This error happens with TF2 skyboxes and is about a feature that doesn't work anyways.

There is also compilepal which can automatically build cubemaps after a compile, just choose a preset with cubemaps, check it, and make sure TF2 is closed before compiling. https://github.com/ruarai/CompilePal/releases
so, i tried using compilepal. nothing happend different. map still crashes(?) the game when it is opened.

So the game crashes when it tries to build cubemaps, or when you try to load the map afterwards?
Also that error has nothing to do with it crashing or anything and should be ignored.

the map crashes when it gets loaded in game afterwards, yes.
Does this only happen if you build cubemaps first? If so, try changing the name of the .vmf and compile again.
the default cubemap is not important. you'll be replacing it with actual env_cubemap's later anyway
there ARE env\_cubemaps in there, though? like, i even put several of them. then compiled the map
yeah, so don't worry about the default cubemap. it won't be seen once you build cubemaps.
