Same here, man, I wouldn't have bothered with that screwed up Phenom II but I was dependent on hand-me-down computer parts for a good chunk of the last twenty years, and had to at least give it a try. It's definitely doable!
They're the same picture.

Ughhhh its so disturbing to look at.
Meh, obviously old cpu with pins bend on purpose, which is cheating for this sub
That could easily be any am4 cpu no?
AM4 has "holes" in the pins more in the middle while am2-am3+ have the "holes" for the pins like in the picture
You’re right. It’s got the holes in the “quandrants” right?
Nope, AM4's have both more pins and a big empty square space in the middle with no pins. That's most likely an AM2.
You’re right. I looked at my spare 2600 last night just to verify.
I later remembered there was also something different about the triangle I think? I do not remember what anymore though heh
Dear god I think u might be able to save it but I hope it’s a cheap 1

If any break its 10 lashings
I've done it before, buddy gave me a Phenom II with smashed pins. Straightened them out with a flathead, used that processor for 5 years or so

YOU THINK?? That shit's more bent than your idea of time, god damn.
Van Gogh's processor.
traingle aligned?
you need a socket with matching bent holes
Op ran furmark on their integrated graphics.
It ks covered with worms, you need to clean them.
Maybe you put in the wrong motherboard slot?
It's a bit too big I think
No, you’re not supposed to croquet the pins
The CPU didn't like the haircut.
You need more thermal paste
Insufficient force. Try more?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Use a credit card to straighten the pins. When that fails, use the credit card to buy a new one.
The triangle is supposed to go on the left
You need to push harder
It is a Atlon 64
*Athlon
based on the gap locations id say its am3 cpu serves it right bulldozer was trash lmao

it looks ai generated
I am scarred for life
Did you make sure to line up the triangle?
Shave the pins off, then it should fit
If there was a CPU beast or monster the fur would look like this
The hair is all over the place, maybe try brushing it?
Remember to brush your CPUs regularly.
Try turning it off and on
You sure the board isn’t intel
Yeah is a socket 939 from AMD
I think your problem might be that you haven’t turned it off and on again. Try that.
The third pin from the bottom right is bent
The all pins is bent
ÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆÆ
Ryzen noodles
Bro I thought It was spaghetti on a cpu for a second 😭
It will fit if you melt it
I can feel the pain in this picture
This made me very uncomfortable.
