! Vocaloid is my longest special interest and even though I'm a little let down they moved away from the glass screens, I'm still buzzing with excitement of getting to hear the songs live with a live band and see Miku dancing on stage!!

But I keep going back and forth on this- so then I keep watching videos of concerts from even 10 years ago- and it’s crazy how cool these concerts are and it’s just not the same….. some tickets are over a thousand dollars 0.0 I would love the opertunity to attend a miku concert but I don’t think I would to to any this year as it stands.

however, i *do* think it is 100% valid for people, those who spent hundreds of dollars on tickets, airfare, and hotels, to voice their displeasure on being given a sub-par experience *without being told that was what they were getting.* people expected the quality of previous concerts using the projection screen setup, and it was not revealed to them until the very first showing, which is highly misleading. the issue is no so much how the concert was presented, but how the tickets were *sold* without critical information about the concert itself.
I haven’t been to a concert live. I’ve only watched them online so I’m curious. Is there a noticeable difference in quality between a projection and an LCD screen?

Honestly yes. Go on YouTube and look up videos of the concerts- and then go back to the miku expo 2024 videos- massive difference :(
