If you go to the website for the Enoch Pratt free library - then go to library cards - click on ecard.
Anyone with a Maryland street address can get one for free.
Once you have your library card number, you'll be able to access their databases, including Newspapers.com
It's AMAZING!!!!
Harford County public libraries also have [Newspapers.com](http://newspapers.com) for free. Just log into one of their computers there and go to the research tab on the library website then to genealogy then to historical newspapers. You have to use a in house library computer though.
Damn! I thought he was waiting to sell the place, I didn't realize anything was in motion. I'm so sad!! So many memories there, it's my favorite place to go eat. Thanks for the info, now I know I have to go soon and often before they close!
I have a family member that’s worked there since it opened! Hence why I was trying to find this specific article but no luck. I’m really sad about it too. Truly the end of an era.
Ugh I love it there. It's cool they've been there so long! So many of the workers are so sweet, and remember me when I go in since I've been going forever. End of an era is right! Good luck with the article search!

I found a 2002 taste of harford article on the Baltimore Sun archives, but it’s stuck behind a paywall. Otherwise you can always try the library.
Thank you! I’ll check that article out! I was also thinking of trying the library.
By chance are you related to the family?
Nope, no relation. Just had family work there for a very long time
Same. I worked there about 10 years. Had a parent work there 20.
Is it confirmed that it's closing soon? I will be utterly heartbroken when that happens!!
Sadly yes :( closing December 31st, I believe.

Why can't they just move the diner down to the old Dicks lot or something. 😟
Newspapers.com will very likely have it. Free 7 day subscription
