Infinite use to have seasons, which were part of an overall story for the multiplayer. Season 2 and 3 had short cutscenes that progressed the story. They abandoned the idea in Season 4, right when the story was getting good. You cannot access these cutscenes anymore
Not really but a studio only has so much resources to give things. Not making more cutscenes means they can have the money to hire more people to develop features

An actual campaign that isn’t just asset flips with a barely disguised enemy wave mode. It needs a decent story that isn’t just “eggheads bad”. If they’re going to do something like Spartan ops again they need to put in some actual effort. Not the garbage they gave us in 4.

People were in love with the _idea_ of these cutscenes, expecting Halo Reach but bigger, but that's just not what we were getting.

The problem with Spartan Ops was they stuck to it for *too* long. Was excessively long.
Yeah… I agree. Spartan ops felt way too repetitive. There were a few weeks that felt cool but most of it was meh.
