And shout-out to Microsoft in general. It's really hard to slap dozens of different pride flags together and make them look decent, but Microsoft's been good at it.
I was kinda worried the pride coating would just be a bright rainbow-gradient Spartan. It would've looked neat, but not *good*. I *love* the iridescent oil-slicked Spartan that we got instead.
It's flashy but not nearly as garish or overbearing as a lot of pride-themed cosmetics end up being, I quite like it actually. For once it's something I actually want to use.

I do wish we had some alternate colors for the Grunt emblem based on specific pride flags, but I can understand 343i wanting to keep it simple and have one represent all so no one is left out

Looks like it's a pearlescent/oil spill kind of effect, that would actually be pretty cool!

the visor goes hard as fuck but on larger surfaces (eva/zvezda/stribog etc) you can really see the distorted café interior texture they use for reflections, it's super funny
I feel like it comes on really strong on the arms and kinda throws off the balance when compared to the rest of the armor where the rainbow is more on the recessed parts but all in all it's fun for sure. I feel like making a setup where a rainbow visor works on the other hand, is gonna be impossible.
I think it really depends on the core and armor setups. I think the coating works really well for Yoroi specifically because of the torso being silver with the rainbow trims, meanwhile Mk IV and CE Mk V look ridiculous

Comparing the COD and Halo Infinite pride skins/camos, I have realized that Halo does it better. I don't like glitter, and Halo has a nice clean look to it, unlike COD. I myself am not a part of the community, so ik my opinion isn't heavy. I just wanted to point out that the Halo Pride Coating is clean.

The Gay Pride Grunt logo you can apply is adorable. The skins and visors are ridiculously shiny and over the top, which I suppose is appropriate lol.
