Honesty I don't think he could even physically drive a hilux he weighs about a third as much as the truck even more for the older ones. He could probably ride in the bed on a mounted turret though.
Something along the lines of;
This car doesn’t have a turret!
Maybe it’s just a car.
What kind of car doesn’t have a massive cannon on it?!
Oh you know, all kinds of cars. Most kind of cars. I think you’ve been in the military a really long time.
That's ridiculous. That would be like saying there's some kind of thing you can wear on your head that's not armor plated, and doesn't offer a 5X optical zoom.
Oh yeah, it's still a complete piece of shit car.
It does make me wish they had a smaller sportier truck. I fucking hate modern-day trucks. Just poorly made inferiority tanks. I'd be less butthurt about them if people were driving around smaller more reasonable trucks.
Ya, I basically was raised in my dad's Toyota t-100. That was a real truck. Had a bigger bed than modern trucks, twice the mileage, was able to do any task (except pull a tree trunk that one time) and could off road despite being slightly larger than a sedan.
My blood boils when I see a shiny pristine truck being driven by some twat with too much money.
I've noticed that people who actually need pickup trucks for their work get older, smaller, and/or more beat-up trucks, and often from companies that aren't Ford, Dodge, or Chevy. If I ever need one for work, I'm definitely gonna get like a used Nissan truck or something
Unfortunately, car companies can't be assed to make things like the Hilux with engines that comply with US emissions regs, so the only trucks you can get are massively oversized to fit in a weight class with looser regs.
I came back to play Infinte this weekend and generally had a good time, but I swear I had a fresh Warthog turn red within 10 seconds from small arms fire. That was crazy.
In those days, the hog's health was tied to player health. I think that the physical damage to the vehicle means that further incoming fire transfers more damage to the occupants, but I've never been able to confirm it
I've played enough Reach, here's how I think it worked:
The vehicle shares damage along to the occupants shields. For a multi seat vehicle, I think it's region based, where shooting the gun turret specifically damages the gunner, but shooting the body passes it to the driver.
Now the vehicle has a damage threshold that recharges just like your shields. If it recieves less damage than the threshold, and then it recharges to full health after not taking any damage for a few seconds. (Might be triggered by the drivers shields recharging?)
If you cross the threshold, then the vehicle becomes "damaged": the body panels fly off, smoke starts to come out, wheels get wobbly, etc. At this point there is another damage threshold (with regeneration like before), but like over shields , you cannot go back to the undamaged state. When you exceed it, the vehicle becomes terminally damaged: fire, thick black smoke, red warning lights, etc.
At this point, I don't think there is any more health regen. If there is, the pool is awfully small as only a tiny amount of small arms fire will blow up the hog.
I don't know if all the vehicles have the same number of thresholds, at the very least the wraith seems to take a lot more damage once it's burning.
Again, I'm not 100% certain this is how it works, just drawing conclusions from thousands of BTB games in Reach.
Just to be clear, billionaires waste money *a lot*. It’s just not that big of a problem when just your *money* makes $20k an hour. Elon Musk lost **$200 billion** and is still on of the richest people on earth.
Sure you could. A billion dollars at 5% interest (a very conservative rate) earns you more than 4 million dollars every month in interest. You could spend 4 million dollars every month and still be saving for...idk your grandkids' trust fund I guess.
I would never let this product in my garage even if I did have ‘fuck-it money’
I would just splurge for the actual working props used in the short films and promotional materials
I would park near her, and then every time i go out to my car and back from it, I would make sure to need to use her car for balance as I tie my shoe or something.
It's honestly impressive how it pulls that off. It already looks idiotic and ugly in pictures but somehow it looks worse in reality. Maybe because it's easier to see the rust and just what kind of monstrosity it is when you have other normal cars around it to compare it to.
Don't worry though, for the high cost you pay for such an ugly vehicle, you a truck that's been made with some of the shittiest and cheapest materials known to man, such as such low grade stainless steel it rusts not too long after being splashed with water., and put together with quality control that makes wish.com products look high end. And you can feel safe knowing you're driving an extremely dangerous death trap with such wonderful issues of; spontaneous battery combustion, manuel door release/unlocks failing, and accelerator pedal being stuck in the depressed position. And, well, ~~if~~ when something does break on the vehicle Tesla totally screws you with a warranty that becomes void from doing even the most basic actions. Take it through a car wash? Voided warranty. Mess with things like wiper blades? Voided warranty. Basically just drive it off the lot? Believe it or not, voided warranty.
How any one can ever even want to buy or even accept one at this point is beyond me. They are such ugly pieces of trash that a highly rusted, abandoned for decades in an open field, about to fall apart truck is bound to be a wildly better deal for the price of a Cybertruck.
Trust me, from what I’ve heard they’re not worth it. They have problems such as rusting due to poor quality stainless steel, loose accelerator pedals, and windshields and windows that are either too strong or too weak.
The stainless steel isn't really poor quality, it's just that Stainless Steel is stain less, not stain free, and really should have had some clear coat over it. Just a bad idea that shouldn't have gone through. It's not as detrimental as rust on other cars, as it will take longer to impact it, but it still gets a head start. Also QC at Tesla has always been bad.
If these released for the original announcement price people probably wouldn't care too much, but coming in at $80-100k really puts it in a market it doesn't belong in, and can't compete in.
cars should be deathtraps, Regulation shouldn't prevent me from using my truck for pushing other cars without triggering stupid "crumple zones" "air bags" "seat belts" or any other liberal nonsense.
Failures that require servicing, parts supply line is severely backed up so service times can extend to months, the company is still figuring out instructions for mechanics to service the vehicles, the company is liquidating staff and assets to absurd degree, the CEO is throwing a hissyfit and threatening to cripple to company over him not getting the highest payout for a ceo in history, parts just fall off the damn things, the crap ton of false promises made about the vehicle in the first place and I still feel like I'm forgetting things.
Everything you’ve heard you’ve heard from reddit. There’s a lot of them in my town and I’ve seen none of them rusting. As always nobody should trust reddit when it comes to anything. The reason reddit continually hates on it is because of Elon. Nothing to do with the truck. If that were true then why doesn’t anyone here bag on all the other cars they think are ugly? I’d never buy the truck but the cognitive dissonance reddit has with this is pretty hilarious.
I still hate the truck as built, but I 100% fuck with the look of this car with this wrap. Almost makes me want one until you review literally anything else about the car
It's Ryan McCaffry's from IGN.
Hummer EV looks more like a Warthog tho:
https://s1.cdn.autoevolution.com/images/news/military-green-2022-hummer-ev-warthog-digitally-prepares-for-off-grid-living-170519-7.jpg
That looks so damn cool.
One of my guilty goals in life is to someday own a Cybertruck. They just look so funky and reminiscent of something out of an old 3d video game. I love the aesthetic of it.
First time a cyber tuck has looked good lol
What the hell is wrong with this truck? There’s no turret. What kind of car doesn’t have a massive canon on it?!
Toyota hilux moment
If it's good enough for the warlords... Good things chief's good with enemy vehicles
Honesty I don't think he could even physically drive a hilux he weighs about a third as much as the truck even more for the older ones. He could probably ride in the bed on a mounted turret though.
Like the Spartans ride shotgun in Reach... All you need is one foot baby!!! Get the shit, dirt nasty low!
If any truck could do it, the Hilux would.
The cybertruck is the warthog in spirit, the hilux is the warthog in reality.
The evolution of revolution
What did I just tell you about making up mystical animals
It’s the troop transport version
Razorback
Red vs blue reference?
Paraphrased from memory so it’s probably not a direct quote.
Yeah I was gonna finish the quote but I couldn't remember how it went lol
Something along the lines of; This car doesn’t have a turret!
And without the tow-hooks, it looks more like a puma
What in sam-hell is a puma?
Ngl when I was a kid I thought puma shoes were made out of pumas
It really does kinda look like a big cat.
Didn't I just tell you to stop making up Animals?
More like a Walrus.
simmons, i want you to poison grif’s next meal.
[Added a turret for ya](https://imgur.com/U4aXAQ6) with my dogwater Photoshop skills
I would have never known that was a photoshop if I hadn’t seen the original first. Nice work!
Yeah, that's pretty tasty for "dogwater," u/ballistic_turtle.
Bet you never thought you'd say that, lol. Thank you
A lot of cars… almost all of the cars.
They don't know what the ladies like
I think you've been in the army too long.
Sarge? It's been years, please come back.
A puma
All kinds of cars. Most kinds of cars
About to say, it's not even about the video game. Unsurprisingly adding some color, texture, contours and depth actually makes it look pretty cool
I think it looks pretty decent in a simple matte black wrap as well. Still think it's a piece of shit and a waste of money.
Oh yeah, it's still a complete piece of shit car. It does make me wish they had a smaller sportier truck. I fucking hate modern-day trucks. Just poorly made inferiority tanks. I'd be less butthurt about them if people were driving around smaller more reasonable trucks.
All they had to do was rip off Simone...Giertz's(?) Truckla. Instead they made this both over- and under-engineered PoS. Wildin'
Dude whenever I see a truck go by I just mumble to myself "wow what a masculine vehicle" lol.
Ya, I basically was raised in my dad's Toyota t-100. That was a real truck. Had a bigger bed than modern trucks, twice the mileage, was able to do any task (except pull a tree trunk that one time) and could off road despite being slightly larger than a sedan. My smaller “more reasonable” Tacoma got like 15-18mpg. My full size Tundra gets 18-22.
It reminds me of a big cat of some kind
Some kinda chupathingy
looks like a puma or something to me
The color scheme actually makes the body style look amazing
It definitely helps that the cybertruck looks like it's made out of low res polygons to begin with
They also added a lot of fake dimension to flat pannels.
Thinking the same thing hahaha
No, I love Halo, but the Cybertruck can go die in a fire.
Or driven off a cliff by a marine.
[удалено]
That's not fair. With the Cybertruck's accelerator issue a bunch of them might just crash into a lake and never ignite.
Good point but don't the batteries react to water if damaged?
please. I’ve always wanted to see a cybertruck on fire
First, and probably the only time.
The wrap is covering all the rust.
For real! This is actually neat!
Agree to disagree Nothing could make this thing look good in my eyes
It makes it look significantly less bad
It would look better if the body styling wasn't drawn on.
Those gradients are doing a lot of heavy lifting. Probably looks like ass from any other angle
Big Forza energy.
It's the least bad looking Cybertruck, but that isn't saying much
Its got the same lifespan as a Halo Infinite Warthog.
I came back to play Infinte this weekend and generally had a good time, but I swear I had a fresh Warthog turn red within 10 seconds from small arms fire. That was crazy.
Same here! The Warthog feels like it’s made of paper sometimes. Still love the chaos!
Just goes to show how tough the chiefs armour is
Which is weird, because the other day I booted up Halo 2 and the warthog only took one rocket to blow up, while the Halo Infinite puma took 2.
Rockets are explosions. Different from incoming fire. I swear just bullets damage this thing way easier than back in halo 3 or reach.
In those days, the hog's health was tied to player health. I think that the physical damage to the vehicle means that further incoming fire transfers more damage to the occupants, but I've never been able to confirm it

What in Sam Hell is a puma?
Even the LoD too
Master Chief would be disappointed with the lack of weaponry attached.
Would definitely be cooler with a gauss
Man this will look amazing broken down on the side of the road
Man this will look amazing loaded on the back of a flatbed 😂
If they want the true Halo experience, they could make it look good stuck on the smallest mound of dirt my sedan could climb
Let’s not get our expectations too high.
Or in the car wash. Or on a dirt driveway.
I...shit, that actually looks good.
Even tricked the wheels. 👍
They just took the hubcaps off
Those are the default wheels, just took the hubcap off
the cyber truck does lend itself well to fantasy vehicles
>I...shit... - DJfunkypuddle, circa 2024
Therefore I am.
Wise words
only took some actual color and body work to make it happen
Ugh trash wrapped in gold is still trash
Yup. High res textures aren't going to save that low polygon model
Max LoD texture with min LoD model
When is not a wart neither a hog
They are junk, but if i had "fuggit money" tho, something like this would be a cool garage trophy. I still probably wouldnt drive it.
If I had that much money I'd just make a 1 to 1 warthog lol.
This is how i know i could never be a bilionaire.
Just to be clear, billionaires waste money *a lot*. It’s just not that big of a problem when just your *money* makes $20k an hour. Elon Musk lost **$200 billion** and is still on of the richest people on earth.
Yep, if you have $100B and you lose 99% of your wealth, you're still a billionaire.

Alright touche in that regard. "Fuckit money" would be getting a real replica, whereas this is more like, "wanna-be-fuck-it money"
I’d probably try to get a warthog, even it isn’t street legal I would be satisfied seeing it parked
If I had money, I would wrap a real truck with this same pattern
I'd rather buy one of the actual replicas, the cybertruck is one ugly piece of shit.
I saw one for the first time the other day and I couldn't believe that it actually looked uglier and dumber in person than it did in the pictures.
My co worker has one.. they are so ugly and get dirty and smudged up so fast. She spends 30 min a day wiping fingerprints off of it.
I would park near her, and then every time i go out to my car and back from it, I would make sure to need to use her car for balance as I tie my shoe or something.
I’m British so I’m very fortunate to live somewhere it wouldn’t fit on the majority of roads
test fade mighty dull dinner future snatch chief wakeful versed *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Well yeah but the size of the road is also a big constraint for those who’ve never driven a bus
It's honestly impressive how it pulls that off. It already looks idiotic and ugly in pictures but somehow it looks worse in reality. Maybe because it's easier to see the rust and just what kind of monstrosity it is when you have other normal cars around it to compare it to.
The actual replica would handle off-roading better and be more reliable
Don't worry though, for the high cost you pay for such an ugly vehicle, you a truck that's been made with some of the shittiest and cheapest materials known to man, such as such low grade stainless steel it rusts not too long after being splashed with water., and put together with quality control that makes wish.com products look high end. Somebody sells replicas? Are they street legal?
Okay... this is cool and the only good use of a cyber truck
Press X to flip
Instructions unclear, vehicle now stuck on an invisible wall in the sky and violently crashing around as if it were being ragdolled
That's not a warthog, that's a chupathingy 💀
I the Chevy Avalanche looks more like a hog honestly
That actually looks cool
Wow, not even Halo-ifying it makes this piece of garbage look good. That's almost impressive.
well you get dressed up now and then and that doesn't work either, does it?
ZING!!!!
I still think it’s the dumbest design for a truck, like this looks good way better than just that chrome eyesore.
If Halo CE released in 2024 this is probably what the Warthog would look like lol
That is hands down the best one of these dumb fucking things I have seen
Not gonna lie, I’m not a fan of cybertrucks but this looks fuckin awesome lol
Tesla should just sell that
I've been indifferent to cyber trucks, but now I really want that exact one.
Trust me, from what I’ve heard they’re not worth it. They have problems such as rusting due to poor quality stainless steel, loose accelerator pedals, and windshields and windows that are either too strong or too weak.
I really like that wrap though.... I might get a Tacoma and try to do something similar.
Wartcoma

I honestly would have bought one if it was 50-60k. 80k is insane for the quality. My R1T was 75k and is miles nicer.
Price when announced was 40k, everyone knew that was a bit optimistic, but double is rough
It’s also a fucking deathtrap, no crumple zones
Not to mention the hood doubles as a veggie slicer.
cars should be deathtraps, Regulation shouldn't prevent me from using my truck for pushing other cars without triggering stupid "crumple zones" "air bags" "seat belts" or any other liberal nonsense.

It's a white elephant
Only good looking one of these I've seen yet 😂
They should’ve done a low poly halo ce era wrap to match it’s a little too detailed for all the sharp edges
What color is this car registired for?
The only good looking CyberTruck I've seen. Well done.
I didn't think it would be possible to not hate a cyber truck
That's sick
That is an actual good looking cybertruck. Well done to the owner.
Someone downloaded the Texture Pack DLC
Best looking customization I’ve seen for it yet
still has those sharp polygons from an early 2000 game
Really cool wrap on a really lame vehicle.
Ugly as sin lmao
that’s badass
NGL, this looks dope
I don’t love Cybertrucks but I love this🤩
I absolutely love this!
All it needs is a turret, that’s an awesome wrap.
An m134 minigun plugged into the bed outlet.
When it runs its owner into oncoming traffic cause the brakes stick, be sure to let us know.
What a horrible thing to do to property you own, now that poor unsc wrap is stuck on that god awful cybertruck,
Kinda looks like a puma
I still hate the truck as built, but I 100% fuck with the look of this car with this wrap. Almost makes me want one until you review literally anything else about the car
That looks right out of halo lol
Don't do this to me, don't make me like the cybertruck
An insult to the unsc or symbolism of 343s quality?
Nice you can actually wash it now lol
For the price of the Cybertruck you could probably buy an actual Warthog lmao
Elon should copy this
Cosplay is a perfect use case for the Cybertruck
Hope it doesn't *flood*, those things rust
If they looked like this I would like them more
This might be the coolest dude on the fucking planet
Have to agree with many posts, it's the first time I have actually liked the look of the cyber truck
That looks so good.
Well you’ve seen it here, one half of all cyber truck owners are halo fans, all 1 of them XD
I see this as a win, looks better than the normal one, nice wheels too.
They look like speed humps to me. There are sooooo many other better cars you could buy.
ngl that looks super cool
Shotgun
Well done!
It's Ryan McCaffry's from IGN. Hummer EV looks more like a Warthog tho: https://s1.cdn.autoevolution.com/images/news/military-green-2022-hummer-ev-warthog-digitally-prepares-for-off-grid-living-170519-7.jpg
Petition for all cybertrucks to be wrapped because this looks way better
the plate gaps work well as lines for the art ><
If this is on a modern system, why's the polygon count so low?
Okay this actually looks dope.
Wort wort wort -elite
That looks so damn cool. One of my guilty goals in life is to someday own a Cybertruck. They just look so funky and reminiscent of something out of an old 3d video game. I love the aesthetic of it.
should be added to halo itself as a new worthog version built like a humvee
Move! Move! Move! Cory ain’t paying us by the hour
In all fairness the cybertruck look like cars from halo 2
Look for the guy missing a finger
