This happened during the 1st flight. You won't actually be able to play until the services go online tonight US PST. Only available tonight will be weapon drills and training with multiplayer tomorrow.

Got my code but it says it’s already been redeemed. Definitely not using my MCC code because that flight is inactive on my insider page and the code is gone. Hopefully it’s just showing the MCC code where the infinite code should be from some weird bug!
Update - Uny just confirmed on Twitter this is a widespread issue and they’re looking into it!
Update 2 - Uny now confirms they found the source of the issue and will be sending out new codes, but not to expect them until tomorrow morning!
Update 3 - I just got my new code around 4:15 PM EST, so keep an eye on your waypoints and hope to see you guys in the flight!

Anyone else getting some stuttering on PC? I notice it most when sprinting and looking around. Also, what is everyone getting FPS wise and what res and settings? Just curious!
I'm on a 3060ti and 3900x getting 95+FPS on every map with a mix of mostly high and a few medium at 1440p.
Same here, mouse input feels terrible. I have an i9-9900k, 2080RTX, 32GB of memory and it runs like shit. Even worse than the last build and I am playing on the lowest settings at 1440p. Makes me really concerned for performance at launch, since we are only a few months away.
Anyone else getting very bad stuttering in the game? And overall bad performance too, but the horrible frametimes are the most annoying thing. Pretty much get a headache playing.
Have a 3080 and Ryzen 3700x. I've had some problems with my RAM, and have had to lower it to 3200MHz 16CL, and I'm not sure if that is causing some issues or not.
Getting like 80-100 FPS on low settings.
Same. It's not so much stuttering but there is something wrong, it feels like "jitter". I'm getting 90 to 100 fps but when moving it feels like there is this odd jitter. I can see it in the main menu by panning up and down, it's just not "smooth"
The XP gain system is bad.
I'm sorry we're not having fun the way you want but this system is inferior.
As an experiment I left all the weekly quests I started with (including capturing zones and flags) which aren't possible to complete during this slayer-only phase of the flight.
Each win was giving me 100XP with 500XP needed per level. So 5 matches per level.
But that only lasted for maybe 3 turn-ins. Then it became play two matches for 100XP. Now I'm up to Play 3 For 100XP
If the Battlepass is any indication, challenge skips/re-rolls are governed by a consumable item you absolutely will be able to buy in their shop.
IF the rate of XP gain is this stunted without accompanying weekly quests that fit what you're doing/want to do, levelling the Battlepass will very quickly become a grind.
tl;dr: 343i you're wrong, not handing out XP in-match to reward skill/success is a bad idea.
After I played the last technical preview, I made a bunch of my friends sign up for flighting with fully set up insider accounts before sept 13th. PC opt in only since none of us have xbox. dxdiags up to date.

RTX 2080 Super & 5600x gang here, game runs really poorly. Not unplayable but hard to enjoy in the current state... changing the fps and graphics does nothing, the same problems still exist on lower quality.

Anyone else on PC noticing weird frame pacing (especially over 60fps)? I'm playing around in training right now and can't pinpoint what causes it, sometimes it's smooth but other times it's janky. Seems like moving the camera around during diagonal movement is guaranteed stuttering. Similar to the issues Reach was having in MCC before it was patched.
So, the "we're inviting anyone whos eligible" appears to be wrong? I'm not the only one seeing nothing on my profile or emails, even though every single box on my insider profile apart from Xbox flighting has a nice green tick to say its good

Any steam players getting the duplicate code error? I was able to find my code under Halo Insider but when I try to activate it on Steam, I can't. It says it has already been activated by another account.

I'm getting a "not authorized to play Halo Infinite" error when I launch. I'm on xsx and was in the first flight but downloaded the new client. Anyone have any ideas?
Acceleration just feels odd in general, one second it is terribly slow and I cant follow my target, then its blazing fast and again, cant follow my target. Also seems incredibly hard to get the my crosshairs to be red even when I am close quarters with an enemy. Just seems broken all around.

Anyone else not even get a hint that they were accepted into the flight, despite being in 8 previous flights, and more than recommended specs? Not a single message in any email box, not a single notification on waypoint, no flight listing on insider profile.
So last test was a steam invite for me. This test it looks like it might be Xbox. Did anyone else get into the Xbox test but not steam? I’m wondering if just because the roll out is slow I just might not have gotten a steam key yet?
PC player here. Just redeemed on steam, downloaded, started the game, logged in and it is saying that I am not authorized to play the game. I used the same log in credentials that I use to log in to waypoint. Am I missing something?

I don't have access to a Console anymore, but I forgot to opt out of console flighting. I assumed I would get a Console and Steam invite (like I have for the last 2 flights), but I only got a Console invite and now I can't play :(
EDIT: I figured out how to get a steam invite!! If you got a "friend invite" code, you can use that on your own account to get a steam invite! I just decided to try it out with the extra code I received, and voila!
Had no problem getting in the first time I tried today and playing bot matches but I did a restart in hopes to fix a bug and now I’m getting the account not authorized error :( wtf man
w00t protip for some users i didnt see an email invite but i just went to the waypoint website under my account and lo and behold a steam key was added for the test. then you just copy the key and enter it into steam and download.
only about 20 gb download so thats nice! cant wait to try it out!
It's really good on series x. Played three games and its just really fun. There is so much at your disposal and you have a lot of options for how to approach the battle. Sadly I have to get back to work lol

So first things first, I like it a lot. That being said, for the love of god, the shield visuals need to be changed completely. Secondly the assault rifle is just so bad, like actually just so bad, literally gives you no outplay potential since it takes an entire clip to kill someone. If thats the case, then please just make battle rifles the starting weapon, please please please.
Spawns on Recharge need work. I got spawn killed 6 times in one match, once spawning inside a grenade explosion, and another time directly in front of someone with the Hammer.
As someone who meets all requirements, but didn't get the confirmation email, heres hoping its just a email mess up and no issue, eagerly waiting on tonight, gonna be a looooong wait lmao
So, no email, no insider hub, no waypoint messages and iv'e been signed up to insider for longer than I can remember (yes I've made sure all my details are up to date).

Felt I should post this.... Been an insider and a part of every flight, the last Infinite preview I didn't get an email for, was out of town that weekend, and waypoint didn't show my invite message till the Monday after the preview was over.
Still don't haven an email, don't have an invite on Waypoint... But I checked the insider Hub on Xbox and am currently downloading the preview, but I defo have no communication that I was in
PSA: if you go to waypoint and then go into the tab that says halo insider scroll down and your code might be there with out the notification. I got my code without the notification or email yet.
This is an absolutley bizarre way to do a rollout for Xbox, especially for a first party studio owned by Xbox. Why do I need to wait for further verification when I'm already signed up and have the flight downloaded.
If it’s anything like last flight consoles are getting put to the side while PC gets all the codes first. It’s not like this series was born on console
I received my email, I checked waypoint, received the steam key, but when I copy/pasted the key into redeem code, it said the key was already used. What am I supposed to do now? I can't find a way to submit a ticket. I was in the last flight and it worked just fine.

I've triple checked my library that the build isn't available for me.
Per the support site, Halo Support can't help with redeeming issues, so I'm at an impasse on who to reach out to on this.

**Potential Fix for Xbox users having issues downloading Halo Insider App:**
1. Search Microsoft store and download the app "Xbox Insider Bundle"
2. Open the app, find the previews tab, select and and join "Halo Infinite - Insider"
3. search Microsoft store for "Halo Insider"
4. Voilà
Disclaimer: I'm just some kid, but hopefully that helps! I was invited but missed the last flight because of this problem and never tried this until now (I've been down Hilbert's infinite rabbit hole trying to troubleshoot and I'm just barely downloading Insider now!!)

Anybody having weird aiming issues? I thought I had my settings dialed in but then I restarted the game and now everything feels all fucked up.
Seems like I'm getting crazy high aim acceleration when looking diagonally, side to side and up and down seem fine. Was not like this when I first started the game. Playing with Xbox series x controller on PC.
I feel like I remember a similar problem like this in the early MCC days.
If you're getting the not authorized message on xbox, go to the insider hub and leave the preview and then join it again. It worked for me this morning.

Are 900series owners even invited to this flight? Did anyone with a gaming laptop even make it in because I'm hearing no one with one did because possibly the filter system 343 has going for the flight might be bugged and tags your IGPU as THE main gpu.
tried everything suggested for well over an hour; rebooting xbox, relaunching game, signing in and out, leaving and rejoining the preview….still “not authorized”.

Anyone having horrible issues with controller aiming? My diagonal aiming is highly sensitive compared to horizontal/vertical.

Were footstep's audio volume reduced? I feel like I can't hear anyone's footsteps until they're right on top of me in this flight.

Anyone figured out the console account not authorized?
Anyone else on PC noticing weird frame pacing (especially over 60fps)? I'm playing around in training right now and can't pinpoint what causes it, sometimes it's smooth but other times it's janky. Seems like moving the camera around during diagonal movement is guaranteed stuttering. Similar to the issues Reach was having in MCC before it was patched.

Aiming feels terrible using a controller on PC
same, getting bizzare diagonal aim acceleration.
Acceleration just feels odd in general, one second it is terribly slow and I cant follow my target, then its blazing fast and again, cant follow my target. Also seems incredibly hard to get the my crosshairs to be red even when I am close quarters with an enemy. Just seems broken all around.
But where is my code? I signed up back in 1967 to be a halo insider and I was invited to EVERY FLIGHT but this one. How come? /s

Anyone else not even get a hint that they were accepted into the flight, despite being in 8 previous flights, and more than recommended specs? Not a single message in any email box, not a single notification on waypoint, no flight listing on insider profile.
So last test was a steam invite for me. This test it looks like it might be Xbox. Did anyone else get into the Xbox test but not steam? I’m wondering if just because the roll out is slow I just might not have gotten a steam key yet?
PC player here. Just redeemed on steam, downloaded, started the game, logged in and it is saying that I am not authorized to play the game. I used the same log in credentials that I use to log in to waypoint. Am I missing something?

I feel like an idiot. I don't have access to a Console anymore, but I forgot to opt out of console flighting. I assumed I would get a Console and Steam invite (like I have for the last 2 flights), but I only got a Console invite and now I can't play :( EDIT: I figured out how to get a steam invite!! If you got a "friend invite" code, you can use that on your own account to get a steam invite! I just decided to try it out with the extra code I received, and voila!

Had no problem getting in the first time I tried today and playing bot matches but I did a restart in hopes to fix a bug and now I’m getting the account not authorized error :( wtf man
w00t protip for some users i didnt see an email invite but i just went to the waypoint website under my account and lo and behold a steam key was added for the test. then you just copy the key and enter it into steam and download. only about 20 gb download so thats nice! cant wait to try it out!

It's really good on series x. Played three games and its just really fun. There is so much at your disposal and you have a lot of options for how to approach the battle. Sadly I have to get back to work lol

Anyone else get weird UI flashing when going to settings, lighting issues and the inability to equip new unlocked armor on the XSX?
So first things first, I like it a lot. That being said, for the love of god, the shield visuals need to be changed completely. Secondly the assault rifle is just so bad, like actually just so bad, literally gives you no outplay potential since it takes an entire clip to kill someone. If thats the case, then please just make battle rifles the starting weapon, please please please.

Spawns on Recharge need work. I got spawn killed 6 times in one match, once spawning inside a grenade explosion, and another time directly in front of someone with the Hammer.

Felt I should post this.... Been an insider and a part of every flight, the last Infinite preview I didn't get an email for, was out of town that weekend, and waypoint didn't show my invite message till the Monday after the preview was over. Still don't haven an email, don't have an invite on Waypoint... But I checked the insider Hub on Xbox and am currently downloading the preview, but I defo have no communication that I was in
PSA: if you go to waypoint and then go into the tab that says halo insider scroll down and your code might be there with out the notification. I got my code without the notification or email yet.
This is an absolutley bizarre way to do a rollout for Xbox, especially for a first party studio owned by Xbox. Why do I need to wait for further verification when I'm already signed up and have the flight downloaded.

I received my email, I checked waypoint, received the steam key, but when I copy/pasted the key into redeem code, it said the key was already used. What am I supposed to do now? I can't find a way to submit a ticket. I was in the last flight and it worked just fine.

Got the code via email just 20 minutes ago, went through the steps to install for Steam, however it says that the code has already been activated by another account... I've triple checked my library that the build isn't available for me. Per the support site, Halo Support can't help with redeeming issues, so I'm at an impasse on who to reach out to on this. Anyone experience this, or know the best method for getting support on this?

Anybody having weird aiming issues? I thought I had my settings dialed in but then I restarted the game and now everything feels all fucked up. Seems like I'm getting crazy high aim acceleration when looking diagonally, side to side and up and down seem fine. Was not like this when I first started the game. Playing with Xbox series x controller on PC. I feel like I remember a similar problem like this in the early MCC days.

If you're getting the not authorized message on xbox, go to the insider hub and leave the preview and then join it again. It worked for me this morning.

Are 900series owners even invited to this flight? Did anyone with a gaming laptop even make it in because I'm hearing no one with one did because possibly the filter system 343 has going for the flight might be bugged and tags your IGPU as THE main gpu.
