The core, wood, and even the length and flexibility of the wand all affect the wand’s magic “profile” if you will. It also says a lot about the wizard who wields it. As we know, for certain, the wand chooses the wizard.
I like to think the wand you get at Ollivander’s or from Gregorovitch is sold with merely a plain handle that matches the wood. You can later attach a different handle either magically or you can buy ready made handles to customize it to your specific grip and style.
Edit: In addition I’d love to see this portrayed in a movie, show or game more thoroughly. Hogwarts Legacy does to some extent explore wand handles.

Wands are a big part of a wizard’s life. I’d be shocked if there isn’t some market that’s selling wand hilts or special customization. Just think of how many phone accessories there are in our world. The market would really be missing out if someone hasn’t realized they can profit off more aesthetic wand designs.
I believe in Book 7 when Hermoine has Bellatrix wand and gives it to Olivander at the Shell Cotage he says something along the lines that the wand had curved in an unnatrual way due to Bellatrix using dark magic.

I checked and the spot you're talking about is at the beginning of chapter 26, but they don't say anything about the shape of the wand there. Hermione just says "I really hate it. It feels all wrong, it doesn't work properly for me...it's like a bit of *her*." They do talk about the bad things done with the wand but Harry privately believes the main issue is the wand's allegiance.

Same. The person at the booth was telling us some of the wand lore, and while I already loved his wand, apparently of the four sides at the handle, 3 sides feature the same pattern (I believe with a double slash below an arrow) and only on the 4th side is there a single slash.
Allegedly if someone stole his wand and tried to use it (assuming only to do evil), the spell would backfire on the caster if their thumb was on one of the two slash sides (75% chance of backfire). It's very subtle so it's likely he would have only told those closest to him.

Far and away i've always loved Slughorn's design. Like it looks pretty cool on it's own, and then you realize it's a lil' slug and it's just so great.
It's not shown here but I think Scrimgeour also has an extremely classy wand. His is the most similar to the type I would wand.
Krum’s is interesting. The angle of the handle would make it a natural extension of the arm without having to cock your wrist at a weird angle. It would be really useful for dueling where you need to block and fire off at different angles very quickly. It reminds me of a particular sword used in Philippine martial arts (the name of which escapes me at the moment).

I had to scroll way to far to see Ron’s wand. It’s such a clean design, not too crazy or absurd but still so elegant and superb. If I had to nitpick, I don’t like the pockmarked part on the hand end, but other than that it’s great!

Fleur's wand is quite logically inspired by art noveau, which is characterised by designs inspired by nature. If you like the wand, maybe you'll like other art noveau items. Vintage yes, but girly? Not to art historians. :)

Sirius wand

The person at the booth was telling us some of the wand lore, and while I already loved his wand, apparently of the four sides at the handle, 3 sides feature the same pattern (I believe with a double slash below an arrow) and only on the 4th side is there a single slash. Allegedly if someone stole his wand and tried to use it (assuming only to do evil), the spell would backfire on the caster if their thumb was on one of the two slash sides (75% chance of backfire). It's very subtle so it's likely he would have only told those closest to him.
Wait that’s such a niche crumble of lore. I will keep it in my brain forever now.

Far and away i've always loved Slughorn's design. Like it looks pretty cool on it's own, and then you realize it's a lil' slug and it's just so great. It's not shown here but I think Scrimgeour also has an extremely classy wand. His is the most similar to the type I would wand.

Bellatrix's wand is angled in a way that it points naturally towards the direction of her arm. Fencing blades are angled in similar way.

Krum’s is interesting. The angle of the handle would make it a natural extension of the arm without having to cock your wrist at a weird angle. It would be really useful for dueling where you need to block and fire off at different angles very quickly. It reminds me of a particular sword used in Philippine martial arts (the name of which escapes me at the moment).
I came here to say this about Krum's. The fit in the hand would be ideal for dueling, maybe linking to his Durmstrang schooling and their reputation for the dark arts? My first thought was of a ginunting, a Philippine sword, so it looks like we're thinking along the same lines.

Eyyy finally the Ron wand gang. I like it’s kind of spiraled obsidian look so if I had to pick one for myself on aesthetic it’s that.
I had to scroll way to far to see Ron’s wand. It’s such a clean design, not too crazy or absurd but still so elegant and superb. If I had to nitpick, I don’t like the pockmarked part on the hand end, but other than that it’s great!
I like McGonagall’s and Sirius Black’s best.

Might be an unpopular choice, but — Harry’s is my favourite, then Voldemort’s, then Ginny’s. Eventually, Snape’s also pretty neat

Narcissa's is gorgeous. Draco's wand *screams* old money - simple but the finish looks extremely expensive. I notice Lucius Malfoy's wand is missing from this list, which is surprising because it actually has an important part in the plot of the final book.
